Keon drops 60 in Damar's celebrity basktball gam
Augie replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, are you calling Tom Izzo a bad person? Maybe, just maybe, he did the right thing and helped him find his most promising path. That doesn’t mean he couldn’t have been a contributor in time at MSU. -
I was in 4th or 5th grade and had strep throat so I couldn’t go to the home preseason game against the Eagles. I remember listening about giant Harold Carmichael tearing us up in a meaningless game. I remember that more clearly than most of the games from that era I actually attended. I guess it was “different” so it stands out in my mind, and your brain must process it a bit differently. 🤷♂️ .

Tom Izzo recruited him to one of the top basketball programs in the country and gave him a scholarship. Let’s not pretend he’s not very skilled in basketball. Yes, his ceiling is higher in football, but he’s still a pretty damn good basketball player. . -
Can we slip that into the Chief’s Gatorade in the playoffs? Or would that be too obvious now?

How to make baseball the most relevant sport again? Steroids
Augie replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
They called to invite my son to play All Stars one year when he was young. They offered him 2nd base and lead off hitter. I told them I would ask. My son’s response was “Do I have to? Half the guys are standing around, and the other half are sitting.” From the mouths of babes. He went on to play sports with a bit more action. I will say it can make some nice background noise. Even my baseball loving college buddy agrees that the pitch clock has helped move things along. He was All State in high school, and he felt it was too slow moving. -
I just realized she could hypothetically be about my wife’s age. My wife looks great, and better than ever to me…..but she doesn’t have LA Docs for every little wrinkle. .

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?

And sometimes feet, but that’s more in the NBA. They lost a lot of big guys to chronic foot injuries. -

I think there was natural growth and learning as well, but yeah, I thought it was the back that just wouldn’t let him go. Back pain can be terrible stuff! -

I was honestly just kidding and trying to get things back on track. I’ll wait and see on his numbers. It could go either way. . -
Gee, that Jeanie Buss sure is cute, isn’t she?

I’m going with 765 yards and 7 TD’s. -
So, woodworking, not food. I’m usually all over the food stuff. We have friends who have a daughter really into the food part in a big way with amazing presentations. She taught my wife some stuff, then they gave her this super cool board. It’s got shelves that pull out and expose your various knives, etc. I didn’t know it could get that elaborate! Good luck!

He’s probably shopping with all the other Bills fans! We didn’t pay that much more for our seats for the (last ever) opener about the 35 yard line 40 rows up on the aisle. I’m sure we could have waited and gotten them cheaper but my wife saw them and she knows how I prefer being on or close to the aisle, so she pulled the trigger. But to each their own. I know I’ve gone ahead and bought tickets early just to know I have everything nailed down in advance. It’s a peace of mind thing.

He should be in the bumblebee throwback uniform! He deserves that special look!

There’s probably a chapter on that in the Psych books on Daddy Issues.

Rex felt the only thing better than that was winning the offseason press conference. I guess it’s fitting that he’s on TV instead of coaching football.

That time with your family is priceless.

Thanks! Some kind of a chart or graph would be helpful. 😋
-
Those categories are not mutually exclusive.
-
Another interesting category might be number of games missed, regular season and playoffs to get there. That would be striking. I’m not Tom Sawyer asking you to paint my fence, but just trying to make a point. I could add a poll here, will he or won’t he? It’s crazy what you can do with numbers and stats. .

Thanks, that’s great stuff and, well, frankly….I’m far too lazy to do all that.
