  1. They weren’t trying to burn the clock at the beginning of the third-quarter. They were trying to establish a running game. There is a big difference. They were not going ultra conservative. Give the Giants defense some credit. They made some adjustments and shut our offense down for a quarter. A lot of you don’t seem to be getting this.
  2. Yep. The fact is, the right answer to this question is always “it depends”. Context, context and context!
  3. True, but this was all way after he was a Bill After a questionable start, he actually embraced Buffalo.
  4. I really hope this is true. I would love for this to cause some kind of meltdown in the locker room and on the field. However, history has shown that things like this only make the Bill and Tom show stronger. That is my fear.
  5. You should have highlighted the last sentence of that paragraph, instead. As a previous poster said, the reactions of a sexual assault victim can come across as counterintuitive. I understand your point, but it does not contradict the prevailing scientific data regarding this issue. And, I guarantee you, these things get very complicated.
  6. Thanks. I was ready to quote that figure if needed. 2010 study from the journal “Violence Against Women”.
  7. Good points. Who knows what really happened but, based on the information available, this does not come across as frivolous.
  8. I agree with you. False accusations certainly occur. This is why we need due process. However, false accusations are, by far, the exception not the rule. True dat!
  9. FWIW. I’m a clinical psychologist. I have been treating patients in my community for 40 years. I kid you not when I tell you that I have done at least 500 evaluations of victims of sexual assault, mostly female. In these situations the victim feels intense shame, embarrassment, and a very real fear that no one will believe her. Also, they may have real concern over their financial or employment status if they make a report. Clearly we have to wait until due process is done and, hopefully, something close to the truth comes out. However, all of the facts behind this woman filing this case including waiting as long as she did and never lodging a criminal complaint are quite typical.
  10. Well, of course he gets due process and, constitutionally, the benefit of a doubt. But, you’ve got to admit, within the context of who he is, this is some serious piling on.
  11. He did have a good game. I don’t see any debate about that. The question is can he maintain it
  12. It could be worse. They could be talking about Tyrod.
  13. This is why Beasley is so important. They finally have an effective slot receiver. He makes those third and medium to long plays doable on a regular basis. The defense has to attend to him. Also takes pressure off the speed guys.
  14. A blowout would be nice but getting the win is the most important thing. I don’t think they have to blow the Giants out to prove that they are a playoff team. The game is on the road. It is only the second game of the season. Much to be figured out for everybody. Just win the game
  15. Actually, he needed to catch that ball. As far as making the completion is concerned it was an accurate throw . I guarantee you that’s how he sees it.
  16. Agreed, that second half was special for Josh. I love the resilience and the big plays that he made. Except for the interceptions his statistics are probably decent but that’s not the story here. It’s early but it bodes well for the future. He gave that game away then he took it right back
