You sure the prostitution problem has been cleaned up? From the Lancaster PD... Police Blotter 6/27/18 - 6/28/18 Officers arrested a 36 year old male on a Lancaster court warrant. Detectives investigated a tip of possible prostitution activity at a Maple Drive motel. A 22 year old female from Lockport was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant. A search incident to arrest recovered 4 bags of heroin, a bag of crack cocaine and a smoking pipe from the subject's purse. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to 6 motor vehicle accidents. Patrols handled a complaint of a disturbance, and later a call of an unwanted guest, at an address on Fernwood Drive overnight. Lancaster dispatch handled 12 requests for emergency medical services. Patrols arrested a 23 year old male on Aurora Street on an outstanding warrant. The subject was turned over to Depew Police. A 27 year old female driver from Cheektowaga was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (A.U.O.) in the third degree after the vehicle she was driving was stopped by an officer on Walden Avenue. Patrols were dispatched to a complaint of a disturbance on Carter Street overnight.

This for me...and there is no close second. Awesome game that I was fortunate to attend as a teen, and will never forget.

For anyone coming in from out of town and staying at the budget hotels in the area around the Transit Rd exit of the 90, be advised that the ladies of the evening frequent these locations. Reports show up regularly in the town police reports. Where there are ho's, there are drugs and other crime.

Just my 2 cents... Football fix? Summer just started in WNY. Who cares about football at this point, and I'm certainly not wishing summer away in order to get my fix, knowing how short summer is to begin with.

All this talk about the BIsons makes me want to punch Bob Rich Jr. Who remembers him waving the check around at the owners meetings when it was rumored that Buffalo was going to get a team. Then he got cold feet. With all the TV money in MLB, regardless of attendance, I would think all teams are profitable. Buffalo's attendance numbers would have been at the very least competitive with those who routinely finish at the bottom of the league in attendance. So sad that we missed out on the chance to be a MLB town.

I go to the Valu on Transit(between French and Losson) at least once a week. Never greeted with a "how can I help you"...which is usually a good thing since most of the store is staffed with teens. Last time I asked one of them where the blue windshield wash was, he gave me a blank stare. Probably why I go out of my way to Lowes. IMO, HD can't hold a candle to Lowes. Usually my only trips to HD are for tool rentals.

There was some kind of falling about between WGR and the BN a few years ago, to the point where no one from the BN appeared anymore on the station. I wonder if Schopp and his Lapdog will go back to having Sully on, even if on an infrequent basis.

The UB stadium was a mistake for football since day 1. Having the track around it(built for the world university games) caused the fans to be too far away from the field. Then they built that ridiculous end zone seating which made an ugly stadium, even worse I’d bet it is a very very small minority that would stop going to the games if a stadium was built downtown.

Bottom line the Bills have probably the worst group of WR's in the NFL(or at the very least in the bottom 3). There is no quick fix, and the chances of one of these "no names" solving the problem is somewhere between slim and none. Their best hope is a vet gets cut at some point over the summer, and can at least try and fill the hole. Much better than pinning our hope on Mariachi and Co.

...and the Sabres since 2007 have been an equal mess. Yet people wonder why the BN columnists have been negative for the last decade or more...they would have been criticized just as much for writing columns full of sunshine and lollipops, while the two local franchises were shitting the bed year after year after year. Yes they were over the top at times, but that is part of their job probably dictated by their bosses.

I misread your previous postregarding stadium PSL's. I still say Kim's comments are nothing more than the first shot fired in new stadium negotations. They have nothing to do with a desire to keep the Bills at RWS.

I'm sure when pressed, he will say something along the lines of "At the end of the season, Zay had some minor knee pain that we thought would get better with rest, now here it is almost June, and it's not getting better, so he has to have surgery blah blah blah blah..." It's all part of that stupid process everyone keeps talking about. LOL

They might get more fans at a Bills HoF if the stadium was downtown(attached to the stadium). Out in OP, only the biggest diehards are making a special trip to visit it...especially in the dead of winter.

...and that problem isn't getting fixed no matter how much money is spent on renovations at RWS. If it doesn't help generate revenue, and costs truckloads of money, it's not getting done.
