  1. I only read the first half of your post this week...
  2. It's going to be interesting to see who they activate on the DL for this game since they will focus on stopping the run. Phillips and Butler in place of Boogie and Obada?
  3. My solution was to mute the broadcast. I unmuted when the Bills made a good play. I do have to say, both he and Al had no choice but to rave about Allen on the leap2 play.
  4. Here's a snippet from BAldy: Me thinks the OP was being sarcastic...
  5. Love this quote! This is so more than a football team.
  6. He also had a key run stop on a 3rd (or was it a 4th?) down play.
  7. Maybe the third Q. I texted a friend and said it looked like KC new exactly what the Bills would run. Then it looked like Dabol responded in their key leap drive.
  8. While Rousseau stood out, everyone on that DLine had their moment. Only two sacks, but they got constant pressure with zero blitzes. Next, avenge last year's Titan loss...
  9. Ditto. Nickel is a critical position in today’s NFL. Unlike the outside, there is no boundary to use to help you. At this point, I’d like to see them go C/G and RCB in the 2022 draft.
  10. I agree with you, but Since the OP said “besides josh,” I think the pass rush is the next most important factor. I just couldn’t distill it to one person.
  11. Can’t single anyone out, it’s the pass rush. If they don’t get pressure, the Bills don’t win.
  12. That is funny. My kind of pun! Well done sir.
  13. What goes around comes around. Years ago I recall reading a quote by Bill Parcels stating he liked to call draws and screens early in games in order to get the opposing Dline to think about them and maybe cause a little hesitation on the pass rush. Every little advantage helps I guess.
  14. I've been waiting to see him in a meaningful game for a long time. Good game for it.
  15. I stand corrected. tnx
  16. Cody Ford is finally starting to play like a second round pick too.
  17. Yes, new coach but same approach to destroying a rookie QB
  18. My casual observation is that he seems to be better when he is at RDE than LDE, which is where he was on that TD. The only time I keyed on him he nearly got a sack (from the RDE position) after being double-teamed. Last, FWIW, WFT's O-line has given up 1 sack in each game so far.
  19. I hear Maynard G Krebs hangs out there.
  20. I was looking at the Bills' cap situation and just noticed him on the PS--don't know how I missed this addition? I was hoping the Bills would draft him. He was too raw to make the roster, so he ends up where I hoped anyway. Hope they can keep and develop him.
  21. While I’m sure it’s related to his new body, I think he probably put a lot of time into improving it. I remember watching him last year and thinking he was reacting too slow to the snap or movement of the Oline. Not this year.
  22. That is a great quote!
  23. I don't know how they grade their edge rushers, but seeing Epenesa up there gives it some credence. The fortunate son has been been a beast. Relatedly, good call (so far) by Shrager having him as one of his 10 breakout players for 2021.
  24. That play is an example of how McD described him during the preseason. It was a combination of that deceptive speed and great recognition of where Brissett would run—see the Cover1 breakdown post on this play.
  25. Doesn't mean he's gone for good. Kumerow came back.... [after an eventual release]
