  1. I think the roster battle is between Addison and Johnson. Johnson is a key contributor on STs. Addison is done after this year (he may have another year left on contract, but he's done), so if you keep him, then it better be worth losing Johnson. I think Addison will be the odd man out.
  2. Good they took Farley. No way were the Bills taking him with the back issues.
  3. Slater to Chargers it will be
  4. I jinxed him. But happy that Miami won't get Chase.
  5. I was going to try and find your mock in fact!
  6. Bucky Brooks the only one on NFL.com's Mocks to go 4/4.
  7. If next year is going to be a very good draft year, wouldn’t a better strategy be trading back and stockpiling picks for that draft? I did a little trading back on the simulator and picked up an extra R2, 2 R3s, an R4, and an R5. I also picked up depth at cb, wr, S, and ol. So, they could trade all picks this year for one player, or focus on next year and stock the team for a 10-year run?
  8. Man, this is going to be a great week!!
  9. I was thinking about this as well, though with the additional incentive of donating (something like) $10 pp to the winners selected charity? Just a thought.
  10. Two more players to add into the mix in later rounds (R3), Chaz Surrat and my favorite name in the draft Divine Deablo.
  11. The Patriots trade picks 15, 46, 116, 120, 122, 139 and R1 2022 to the Green Bay Packers for A. Rogers.
  12. Good debate through this thread. One thought: I think if Miami drafts Pitts, then it really fortifies the case of selecting someone like JOK. I mentioned Jamin Davis, as I read somewhere that he played well against Pitts. In fact, if Miami gets Pitts, it may push the Bills to go for BOTH an upgrade at boundary CB and hybrid LB/S. I'd wouldn't be unhappy with that.
  13. There's a pretty clear top 21-22, then it gets interesting. OT Slater is in the top 10, btw.
  14. TheAthletic has a very good series by Bob McGinn who interviews scouts and asks them to rank prospects at different positions. It's paywalled. Some telling and related quotes: https://theathletic.com/2541039/2021/04/25/ranking-top-defensive-linemen-in-2021-nfl-draft-bob-mcginns-grades/ Barmore is ranked #1. The biggest issue with the group as a whole and a word used a lot is inconsistency. On Shelvin who was selected in R2 by the TSW 2.0 Mock: On Alim McNeill: An interesting prospect (and my favorite now) projected for R5, Khyiris Tonga:
  15. Just looked him up on Brugler's list, and he has him as an R3 pick, #96 overall. Interesting prospect and good guess.
  16. Thanks for your efforts! Always an enjoyable experience.
  17. How is this possible? The Giants got him trading back with the Ravens in TSW Mock 2.0! @section122 I think our trade worked out to about the same "cost" for Brown.
  18. Wish I could find the article, but I recently read that one of the reasons Jamin Davis is jammin up the rankings is how he was able to stay with Kyle Pitts relatively well. I assume that means he could stay with Kelce?
  19. Tylan Wallace WR from OK State would be on my list, but that's must me.
  20. The Athletic released their top 300 consensus board using over 50 "Big Boards" to compile the list. My feeble attempt using 7 lists turned out to be pretty accurate for the top 31-2 prospects. Some comments: 1. While not the same order, their top 12 matches what I had. I also suggested their was a gap in the rankings between the 12 and 13, and their list certainly doesn't contradict that. 2. My #s suggested a second grouping from 13 - 21, and the only difference there is they have Moehrig in that group while I have Harris. 3. For the remainder of the top 31, the only differences are they have Bateman, and my list doesn't; Rousseau made my top 31, but he was #32 on their list. I guess the moral of the exercise is that you can get a pretty accurate idea of rankings if you just use a sample of 7 - 10 boards. Their top 300 list (Pay-walled) is here: https://theathletic.com/2530534/2021/04/20/2021-nfl-draft-consensus-big-board-50-lists-one-ranking-of-the-top-300-prospects/
  21. I don't know if there is a more controversial position in this year's draft than edge? One man's trash is another's treasure...
  22. I like Wallace a lot. Watching his highlights, he reminds me of Diggs.
  23. The one thing for me is to come out with an upgrade for CB2 in either R1 or R2.
