  1. I don't know. Everyone talking about about Beane's done great and Beane has a big sack, blah blah blah. He's had to pour a huge amount of high draft capital and FA capital into the D Line and it never makes a difference in crunch time. If he had hit on a few more high picks then that might be the difference in the 4th quarter of these close playoff games. He's comparing himself to the patriots with Brady and he hasn't even gotten to the big game. It sounds like he's getting a little too full of himself.
  2. It's weird because in each of the past 2 offseasons it was Beane and McDermott that said they need more speed and more of a downfield threat and then Beane gets upset when asked why they haven't done it.
  3. "We score anytime we wanted"? Pretty sure we wanted to on the last two drives of the last two playoff games.
  4. Everyone saying that we have the highest scoring offense, points per game, ect. Yes, we do but our last two seasons have ended with 17 having the ball in his hands with a chance to win and nobody could get open and/or dropped passes. Beane pointing out the obvious grand slam he hit drafting Allen and ignoring the many high pick whiffs he's had recently I think was wrong.
  5. I usually agree with Beane but other teams keep bolstering their receiving corps and we keep ignoring it and trying to put band-aids on the issue. At some point it's not fair to Josh to keep expecting him to cover up for everything.
  6. QB is the leader and face of the franchise and I don't think teams wanted the headache of a guy who built his own draft room with "legendary" and $$ signs all over it. When he struggles at all, the Deion press conferences blaming the coaching and the GM for not surrounding him with the right players would be too much for most teams.
  7. I'm a little older so I really didn't understand much of what any of them were saying. It didn't sound like english.
  8. I'll show you my high school report card.
  9. According to Over The Cap, just cutting Von is a 6 million dead cap but frees up over 17 million.
  10. Beane has found very productive players later in the draft but really whiffed on the high picks and big money FA's (except Josh). First and second round picks are supposed to be your stars and ours usually aren't.
  11. I wish there were a few more penalties in this game.
  12. Don’t forget when he tried to end Josh’s season with a cheap shot.
  13. I just came here to LOL at the person saying Kelly didn't have a strong arm. You have obviously never seen him play or watched any highlights.
  14. I always try to stay away from the fire McD posts because he has been so successful for us but if we lose a playoff game because of what seem to be simple end of game management issues, it might be time.
  15. Martin seems like he took forever getting that off
  16. "Jimbo becomes Himbo". That's pretty good.
  17. You know every interception that Mahomes throws now will be called back for being a hip drop horsecollar offensive onsides interception so KC gets a free play.
  18. I read the story and the little girl's family is really upset. They were never contacted or anything concerning his commutation. Andy Reid may be a great coach but I have to really question his parenting skills.
  19. Those old astroturf fields, oh man. If you ever got to walk on one it was just a thin layer of carpet and concrete.
  20. I would encourage you to do some research as well. FBI table 43 gives a racial breakdown of crimes each year by race. These stats are from every police agency in the country which are required to submit a UCR (Uniform Crime Report). A rough breakdown is that black men make up just over 6% of the population but commit approximately 55% of violent crimes.
  21. No, that's not the reason.
  22. Everyone dancing around it, I'll say it. Race has a lot to do with Lamar winning MVP. If Josh had Lamar's stats he wouldn't be in the top 20.
  23. I was born and raised in Rochester and lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 25 years. I moved back to Rochester about 4 years ago so I have a pretty good perspective on the two places. Most people who trash Mississippi, including on here, have never even been there. They get their information from tv and movies and assume its just a bunch of white dudes in pickups chasing a black guy trying to beat him. It's not like that at all, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi is nicer than anywhere in western NY. My fathers family is from Bath, NY and I can assure you that driving around the southern tier you will see twice as many confederate flags as in MS. Any black person who has lived in both places will tell you that the racism in the north is way worse than in the south.
