Hasn't the statute of limitations run out on this yet? It's time for Buffalo sports fans to raise the level of expectations beyond "Oooh, I'm so glad to have two pro sports teams in my city".
lol
I call BS on that explanation. Hughes has always had his share of bonehead plays throughout his career. Add this one to the list. If this was true, all he had to do was bear hug him until he heard a whistle.
The picks and cap space are only as good as your GM's ability to "draft/sign/trade for" players that can become quality starters. Only time will tell...
Who plays for a 45 yard FG in the closing minute when down by two points? There was plenty of time and opportunity to get the ball at least 10 yards closer. McClappy and Daboll would be getting killed here, if Hauschka had missed that kick.
The passing offense was a joke. I think at some point in the early 4th quarter it totaled 50 yards.
So the Ravens rebuilt their WR corp in one offseason(Crabtree, Brown & Snead) while the Bills countered with Benjamin, Jones, Coleman and assorted other crap.
Excellent job by Beane and McClappy.
What a surprise...after this thread dropped down to Page 3 or 4 when everyone lost interest in it, who comes back to bump it up...Mr. LAMP.
There never was a bet. We all know it, and now the poster is hiding behind "no comment".
Awesome hole you've dug yourself into. LOL
Zimmer is a friggin’ moron. None of the NFL coaches play their starters in the preseason fearing injury, then this idiot goes out and keeps his starters in until the end of a game that was over by the start of the 4th quarter.
I've got a last minute offer that I couldn't refuse. 5G on Minnesota minus the points. Maxed out the credit cards to make the bet. Hope it all works out.
