    I think you’re right on. The timing won’t work out with all the younger players needing contracts and Josh’s deal kicking in. Would love to keep him but we can’t keep everyone.

    I’m not sure he gets huge money. His QBR in his mvp season was 83.0. Next year 67.3, last year 50.7. His TD/INT ratio was 36-9 in the mvp year, 26-9 the next year and 16-13 last year. I think the league is figuring him out.

    I’m surprised at all the people who want him gone. He made some incredible catches and moves for first downs to keep the chains moving in some important spots.

    The O Line was really good once Bates came in. It really seemed to steady the line and they played really well at the end of the season. On the other hand, we sink almost all of our premium assets into the DLine and it doesn’t seem to get better.
