You know all it takes is one sideline guy to scream it, and then every DB screams to each other. Wonder what happened?? Crickets, like the non-squib kick last January at Arrowhead..?
-
Blitz. You have to bring a guy off that corner. DB, and interchange Edmunds and Milano at times for a different look, so you can run Edmunds off that edge as well. With pressure from that side, forcing QB towards gigantically long Rousseau is a good situation. But will they do that — No. Least creative pre-snap defense around.

Lewis should have been swinging an invisible axe from his right to left as the ball was getting to Jefferson’s finger tips. It’s completely unforgettable.

Playoff Mindset...the Enemy is...us

Absolutely the reason to NOT relax. One thing I do like this season is winning the gutty close games. I took them in the regular season because those games can go either way and the NFL season is an absolute grind. But at home against that ^^^^ I hate it, in the almighty playoffs…. Not relaxed one bit. -

Why I’m I counting 8 losses in the last 30 games played? -
Because Lewis didn’t knock the ball down and out of bounds on 4th & 18? That one. The one that contributed to cost the Bills the 1 seed? The poorly played, and most likely poorly coached jump ball. But hey, if he intercepted it, the Bills would have lost field position. Wait, that’s bad too.

Wow, must have improved her serve tremendously! -
Arm was moving up, not at the torque point like during the Jets game.

@rochesterfan Explain, Coach. This defensive is built for a dominant middle linebacker, like McDermott had at Carolina. Well, Edmunds isn’t that,, so what are we talking about here..

love it. But I do not

EASILY THE SECOND LEAST PLAYER WE COULD HAVE AFFORDED TO LOSE THIS SEASON. HA!
-
He sure as ***** does. It’s like he knows what to do with the football all the time. His sacks are smart too. He doesn’t lose the ball, he plays another play. The comparison is these big three, and it’s fair to like some thing more from some guys than others. I like a lot of what Burrow has upstairs. Not his fault he made Chase so freaking good in College that the Bengals had to have him.
-
Haters, if you can’t appreciate how Joe Burreaux has figured out how to play NFL football at this high a level after only one year starting in College, a knee hurt rookie year, and a new offensive line, IN CINCINNATI, then I just don’t know what to tell you.

Tonight we saw how a team that (only) scored 31 points controlled the game completely with HOW they play offense. It seems the Bills score 34 and they have no control of the game.

Drafting and FA aren’t coming during these playoffs. Where’s are heads ladies and gentlemen? We need to fix things this week, and beyond into these playoffs. What can be fixed? If it’s just one of those issues, we’re in big trouble. I’m hoping it’s more run schemes, and more timing routes. The deep ball is there — It’s not a weakness unless it’s overused. Defensively, I’ll take getting to the QB. I don’t think our DBs can stick long enough without pressure. Love the game management/timeout improvements — that’s a must have!

I think we want to know why we can’t play against a team with no defense. Or why we get tackled all the time.
-
This game really got played into Edmunds’s hands. Miami had no running game. And Edmunds’s job was to back up, and move up to hit an RB check down, or run side to side to RB screens, or get as deep as possible to cover the under of Waddle and Hill (which I think he did very well today). His run game defensive — hitting holes and making tackles for losses — is what kills me with him. He’s never doing that. This game, it wasn’t needed, thanks god.
-
Exactly. And we have a turnover problem at QB. Who can deny this isn’t happening, and it’s not very very concerning?
-
By all means, add your own issues. Which of these things get fixed during these playoffs? Very unrealistic they answer all of them. These are issues of coaching and players. I see players making as many mistakes as coaches, whether talent or mental. • Allen getting the ball out, hitting more timing routes with receivers slanting/moving on reception • Offensive line gives Allen more time to load up and comfortably complete 25+ darts • More screen throws to RB and Knox • More schemed runs instead of up the middle into a pile • Tighter coverage in secondary • No over the top plays like Miami should’ve completed multiple times • Edmunds playing pro bowl ball • Defensive front getting home and collapsing pocket • Blitzing Which issues can realistically be addressed this week in practice,,/!: going forward after a win?

Mental toughness - a very important characteristic
Thrivefourfive replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills better have that mental edge over LAC! How much more playoff and good regular season game win experience do the Bills have? Sure the Bills avoided a disaster collapse today against THAT Miami team. Believe me, nobody in LA is surprised the Chargers lost it. But at least look at who they lost it to compared to who the Bills ALMOST lost it too. Chargers beat the Dolphins by 24, and the Bills lose to Jacksonville by 17, with all things being equal this weekend. -
I like McDermott. Not calling for his head or anything. But what Daboll has done in NYG with that roster is better than what McD has done this year. Allen’s regressed, and the offense doesn’t know an easy slant from its ass, and McD’s hand over the defensive/Frazier still isn’t good enough.
-
I can’t watch this. Daboll calling a real NFL game. Feliciano pulling and blasting for an NFL looking rushing play. Allen throwing picks and bobbling center exchanges to the Vikings, costing us the 1 seed. I can’t. I won’t!
