  1. Yeah, @The Wiz may want to change his moniker so as not to be confused as the author of what may be the worst take of all time.
  2. I think they'd only keep Feliciano if he restructured to a lower cap hit because he's paid too much to be a backup. The Bills will need to release a few players to create more space in order to re-sign a guy like Harry and (I hope) lil' dirty. Possible cap casualties are Feliciano, Star, Beasley, and Klein.
  3. Brown has become one of my favorite players because he's so damn feisty! Great pick by Beane and great physical addition to the line. I am surprised a bit by Bates, as he is more physical than I thought.
  4. It's a good possibility. It's a long season, and it was even longer this year with an additional game. However, things also changed once the Bills put a greater emphasis on offensive balance and revved up their Motor.
  5. This is an appropriate atonement for those who doubted Allen:
  6. Will Josh Allen drive Belichick into retirement? hehehehe....
  7. My conspiratorial side says it would be interesting to look at the relationship between penalties in a game and the last minute bets on games. I recall this post in the last game between these two, and indeed it seemed the Bills did not get hosed on penalties.
  8. No, but losing coordinators is inevitable for good teams.
  9. It wasn't just the comment but the smile and almost shrug as he said it. Great stuff!
  10. Are you sure that was Beane? I think that was done shortly after the draft, then they let Whaley and the scouting staff go, then did the "search" for a new GM
  11. I seem to recall reading that someone on McDermott's staff, who had been with Cleveland, recommended he look at him. Not 100% sure though.
  12. Hmmm...it wasn't so long ago that someone was worried about the defense going into the playoffs...
  13. I recall reading an article about Bates and how he was focused on C, hoping to take over after Morse goes. If he can be a good C, it's a lot easier to find guards in the draft, so why not? At any rate, I trust Beane will continue to ensure the Bills meet their needs going forward.
  14. Even Basham had a couple good plays yesterday.
  15. Yeah, if Doyle Pan’s out, then they’re set at OT for the prime of Allen’s career. They will need another G and Morse’s replacement, but it’s possible Bates moves to C eventually. Had they kept Teller instead of Spain, they’d be in great shape. That said, Beane and co seem pretty good at finding OL in rounds 3 and later. Ford was R2.
  16. Epenesa and Basham are busts, probably Rousseau too.... 😁
  17. My dad grew up in Oshkosh, so I grew up watching the Packers, my second team. Bills-Packers Super Bowl would be awesome!
  18. A battle of the backup QBs in that game with Baker out too, so it's a toss up.
  19. i think you're right with 8. Pay him some of what you save by releasing Star. I think he'll be a lot like Milano, he'll want to stay in Buffalo and will take a contract that's mutually beneficial. They'll have Oliver and most likely Zimmer (RFA) at 3 tech, so they'll need to draft another 1 tech.
  20. Hughes turns it up in the playoffs. The past 2 years, he has 6 sacks in 4 playoff games.
  21. You never know, we got Kumerow back after being poached of the PS last year.
  22. I wondered about that as well.
  23. From Tim Graham and The Athletic: https://theathletic.com/3039383/2021/12/28/its-so-buffalo-big-weekend-for-the-bills-isaiah-mckenzie-began-when-he-walked-up-to-some-familys-house-on-christmas-eve/
  24. Just noticed on the 4th and 1 play how the entire right side of the O-line and TE dominated the LOS on that play, so it looks like a hand off would've been successful too.
