  1. Don’t agree. Clearly Yeldon has done nothing to instill a drop of confidence in the coaches. If so he would have seen the field weeks ago! If Gore is “done” then Yeldon never got put in the oven. Before the season is done I wouldn’t be surprised if Gore makes an important contribution.
  2. If Singleterry goes down, who do you want to replace him as the number one running back? I know who I want, Gore. It would not be a great situation but he would be the best option. Consequently he needs to be active and, yes, he needs touches. He is still getting some tough yards on a lot of his carries. The OP overstates the case.
  3. My cardiovascular health has been pretty good up until tonightMy cardiovascular health has been pretty good up until tonight
  4. Aikman compared Jackson to Sanders. When I watch him he reminds me of OJ the way he runs.
  5. I agree in principle. However, BPA comes into play. If, by far, the best player available when they draft in the first round is a pass rushing defensive end you got to take him
  6. Once in a blue moon, booger makes a good point. You have to wonder how much the loss of Frank Reich has hurt the Eagles
  7. And he’s done it with a mediocre supporting cast! It’s not as simple as you think. If you can’t see the indicators from what he has done already regardless of this overstated strength of schedule stuff then you are just missing it IMO. But, the question of how good he will ultimately be has not been finally answered. So, let’s wait and see what happens.
  8. You’re asking the wrong question. All trees, no forest. The more relevant question is : What part of the season made you think Allen has the potential to be an elite quarterback? Then the answer is obvious if you have been watching all of the games
  9. I wasn’t necessarily talking about this year. On the other hand, the offense has looked pretty good the last three games. I’m not giving up on it just because of a poor game today. Are you? To me that is not a rational position but just reacting to the negative emotions after a loss.
  10. Our defense made their offense look pedestrian. No one else has been able to do that. When our offense catches up, we will be very tough to beat. I’m not happy about the loss but I’m not at all discouraged about the season. It would take an epic collapse to not get a wildcard
  11. Painful loss! Josh was terrible in the first half. Our receivers were terrible in the second half just when Josh was starting to get his game going. Defense was damn good. Just one blown play that, unfortunately, resulted in a touchdown. Why no screen passes or draw plays to counter their rush?
  12. His post-Heisman year was actually still pretty impressive. More importantly, he improved his passing skills markedly during that year which has clearly translated to his performance in the NFL.
  13. The Baker commercials are insufferable to me. I am indifferent to most of the others with a few good ones. The real problem for me, including for the good ones, is that after seeing them two or three times they also become insufferable. I guess it’s just an occupational hazard from watching a lot of NFL football.
  14. I also have been a fan since day one of the franchise. A terrific OP and my compliments. I couldn’t say it any better. Well done! BTW.... I graduated from the long defunct LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls in 1971.
  15. OK then. Ravens looking awesome so far this year. Just remember, hubris is a B word.
  16. If the bills win, are you woman enough to come back on this forum and eat some crow? Otherwise, the only fact is that you are a pathetic troll.
  17. My take is 50% analysis and 50% homerism. The Bills of the last 3 games is not the same team as the Bills of the first 6 games. Much better on both sides of the ball. And, the hell with stats, Josh Allen is a force! Love his will to win. Maybe Roberts gets a TD return. 31-24 Bills
  18. Of course he can be stopped. Anyone can be stopped in this game. The better question is: can he be beaten? Of course he can. It will not take long for NFL defenses to catch up with this. I doubt the ravens even make it to the Super Bowl.
  19. I understand that. I would still prefer Pittsburgh to get their sixth lost today. I don’t worry about Cleveland winning out. Also, if Pittsburgh loses next week to Arizona they will be pretty much out of it. I’d rather have the bills visit Pittsburgh in that context.
  20. Agree. Their recent flash was a chimera. But I want them to win today. Pitt is more of a problem for us
  21. It’s close but I think a Pittsburgh loss helps us more. Cleveland is on a roll but I can’t see them winning out. I would rather hang another loss on Pittsburgh than worry about the Browns going 10-6
