  1. Only way the Bills win the division is by beating the Patriots and knocking Brady out from playing week-17.
  2. Rex was a cancer on that defense. Any half-competent coach could have gotten allstar level performances from GIlmore. Rex had a terrible scheme and no vision that caused everyone on that D to look poor.
  3. I would propose that you only get a home game from winning the division if you also reach 9-wins.
  4. I no longer have any fear for missing the playoffs with Derrick Henry's new hamstring injury.
  5. Ah damn, I mixed up the next tie-breaker... best W/L within the conference. Thx
  6. For those plays to churn out TDs, you need a combination of a mistake from your opponent, great simultaneous play by multiple Bills, and some luck. It's not concerning, it's just the reality of how typical these plays are in general.

  8. The 'must be clear to reverse/grant a first down call' rule has always been there. It's supposed to deter coaches from wasting time on meaningless 1-yard challenges that don't impact anything. In the end, they could have moved the ball 1-yard and it still would have been a 1st down. The PI was nothing even close to warrant a discussion based on how they've reviewed those instances this year.
  9. I edited my earlier response, it probably makes sense to change the rule.. I doubt it will happen because it seems like even changes that are good ideas get squashed into the bargaining chips argument.
  10. It was a poor decision to challenge the first down. There needs to be clear evidence not only that the spot is wrong, but that it would result in a change to the decision of a 1st down or not. The spot was terrible, but it was still likely a first down.. hence the poor decision by BB. But to your point, the "2-win challenge rule for a 3rd" was initially put in place when challenges were first brought back to the league due to worries of impact to game flow that could result from so many challenges... now with all scoring plays, all turnovers, and inside 2-minutes requiring an automatic challenge, the game flow has been totally F'd so why not do what you're saying.
  11. No doubt Peters knew the route and did his homework leading up to the game.
  12. Did he though?? I couldn't tell, I was coming to this forum to confirm. It looked like the ball got to Brown to me. Tight defense non the less.
  13. Couldn't tell from the replay, but was that a drop by Brown on the final play? Definitely tight coverage, but the ball looked to be perfectly thrown, and not outlandish to expect an NFL caliber receiver to make the catch.
  14. Wind led to inconsistent balls thrown early on in the game, and I feel like this led to some drops later once Josh started to get it together.. Couple that with a few mistakes vs a defense that's playing lights out and that's what you get. Grand scheme of things, the Pats loss keeps the division title in reach, so can't be too upset!
  15. All thoughts do not need to become posts on the internet.
  16. I'm gonna get the ***** JETS game prioritized where I am. Last week we played on thanks giving. Did they show Bills/Denver game over the Jets?
  17. What if making the kick had the opposite reaction. Bills go into a superbowl hangover, miss the playoffs next year, slowly decline, never build up the amazing fan base that resulted from 4 consecutive super bowl appearances... Eventually there isn't enough fan base to support the team and the Bills get moved! Beware the butterfly effect!
  18. You can either simulate his speed or his size/strength, but not both.
  19. Zero chance that he's bitter. He made the decision to retire.
  20. I can... if it gives the PATs a first round bye and they somehow win another superbowl because of it. Obviously it's impossible to know 'what could have happened', but that's the thought.
  21. Assuming the OP is watching football for the first time this year. No worries bud, we're ok.
  22. The winner between the Cowboys running game and the Bills run defense will win this game.
