They could had Sanders… if they weren’t the Dophins. Took too long to get the job done Whack!

Bills should draft Grant’s mom at #30

I don’t care. bills can’t threaten the QB anyways 🤣

I’ll say it. This makes a lot of sense for JAX and Cleveland. Good trade. Cleveland makes picks like this and has lost their asses for how long now? They pick a #2 guy, and kinda blow it somehow, or blow talent away in several ways. Hunter is a star, and they don’t do stars. (Garrett is relatively very low key nationwide; Hunter is being that Noah Lyle’s smile and his new bestie LeBron James to a TV billboard near you.) They had a good roster a few years ago, and I think they can get back there in 24 months. Skipping Hunter and taking more “controllable” team/talented guys. This fits HC’s MO, who I think is an excellent—excellent!—organizational guy. Cleveland is lucky to have that coach. Seems all in line to me. Jacksonville. Why not? New regime wants to splash out on Draft Night. Makes a ton of sense. Good on them for not letting word out (🤣🤣). But Hunter could be in on that narrative tooooo. He’s a character, man. Hunter can rule the roost in Florida, and the front office/owner can get buzzed at 1pm every Sunday afternoon and dream of Hunter in London. 🎻

Isn’t Kiper’s love affair with Sanders strange? He talks him up like he’s special—like Sanders has PROVEN that he’s special. Sanders hasn’t proven anything to deserve that praise in that way. Just hasn’t.

So Hunter is gonna want to play full time WR right? Why wouldn’t he if he’s equally ranked #1 at both positions. The money surge is substantial between the two. But the Bills would want him at corner. So this is a non starter I believe. Again, we all understand we’re not getting either of these two dudes. I think it’s clear that the Bills need to invest in a game wrecking defensive line presence. How long do you have to wait until we have a defender who can hold JA17’s jock (strap)?? Is this another year gone by without that guy that brings us glory on the final drive versus the Chiefs? Hell, if we had that guy in that embarrassing Give-away first down on the Chiefs run-out-the-clock 1st down (or all the other super easy nine yard gains in that game last year)….. WE NEED TO GIVE ALLEN MORE POSSESSIONS AT THE EMD OF GAMES

Bills Related Draft News & Discussion

Can’t wait to see the thread tonight on our draft pick!!! I read reading through the drafted player thread.. that’s really how I get to know our new guys 😊 is that why we get run over? 🤔🤣 Yeah, no more tweezers, McBeane. We need an All Pro, and they’re just aren’t many undersized AP’s -
It’s a complicated situation. He’s crazy for asking for $15m per, and I understand the crowd that doesn’t even want to give him $10m, but I don’t agree that a blanket strategy should be used for this. We are so so close, and he’s by far the best we have after Allen. I’ve said all along that this deal won’t kill the future. In this case, Beane has to make it work somehow. Cook has to play for the Bills all season. I don’t like rearranging the deck at this position and losing that guy headed into—- the best chance to win a SB since 1991.
-
So you don’t extend him at all? I hear you, but that can’t be a hard and fast rule, right. We want players of Cook’s caliber. Can’t have them knowing they’re never getting paid though.
-
He’s been running hard. Been running smart too. If we lose him, I’ll always think we got cheated if he goes into to have two more ascending seasons. Also think we’ll have to look at RB differently so this sorta thing is prepped for. Or maybe it already is.. Draft an RB and expect to either pay him after year three, or have a plan to deal with the upcoming royal rumble

What is your draft doomsday scenario?
Thrivefourfive replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Trading Cook. I’d feel pretty empty if that goes down this weekend -
Hunter can absolutely play 10 offense snaps for the Bills. Not that hard.. like a special teamer. And if the Bills are that good, he doesn’t play full games hopefully. I don’t consider that as a negative in this Carter vs Hunter scenario. Actually it’s a plus for Hunter. But I still want Carter more.

Those guys are supposed to be workhorses. If it’s Cook compared to those two RBs, I can’t believe an NFL team would choose Cook, not taking into account the money. These are top picks we’re talking here. Hypothetically if Cook were in this draft, and teams already knew of Cook’s NFL success ((and limitations and the inside story to all those TDs)) not a team takes Cook over the other two players. They’re a tier above and are being drafted like it. Then the money.. age.. wear. If tables were turned, would we want the Bills to acquire Cook instead of (probably stupidly) drafting Jeanty and Hampton? If my GM was dead set on drafting one of those two guys, I wouldn’t want to trade for a more expensive Cook as a “better deal”.

This golf fan has seen enough of John Rahm, so ain’t a must watch.

Why would either of the two rumored RB draft teams—Raiders and Cowboys—choose to pay an RB, Cook, who’s not as good as the cheap guy they’re about to draft 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Why???
