Sitcom title for Buffalo Bills football is “McDermott Knows Best” But does he? He hasn’t yet, and we are entering a time when a great TV series warps up their successful run.

SEPT. 28: Around the NFL, other games.Thrivefourfive replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in The Stadium Wall Imagine being a Cowboys fan and listening to that insane take. “We gonna get more players.” Thats wonderful Mr. Jones. We all trust 100% to run this team, into the ground.

Too few men in the locker room. He gives complimentary post game speeches with the stadium staff. They tumble in when they hear his claps 👏 👏 👏

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)Thrivefourfive replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Ravens had to play the Bills and Chiefs on the road in first month of season. Sucks for them..

9/28/2025 Bills vs Saints post game threadThrivefourfive replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall We are so undersized on defense, especially the second and third level. We love Bernard, but are we serious here. He's a slow strong safety playing in the middle. How long’s that going to last. Benford is normal sized. Everyone else… literally all the 7on7 defenders are tiny. The defense pretty much stinks. We were finger tipping inch away from trailing, at home, in the fourth quarter, against THAT team and QB. The defense stinks.

Nice to know the OP is pulling the strings at OBD. Now that you got your turnover, and you’ve washed away that silly -Allen don’t get sacked- uselessness, I say you enact the “Stop the run!” Defense, and implement thee “Can get short yardage” play callings. Ya know, really mix it up.

9/28/2025 Bills vs Saints 2nd half game threadThrivefourfive replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall We are who we are at this point. Gonna take change to change it 1. can’t get a yard because every single short yardage play is to a clogged middle 2. can’t stop the run 3. mismanage timeouts because of defensive ineptitude or unpreparedness. 4. scores 30 points

Should refs be tested for steroids/PEDs?Thrivefourfive replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall They are 😂 This isn’t the Supreme Court.

Should refs be tested for steroids/PEDs?Thrivefourfive replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall The roided refs like to throw all the flags too. Understandable. It is weird though that they take forever and a day to spit out the penalty call. Our guy here in the Saints @ Bills game is a little man buff man. Complex

Should refs be tested for steroids/PEDs?Thrivefourfive replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall YES! I’m having fun watching every single game in the 80s on the YouTubes. Watched in humor a judge hustle is old ass off getting the ball spotted during a two minute drill. I was rooting for the fella!

NFL play calling tendencies through 3 weeksThrivefourfive replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Dallas must have a helluva running game to threaten pass action so often.. always playing catchup.. 🙂↔️ I’m all for believing Brady is outwitting the NfL Andy Reid style, but we couldn’t get a yard or two last season at the end, and we haven’t been able to do it this season. So what’s up with that?

First ballot HOF players playing nowThrivefourfive replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall (we need an “I, love you, you’re a great person, but would like to counter your point , instead of the I HATE YOU! red X) Russell Wilson Jr. III was gifted one of the greatest defenses in history to allow his cute little curly haired ass to tuck it and Boston Dynamics stride to a slide, or touch heaven with sky balls of all yardages. Nah, not before Jim McMahon, for so many reasons.

There’s a thing here though. Kamara’s run up to those big big numbers, he did that in the same career years # that Cook has already completed and is in now. First four seasons. Then the tail starts shedding. It’s hard to say that if Kamara and Cook started at the same time, Cook and Kamara would be in their respective primes right now, then Kamara would go into decline (which is what happened) and Cook’s career would ascend to the point of surpassing Kamara’s incomparable first four seasons? The likelihood is that Cook declines just as Kamara did after his fourth season, and really just about every back not named E. SMITH, Barry, Henry and those type of Hall of Fame freaks. For the rest of his long career, Kamara would be very good. I’m tempted to accept THIS season as Cook’s career year, and I would ***** up Kamara’s post-prime production to be Cook’s future in a deal with the devil in a heartbeat. Here’s why. Cook is smaller and takes a beating because of 1. His size; 2. Playing outdoors (not a dome), in the cold (not in domes), and in an east division (not the sunny south); 3. He’s going to play in a lot of playoff games, and they’ll most likely be of the three+ game post season variety, and cold; and, 4. why not.. the 17th game.. just one more opportunity to take a beating, maybe even a catastrophic one. On top of all that, Kamara had genius Peyton and genius Brees, who didn’t run for nuts. Kamara got more footballs to play with. It’s cool that Cook hasn’t been chewed up and spat out yet. I like that. But it appears he’s getting chewed up and spit out this season, right before our very eyes. He’s team coMVP with JA17 if you ask me. Let’s say the saved wear n tear (is it really though.. given his size..) extends his prime years, what, a season or two? Then we probably have a steeper decline compared to Kamara because of all the stuff listed here. Buttttttt, who the hell really knows..

Kamara is a big guy for those that aren’t familiar. And sometimes he plays small. He skips out of bound which is fine, but I wouldn’t say he fights for yards in a scuffle. Cook fights. Kamara usually takes first contact and then jumps/drives forward. I swear sometimes he’ll try to go down and actually gets bounced back on his feet by an hard hitting defender, and he gains a second burst on those runs. He’s a sure handed receiver, and is super skilled at popping open in traffic at the line to catch something. He’s a nice decisive one cut route runner. But sometimes he’ll run off into the flat when it seems like he needed to keep himself in to pass block. His prime is far superior to anything Cooks has put on tape for a season. YET!! I Hope Jimbo gets the best of him tomorrow. Defense..??!!! Looking at ya.

Is MHjr going to be wasted in Zona? I can see him forcing his way out when he gains some leverage. Not signing that second contract with them. Cardinals ALWAYS rate poorly in a lot of categories dealing with organizational competence. His dad advises him to go find a great QB in a low key situation. Beane’s got a plan. The man with the plan!!

Ya know. We may have drafted the guy that’s gonna stand out on this defense. I’m talking Neon Deion “Primetime” Sanders here. We desperately need a player who looks deferent out there. Sauce Gardner looked different for a while. Kyle Hamilton looks different. Benford is so solid, but he doesn’t jump off the screen. Maybe Hairston can stalk WRs and grab ball and dazzle with returns for TDs. Maybe he does these things often enough for this defense to have something special, the thing they’ve missed on for years. The thing that makes it a co-headliner in Buffalo. We know we gotta have it. Haven’t had it. And haven’t won it. Maybe Mad A$$ Max is it, and can get us the ultimate “it”.

One thing’s for sure. Ain’t ever going back to red helmets. Those get a charity date with the Jets in the outgoing reg season game. That’s all folks. Guess we can thank them for that if you’re a red helmet fan, or not. So, of the team’s going combos, this week is Tops. All blues are growing on me though

Way too early look at the 2026 draftThrivefourfive replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall It’s linebacker and it’s gotta hit. Which I think goes against the Bills four year plan that started with the 2025 draft. Hammer defense 2025. WR for 2026, and more of a balance between offense and defense. They may have to delay help for Josh until the 2027 draft.

Funny. During the Goff interview I had to stop and remember that he just played in an outstanding, emotional, high stakes road win. Guy seemed like he just parked his car and was strolling into the office on any Tuesday morning. I think I would’ve had five attacks just being a Lions fan in the stands, let alone the damn leader of the pride.

There’s just no way Lamar feels comfortable smiling on a billboard. Probably an introvert. He’s always covering up when doing interviews.. hoods, face mask, chin strap over his eyes. It is what it is. At least he’s genuine. I’d rather have that than a fake phony fraud leading my team. I’d rather root for Josh and the Bills than against Lamar. Can’t say the same for #15 though.
