  1. Isn’t Kiper’s love affair with Sanders strange? He talks him up like he’s special—like Sanders has PROVEN that he’s special. Sanders hasn’t proven anything to deserve that praise in that way. Just hasn’t.
  2. So Hunter is gonna want to play full time WR right? Why wouldn’t he if he’s equally ranked #1 at both positions. The money surge is substantial between the two. But the Bills would want him at corner. So this is a non starter I believe. Again, we all understand we’re not getting either of these two dudes. I think it’s clear that the Bills need to invest in a game wrecking defensive line presence. How long do you have to wait until we have a defender who can hold JA17’s jock (strap)?? Is this another year gone by without that guy that brings us glory on the final drive versus the Chiefs? Hell, if we had that guy in that embarrassing Give-away first down on the Chiefs run-out-the-clock 1st down (or all the other super easy nine yard gains in that game last year)….. WE NEED TO GIVE ALLEN MORE POSSESSIONS AT THE EMD OF GAMES
  3. Meet Draft Day, everyone! A’ MERRY DRAFT DAY INDEED!!!
  4. Can’t wait to see the thread tonight on our draft pick!!! I read reading through the drafted player thread.. that’s really how I get to know our new guys 😊 is that why we get run over? 🤔🤣 Yeah, no more tweezers, McBeane. We need an All Pro, and they’re just aren’t many undersized AP’s
  5. It’s a complicated situation. He’s crazy for asking for $15m per, and I understand the crowd that doesn’t even want to give him $10m, but I don’t agree that a blanket strategy should be used for this. We are so so close, and he’s by far the best we have after Allen. I’ve said all along that this deal won’t kill the future. In this case, Beane has to make it work somehow. Cook has to play for the Bills all season. I don’t like rearranging the deck at this position and losing that guy headed into—- the best chance to win a SB since 1991.
  6. I’d contend that even with shutdown corners, the Bills line isn’t getting home. The Eagles had better D Lineman and a better DC scheme. Wasn’t just the press man.
  7. So you don’t extend him at all? I hear you, but that can’t be a hard and fast rule, right. We want players of Cook’s caliber. Can’t have them knowing they’re never getting paid though.
  8. He’s been running hard. Been running smart too. If we lose him, I’ll always think we got cheated if he goes into to have two more ascending seasons. Also think we’ll have to look at RB differently so this sorta thing is prepped for. Or maybe it already is.. Draft an RB and expect to either pay him after year three, or have a plan to deal with the upcoming royal rumble
  9. Trading Cook. I’d feel pretty empty if that goes down this weekend
  10. Hunter can absolutely play 10 offense snaps for the Bills. Not that hard.. like a special teamer. And if the Bills are that good, he doesn’t play full games hopefully. I don’t consider that as a negative in this Carter vs Hunter scenario. Actually it’s a plus for Hunter. But I still want Carter more.
  11. Those guys are supposed to be workhorses. If it’s Cook compared to those two RBs, I can’t believe an NFL team would choose Cook, not taking into account the money. These are top picks we’re talking here. Hypothetically if Cook were in this draft, and teams already knew of Cook’s NFL success ((and limitations and the inside story to all those TDs)) not a team takes Cook over the other two players. They’re a tier above and are being drafted like it. Then the money.. age.. wear. If tables were turned, would we want the Bills to acquire Cook instead of (probably stupidly) drafting Jeanty and Hampton? If my GM was dead set on drafting one of those two guys, I wouldn’t want to trade for a more expensive Cook as a “better deal”.
  12. This golf fan has seen enough of John Rahm, so ain’t a must watch.
  13. Why would either of the two rumored RB draft teams—Raiders and Cowboys—choose to pay an RB, Cook, who’s not as good as the cheap guy they’re about to draft 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Why???
  14. Would like to know where the board stands on who should the Bills draft (huge if I know) if they had these two players in front of them Thursday night.
  15. Catch 22. I’m not scared of him vs the Bills so he can stay put for all I care. Probably also makes the Phins worse if he leaves. Then there’s the: it’s the correct move for the organization (and Hill leaving) and I don’t like seeing that at all.
  16. Can we all agree that there’s no jump from #30 to #4? There would be a few steps in between.. 30 to 20 to 10 to whatever. That’s how it happens.
  17. I wasn’t at the Comeback but I stayed at the edge of my seat knowing the Bills were gonna win, after the pick 6. Promise
  18. Is he worth what? He’s not a problem. is he worth the money? What money? His idea for a contract, or what he should be paid? I think he’s worth a three/four year deal. At this point, I don’t care if Beane gives him at extra $10mil over that deal, if that’s what it takes. Again, Beane can’t in the franchise by paying Cook. But I’m guessing Beane will get him something he’s happy with. I’m not going to project on whether the money goes to his head. Just don’t want to go there.
  19. Kelly had a stronger arm than Marino. Ask Dan. Elway had one of the strongest arms ever. Just dislikin’ and typin’, @buffblue
  20. Right, everything in this thread is a hot take. That’s the topic. So everything we should state is a hot take. My hot take post in the hot take thread was a personal opinion stated, because that’s what a hot take is: a personal opinion. 🤣🤣 I kid I kid. But you understand.. (hot take) Nah. His arm strength and quick decision making. It’s cool he was tough. Very cool. But he could spin it at the Rich, and that isn’t easy. If he couldn’t do that, wouldn’t have matter if he was John McPhee tough… he woulda been out of Buffalo in three seasons.
  21. it’s a…. Hot Take. am I not doing this right? I see posters getting all bent out of shape here 🤣 It’s a good thing, I guess, that we’re not all desensitized by Cowturd or Skip. I guess we’re dumb here too 🤣🤣 They should let Live From present the Jacket. Nantz and the Chairman.. boooorrrriiiinnnggg
  22. Kelly held his own. That wasn’t an easy locker room. Nobody ever questioned who the Bills quarterback was, and tried to kick him out the door and rebuild with a big draft day splash. He was used up when he retired, but it says a lot I think that the Bills were at home in the playoffs and a decent favorite for his very last game. The game as a mess and ended his career, but I think he gets some nice bonus points for that, and not having two abysmal seasons end his career, which seriously could’ve happened in Buffalo. We’ll see with how Josh’s career.. Jimbo was.. kinda George Washingtonesque doing is a favorite and walking away. We had one Todd Collins season and then were right back with Johnson/Flutie/Defense.
  23. Newly hired special teams coach comes in and dismantles the points division of the ST. That man better have a plan besides a draftee and/or Matt Gay. We’re not the Browns here.
