  1. Hmmm, have we gone from a salad to a casserole, or is it all cold? It sounds familiar as a casserole with…..potato chips crushed on top?
  2. Stuff like this just goes to show how very little we know. We know little about dark energy and dark matter, and that’s the vast majority of the universe. It’s hard to feel “certain” about anything given our general ignorance. Yet some of us can be feel so sure. 🤷‍♂️
  3. Congrats!! That’s awesome! Your Father’s Day present is a blown out diaper!
  4. Sounds like good genes! Take good care of yourself because it sounds like you’re in this for the long haul!
  5. That sounds like the theory behind home schooling Travis Henry’s kids.
  6. Nice boots.
  7. Both can be frustrating. There is no arguing which franchise I prefer.
  8. I’m just kidding, every generation does stuff other generations don’t get. For the record, I was the right age, but could NOT put up with disco.
  9. This is what we got because there was Disco. The Universe spoke to us, and said STOP IT! .
  10. Addressing the Oline. The Bengals seriously addressed WR, and they have missed the playoffs in 3 of the last 5 years with Joe Burrow at QB. He’s not chopped liver. The Bills addressed the OLine, and we are regulars in the playoffs and a top Super Bowl favorite. We didn’t win the SB (yet), but we were in the playoffs, while the Bengals sat at home. Some people want to whine so badly about our GM and HC they lose sight of reality. The Bengals are doing better is not a hill I’d want to die on.
  11. What is the Jets Super Bowl worth now? Broadway Joe made a few bucks. I’d rather spend my money on travel and tickets to enjoy the games. Well, then I might think about it. 🤷‍♂️
  12. It beats not being there at all. The Bills have a chance when they are in the playoffs. The Bengals do not when they are sitting at home with most of their cap space going to just a few guys. I would have a hard time being a fan of any NFL team from Ohio.
  13. How did they do in the playoffs last year? Or the year before? They’ve been to the playoffs twice in the last 9 years. Is that great? Are they wasting Joe Burrow? Give me our Bills, please and thank you.
  14. That’s not an AI generated picture. That is a screen shot from Sanders’ dreams!
  15. Don’t have high expectations, the Russian judges are hard on everyone.
  16. I can see both sides, honestly. If you are a jackass and ruin your career, why should we still have to pay you? Of course I can also understand “why should I be the first guy?” I wouldn’t sign it as a player, and I think I’d have some advantage because of the Bengals reputation. The Bengals look stupid for asking to change the terms, and will look even more stupid if/when they cave. But I don’t think it’s unfair. The Bengals just find ways to look stupid and cheap.
  17. That’s a long time. I’ll pretend to think that you were just being funny, but I have my uncertainties. After all, it is TBD. .
  18. I don’t love it if the pattern continues, but this ain’t that again.
  19. ….and be glad it happened in early June instead of August or September. What was his injury last year that caused him to miss games? Do you think the actual number is higher? Or lower?
  20. It is their curse for beating us in the Super Bowls. Learn to live with it!
  21. This is a good list to me, though somehow I’ve never seen more than snippets of Goodfellas. You had the first mention of Field of Dreams which I enjoyed. I’d add Contact to that list, not because it’s a great cinematic masterpiece but some things just speak to you more than others.
  22. Well, it’s the Bengals, soooo…. Not shocking.
  23. They are great, until you lose internet connection! We had a storm Saturday and have not had Spectrum internet since, hence no streaming anything including regular DTV Streaming programming. The wife went to the trouble of resetting everything and then getting a new modem. Nada. She even reinstated the DTV dish for a few channels at least, but of course it’s raining so that doesn’t work either. All this great technology is great, until you lose it. VERY frustrating!
  24. My wife was recently informed that her position was eliminated as part of a reorganization. That sounds like a bad thing, but it’s a GREAT thing! She was “eligible” to retire in about 13 months. She would have worked much longer if she was enjoying it, but that was not the case. It was hell on earth. So, they offered her a package paying her NOT to work most of that time. It’s not just about the money. They say if you throw a frog into a pot of boiling water it will jump right out, but it you put it in water and slowly turn up the heat they will cook to death. That is what was happening to her. It’s happening all over corporate America. SO…… the great part is having my wife back. We are going to a show tonight and doing things we haven’t done in years. It’s so great to have her back relaxed and tension free. It’s a whole new life for both of us.
  25. I’ll go with Spiro Gyra. I had some of their stuff.
