First in foremost, you did admit you made a statement that you cannot back up. I thank you for that. You seem to be one of the minority on this board that think Josh Allen is a bust. For everyone on the board who says that at this point in time here is my take: It is absolutely 100% impossible to make that judgment. Alan may turn out to be the best of all the quarterbacks drafted this year. Or he may not. It simply cannot be determined at this time. That is a fact, it is not debatable. Consequently, people who are already pronouncing him a bust have no credibility with me for this simple reason: Anyone who professes to no the unknowable is suspect with me regardless of the topic. Now if I miss judged you in the sense that you don’t necessarily think at this point in time that Alan is a bust, I apologize. Your posts make you come across that way. And, for some advice to take or leave as you see fit, I wouldn’t make such assertions in terms of what the entire board or the Buffalo Bills fandom seem to think when you can’t back it up. That’s just my scientific training in me coming out regarding these kinds of issues.

Can you find all of us some actuarial data, you know, empirical research that is not debatable, that a “huge” amount of bills fans didn’t want Josh Allen? You find it and post it and I might agree with that shoot from the hip assertion. At this point it’s only wishful thinking on your part because you didn’t want him drafted. My own anecdotal evidence regarding this issue is that the majority of bills fans, even on this board, are quite pleased with his acquisition.

This is, indeed, the case. He is not going anywhere. Regardless of what you think about him, the fact that he got the bills into the playoffs in and did the drought bought him, in my opinion, at least two years. This is not to say if he ends up being a great coach or not. I don’t know if you will be but I have some confidence in him because he actually did get us to the playoffs! He will not be fired this year or during the off-season.

I live in the Syracuse area, also. I have seen all the games Dungey has played. He has regressed this year, clearly. He will be lucky to get drafted at this point. More likely a UDA. Yes, this is it. A tear in the tendon does not usually mean there’s some type of full tear like an incision made by scissors. You are absolutely right. Also, these tears typically heal with rest and rehab. I would imagine Josh, given his youth and natural recovery ability might heal pretty quickly and be as good as new.But, as a fan I get the concern and I have a little bit of it, also.

Maybe they can “undo” the AJ trade and get him back. Then cut Peterman. I would be all for that. Seriously

The defense only gave up 13 points! By any standard that is an awesome performance. You would take that in any game. This closes the case on this very bad take!!!!!

I’m on. Anyone who claims that Josh Allen is already a genuine “bust” has questionable judgment. I am wary of anybody in all aspects of my life who professes to know the unknowable. Why should it be any different in this case?

If I understand you correctly. And I think I do, you are saying that Josh Allen is a bust already! This is the reality of the situation with regard to your post: Your post says nothing whatsoever about Josh Allen. Yes, it is absolutely way too early to make any such pronouncements such as his being a bust. And, by the way, when you’re saying the bills should draft a quarterback next year you’re actually calling him a bust. This is 100% ridiculous! Maybe it is my own scientific training but there is absolutely no adequate empirical evidence to make such a judgment at this point. All your post does is say a lot about you and your judgement and credibility. Right now, your credibility is hanging by a thread just based on this post. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but this one is, quite frankly, is really bad!
