  1. I am concerned about Allen not taking the easy stuff when the longer stuff doesn’t work. I don’t say that lightly, because one of the things I love about 17 is that he pushes the ball down the field. After 20 years of Bills QBs not having anything close to resembling a vert passing attack, I’ll always root for driving it down field. But there needs to be more happy medium. 41 was wide open on the endzone incompletion to 10.
  2. That was an ####### move by an ####### guy
  3. He should be happy with whatever is fair. He ain’t great.
  4. Before next weeks round 1, please install sensors under every field to recognize foot pressure.. no more skimming long or short turf blades to determine TDs. NFL, listening? Get ‘er done
  5. This isn’t Cincinnati, yet the Patriots WRs are shown the respect of Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and ol’ Kippy Kipperson.
  6. I’m not too sharp, but based on that chart doesn’t KC stand the most to lose? They have a greater chance at the 1 seed (which they’d mathematically own) and an equal chance, with the Bills, at hosting the AFC title game. So the league is favoring KC’s 1, and giving love to the Bills if they get to the tile game. All along I said KC can have the 1, but the AFCCG should be in Buffalo (if they win Sunday).
  7. It’s just men talking about men playing a kids game. But duly noted, sir.
  8. Hello!! THEY PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.. Duhhh
  9. There’s something I want to say about this. The Bengals were no more guaranteed to win Monday than the Bills would’ve been, at that point in the game. Sure they looked good throwing the ball to start the game. But Buffalo should have scored a TD not a FG, and the game could have, and probably would have been, a blazing shoot out, with Buffalo having a better run game of late. The Bills have losses by 2, 3, and 3 points. No way the Bengals were on their way to blowing Buffalo off the field Monday Night, which seems to be a line of thinking that’s crept into some people’s logic about what’s fair and not fair for the Bengals. A turnover here or there.. anything can happen. The Bills don’t lie down and die. Just want to point that out.
  10. Why not just wait until things shake out Sunday night. The Chiefs and Bengals are far from a lock to win this week (Bills are of course 😚)
  11. Calm in check. Got a little fired up there I suppose.
  12. What ifff… Chiefs 14-3, Bills 13-3, Bengals 12-4 KC gets the bye as the 1 seed, but Buffalo Hosts the AFCCG because they kicked their ass earlier in the year, and are gonna kick their asses again in late Jan. How bout that?
  13. Got no argument from me there. The Bengals SCARE me if Burrow is just gonna stand back there like it’s LSU vs whoever that year. I’ll go back and look (no I won’t), but I believe the ball Higgins caught was on Tre, and then Higgins runs like a deer, and that’s when I’m like… they’re just picking on #27. I could be wrong though on that. Not really motivated to go back and review the play. If Chase can do whatever he wants, and Higgins is a definite size and speed mismatch, well something’s gotta be done about that by the smart football coaches at OBD.
  14. Can some of you more “wise” members here recall the situation with the Sabres goalie in the late 80s? The stories told down my family tree is that the Sabres trainer was a Vietnam War Med vet, and because of his experience with trauma situations in the war, he stuck his fingers in Malarchuk’s neck and pinched the artery and saved his life. Not trying to veer the thread : just recognize the small company who simply save Buffalo players lives over the years.
  15. Absolutely hear ya. Never saw him as a freak inception ball hawk though.. if I remember he missed bringing in balls that other dudes make. Would he have been a great, or as great, a safety as he was a corner back in 2021 — sure. Now though? I’m afraid he’s bad as both. And there isn’t time for patience now. The Bengals were not looking too afraid of Tre on Monday. They were eating him for five whole minutes. Chiefs and Bengals. Mahomes and Burrow.. that’s gonna be a problem right now.
  16. I dunno.. he’s at his best when he’s stuck on the WR. I see him get lost in space.
  17. Right now, the teams that know what’s up, will pick on Tre : Until he can prove they can’t. I don’t see New England picking on Tre to win that game, or Baltimore, or Tennessee in the playoffs being capable of exploiting him. But the other playoff teams.. the Bills have to figure out the problem (which I’m hoping they’ve at least admitted it). As for retiring.. HA! Good one. He’ll be better next year. If he’s not, then it’s time to look at departure.
  18. The Bengals plan was to throw at Tre. First play, on. When I saw him at the bottom of the screen in front of Higgins, that’s where Burrow went. It was going to a loooong night for the Bills pass defensive on Monday — unless they somehow started getting home on Burrow which I don’t think would’ve happened because CIN WRs were open a second after the snap.
  19. https://youtu.be/7NwCCrzarZs I’ll watch it all every two years or so
  20. Emotions are still raw. But football will be played. And since football will be played, you do that instead of a coin toss. You figure out a schedule. It’s either a no contest, or they play the game, sometime. My original schedule would’ve been Bills vs Bengals on Thursday, and these two teams get the remainder of their games pushed back a little until Conference Championship Sunday. But that’s obviously not on the table now. By Thursday, we are going to know more about Hamlin’s status. The two teams already have their game plans set, and although it will SUCK, they play — because both teams are going to play eventually anyways. I still think Thursday should've (could have?) been discussed. What if Damar is headed in the right direction, God willing. These guys would focus and play. They pretty much have to. Stefon Diggs valiantly and soulfully tried to pull his teammates out of hell after the tragedy to get their heads into competing. But understandably, he was as overcome by the circumstances as millions are. I have so much respect for Diggs at this point. He’s the right teammate at the right time. I see a Super Bowl MVP Trophy this February on his mantle.
  21. Draft positions for the conceding teams’ opponents would absolutely be at stake.
  22. Gotta stop with the coin flip scenario. Nobody is flipping a coin with a player in Hamlin’s condition. This isn’t for home field for round 1 of D5 CIF Southern Section. Stop with the coin flip.. it’s no way to handle a situation like this.
  23. If I lost, you would’ve read about that instead.
  24. I didn’t want to talk about fantasy football tonight, but I won my championships on THAT play. I was down 1.7, and Higgins is the only player either of us had tonight. With Higgins rec and 13 yards, I won. Now that’s some *****. But I don’t know now complicated this gets if the game is actually canceled instead of being suspended/delayed as is currently the case.
  25. Finish this game Thursday. Push back Buffalo and Cincy’s week 18 games to Tuesday. Push back Buffalo and Cincy’s playoff games to Monday. Then make sure they play the following Sunday. The season will go on. The Bills will have to take the field again, even if the worst happens with #3. The games will have to be played.
