  1. If those are my only choices, Zay if it is a PPR league.
  2. Hospitals are a different category than retail outlet. Its' not like people can't shop the other 363 days of the year.
  3. Best concert: Ray Charles at the Blue Note Cafe Worst concert: too many to pick just one...Styx? Bucket list: gotta be the Beatles, as predictable as that is. Wish I could have seen: the Rolling Stones during the Mick Taylor era.
  4. It's impossible to cover a Trump press briefing without pushing propaganda.
  5. Ha ha....when I wen t to accept the trade, the offer was rescinded...I knew it was too good to be true.
  6. Sorry...I meant Jimmy Haslam. Not sure what I was thinking there....
  7. Only thing about Harbaugh (John) is I wonder how much control he would want over his next team. No doubt, he would be one of the very top candidates available...but could he co-exist with guys like Jerry Jones, Victor Kiam or John Elway? I could see Seattle being his landing place.

  9. The bass/drums on "Everybody's Got Something to Hide..." are stellar, in the new mix.
  10. I am about to be 5-4 in my league, trying to hold onto a playoff spot. The #1 team made me this offer: I get Josh Gordon (Patrots) and Joe Mixon (Bengals) for Mike Evans (Tampa Bay) As it is now, my team strength is WR (Evans, Robert Woods, Tyler Boyd, Mohammed Sanu and DeMarious Thomas. My weakness is runing back...beyond Ezekial Elliot, I have mostly "junk"... Chris Ivory, Duke Johnson, Jamal Williams, Giovani Bernard. I am inclined to want to make the trade, as much as I love Mike Williams. Is Mixon worth whatever I lose in dropping down from Evans to Gordon? I think Gordon is really talented, but I just never trust any player, other than Brady and Gronk, in the Pats offense...they tend to be "all or nothing" type starts. What would you do?
  11. As it stands right now, Zay is the only WR on this team I would want to bring back next season. Bills fans are pretty quick to write players off. It is the upshot of so much losing. We see rookies coming in and dazzling NFL fans, in other cities, and we wonder why our guys can never do that. People here were ready to declare Edmunds a bust, after two games...and how about Matt Milano? Everybody loves him now...Aaron Williams was a whipping boy a few years ago, before becoming a fan favorite. It may be that bad teams take longer to develop young talent.
  12. Think about it, why would another team want to take on that salary? I don't think Clay is going.
  13. I still think he is human garbage, and I think he is a weak, and cowardly. I guess I am just not as evolved as some of you...
  14. Seriously? They charge an extra $100 to get the games in HD? That is absurd!
  15. This guy just retired, for health reasons..I suspect he makes a comeback. Damn fine songwriter, and great live performer.
  16. Eh...this is the season I expected last year. I kind of like McDermott, but I have some concerns about Beane. Of course, I am not exactly sure where one starts and the other begins. That said, this rebuild is starting to feel a little like the Sabres tank/rebuild. Tim Murray was great at getting rid of assetts for futures...but he wasn't so good at turning those futures into talent. So, consequently, the Sabres sucked, without a glimmer of improvement, for about 2 seasons longer than most expected. Sabres may be finally turning a corner, but it took a second turnover of their roster. I am not a Josh Allen hater, and still hold out some hope that he turns out to be an above average starter at some point...but if we are to believe the rumors out there, he wasn't necessarilly the Bills first choice...just like the Sabres got a really good player in Eichel, he wasn't the guy they really wanted. A little concerned that Beane couldn't get to the position he needed to get the guy he really wanted.
  17. I don't know if Hue Jackson is a great coach, but you really can't blame all the losses on him. They were very obviously dismantling the team, and getting rid of whatever talent they had, when he got there. He was probably a fool to stick around for it, even if it was the only HC job he could have gotten.
  18. I love the Bills. Never miss a game...in fact, I've only missed one game since 1984. It was the game against the Colts (coincidentally) where Howard Ballard missed a block, Jim Kelly got creamed, and the "bickering Bills" were born. Watched it a few monthls later, on VHS. I obsessed over this team since I was 7 (1972). At one point, during the Jauron era, my love of the team slipped a little. I still remember the game...JP Losman was getting his "final chance" to prove that he had any value as a Buffalo Bill. We were playing the Jets. Late in the season. It seemed like the Bills were going to ice away an unspectacular, but hard faught win. All they had to do was run out the clock. For some reason, they had JP roll out and try to run the ball...deep in their own end. Predictably, JP had the ball swatted out of his hands, the Jets scooped it up, and ran the ball into the endzone for a win in the waining moments of the game. I hated Dick Jaruon so much...that season was so frustrating...I remember snapping after that play...everyone in the bar I was watching was angry, and slamming their cups down...I just started laughing hysterically...people thought I had lost my mind...I couldn't stop laughing...I wanted to, but I couldn't. My love of the Bills is still strong, but it has never been quite the same after that...just got so numb to the ineptidtude. I will confess, last season, though I didn't think we had a great team at all, I did enjoy them making the playoffs. I never expected it, never expected them to win that game..but it was fun, for one week, to remember how exciting it could be. I no longer read every article I can get my hands on...never look at team/league stats like I used to...don't tune into the national shows to see how they are talking about us...I just watch on Sundays, enjoy hanging out with other Bills fans, and love it when we win...but if we lose...eh, who cares anymore? I am 53 years old now...I have come to the realization that the Bills aren't likely to win anything in my liftime. My brother passed away last fall...he was 60. He was every bit the Bills fanatic as me...maybe even worse. The last day I saw him, we watched the Bills lose to the Bengals last season. He was really sick, we both knew he didn't have a lot of time left. Our last cognisent conversation he said to me "don't waste too much time on the Bills...there is so many other things to enjoy"
