  1. Top 3 for me. Bryce Hall Amik Robertson John Simpson
  2. High floor... but low ceiling in my opinion. I think he'll be solid, but not double digit sack guy. Crazy strong. But too slow to be a dynamic pass rusher. I have mixed feelings about this pick. My initial reaction was to groan when i saw the pick. But, Beane is the GM of an nfl franchise. I'm just a dude who loves football. I want to be wrong.
  3. Couldn't agree with you more on Kristian Fulton, and Jaylon Johnson. Love these 2 guys more than any of the other 1st round CBs except Okudah. I'm on board with one of these 2 guys if they're there at 54. I think Edge rusher and CB2 are our biggest needs right now. I really don't want Gross-Matos. The only edge I like in this spot is Terrell Lewis.
  4. We certainly don't need any starters from this draft. This is nice. However, there are some starters that I would like draftees to be able to supplant this year. Namely, I'd like a CB2, edge rusher, and interior O-line to come from this draft.
  5. Even though I think CB2 is a big need. This would be a great draft to start off with.
  6. Maybe so on Milano over Dawkins. It's possible, I won't count anything out. But he'd have to ball out. As it is, Milano is a better LBer than Dawkins is an LT, but LT is just so valuable to a football team's success.
  7. I really like Milano. But I don't see the Bills signing him to an extension. It's all about allocation of resources. The salary cap is a finite number. Tre and Dawkings are going to average 35 - 40 million total. Milano will require a lot of money to re-sign. Not LT or CB money. But it will be a significant number. You want to keep your own, but you can't re-sign everyone.
  8. I'm not high on Epenesa either. the guy is strong as an ox...the problem is that moves like an ox plowing a field. I don't see him getting a lot of consistent pressure on the QB in the pros (Of course, I'm not a scout or GM). So what is he in the NFL? A run-stopping DE in a 4-3 on obvious running downs? Kicked inside to DT on obvious passing downs? Do you spend a high draft pick on him if he really is one of these two things. The guy has the strength and skill to play in the NFL. Probably great as a back-up because his floor is pretty high. But I wouldn't want to use a 1st or 2nd on him since I can't see that much of a ceiling.
  9. Terrific balance! You can't teach that.
  10. I hear you there. I won't speak for anyone else, but my concern isn't, "who covers for Allen if he fails?" My concern is, "who covers for Allen if he gets injured? I wouldn't say QB2 is a huge need. But I'd say it is a need. Can Barkley win a few games if needed? I'm not sure.
  11. Dugger's college competition is what worries most people out there, me included. But damn, it is fun watching his highlights. Looks like a man playing against a PeeWee football team. I'm going to be keeping an eye on his career even if he's not with the Bills.
  12. He IS what many want Duke to be. Big, fast receiver who can high-point the ball.
  13. This team certainly looks better on paper. Now it's up to the coaches to get them to play as a team. I believe they will. Success still hinges on Josh Allen taking a big step this year. His willingness to be coaches and make changes to his game gives me hope that he'll improve. With this roster, we don't need him to be great just yet. But he becomes a genuinely "good" quarterback, this team will win a lot of games. He's not there yet, so winning the division is not a foregone conclusion. But it is a pretty decent bet.
  14. They got rid of so many players last year. But that core played hard for Flores down the stretch. They got better as the season moved along.
  15. Agreed. I'm not as bullish, as many others are, about our chances to take the division. We should be in the hunt. But the pats wiil still be tough (is Dalton that much of a step down from the current Brady). And I expect the dolphins to be a lot better next year. You'll hear no sh!+ talking from me about the current state of the pats. Though I'm hoping we stomp them into the ground.
  16. Am I alone in wanting him to stay in New England? I want to beat the Patriots with Brady. This isn't a guarantee that we would have, but that's what I would like to see.
  17. I still think about Sam Cowart sometimes. What a damn shame his injury was. He didn't look like he would be good, he looked like he was going to be great. We'll never know. That last game against the Bucs...wow. He was a grown man playing football against a bunch of boys. Cheers to Sam Cowart.
  18. Agree completely. These guys are so slow. And I'm not just talking the 40. They look slow during the game. Epenesa is crazy strong which helps him against college kids. But he moves like Godzilla and pro linemen will control him with technique and strength. Just my opinion.
  19. Your mock has us missing out on all the guys I would want at 22. Except Mims. I'd be okay with trading down in that scenario.
  20. I can see free agency being pretty similar to that. But I just don't see why people are high on Gross-Matos. He seems to play slow. And he gets sacks when the lineman misses a block. Just my opinion. But that's what I saw of Matos. I would hate the pick... Until he proved me wrong.
  21. I seem to remember reading that the new CBA includes changes to the tagging system to make it more player friendly.
  22. Agree completely. Ruggs and Mims are my 2 favorite wrs. I think they're the 2 best fits for the Bills. Despite his size, Ruggs had a great catch radius. This is what Allen, who struggles with accuracy at times, needs. Mims has jump ball skills and also makes tough catches. We all saw how Allen tried getting Duke the ball. Mims is what we all wish Duke could be.
  23. 6 seasons, 32 sacks. Highest sack number was 9.5. He wants top 5 money?
  24. I agree with you. But I was referring to Beasley apparently being pissed when the cowboys signed Cobb instead of extending him.
