  1. How do we know that he hasn’t had a second opinion? I really don’t think they would put them out there if there was anything less than a minimal chance of re-injury. I hope I’m wrong
  2. Yes, they let them play if they have determined that the chance of re-injury is minimal. I would wager that their opinions are far more right than wrong. Don’t take James Woods version of a doctor on “any given Sunday” too literally.
  3. Actually, there is very likely a clear-cut protocol when medical professionals assess a hamstring injury. I don’t think your anecdotal evidence plays into this. Like I said in a previous post. If the medical staff cleared him to play that absolutely means they have also assessed that the likelihood of re-injury is minimal.
  4. If the medical staff determines that he can play Sunday that means they have also determined that the likelihood of re-injury is minimal. In other words, if he’s good to go, he’s good to go.
  5. Also, the defensive backs and the linebackers who are covering potential receivers can’t let any separation happen from the get go.
  6. Wins are a statistic, right?
  7. Bourbon. There is no substitute.
  8. Cowboys. The audacity to call themselves America’s Team. The pinnacle of pomposity!
  9. In many areas of life the past is prologue. Not so much in the NFL. I really don’t care about recent or remote history versus the Pats*. Beat them on Sunday, and this is absolutely possible, that history becomes bunk.
  10. We will take it under consideration.
  11. Singletary, in particular, is crucial IMO. If he can’t go the offense will be “hamstrung”. He is the X factor
  12. I’m quite sure that the players and the coaches feel confident they can win this game if they play well. It’s just a bunch of fans that have this “loser mentality“ regarding the Pats*. Which, given recent history, is quite understandable. The attitude one takes is a choice. I choose to be positive that they can definitely win this game. They might pull an upset or get beaten badly. Either way, I like to stay optimistic. Research shows it causes some good chemicals to be secreted by your body when you maintain a positive attitude. If they lose, then it’s onto the next game.
  13. Interesting point. Therefore, if things work out, your offense gets more plays. I meant to quote this post with my post. For some reason it didn’t register. Anyway, interesting point
  14. My point was the Bengals didn’t go after him. So even if it was a live play they didn’t even know it. White probably and unknowingly ran out the clock
  15. The Bengals players also knew it. They didn’t go after him. Besides, if it was still a live play he was running around so much that the game would’ve probably ended. Either way, great ending to a tough game
  16. The change of quarters makes it tougher on their field-goal kicker
  17. Wow, I’m near Syracuse and we don’t have anything like that wind here. Just the heat.
  18. Even if they get to draft him, Tua might say. “ No way. Not there. Not going!”
