  1. Maybe he is so elusive, I miss it every time.
  2. It's the elusiveness that I'm waiting to see. Being able to run quickly in a straight line isn't being elusive. Maybe next year he will be more elusive.
  3. I know that roll outs cut down the ability to throw all over the field, but I continue to be puzzled as to why the Bills don't call more roll out pass plays for JP in lieu of the fact that this OL is getting worse not better and he is one of the most mobile QB's in the NFL. Does the staff even realize that DB is no longer under center?
  4. I'm not sure if LJ is that good or if he is a product of the system, much like whomever Denver inserts at RB and instantly becomes Gale Sayers. Either way, he is putting up huge numbers. PS What the hell was he thinking when he signed a 7 YEAR ROOKIE CONTRACT! http://www.kcchiefs.com/player/larry_johnson
  5. Sorry I missed the thread, I wouldn't have created a new one.
  6. I should have phrased my originial post differently. My comparison is more of a guy who has good(not great) straight ahead speed and goes down very easily. Not so much of a comparison as to how he can catch the football.
  7. I saw that he returned a TD yesterday and that is what made me think of him.
  8. Am I the only one not impressed by RP's so-called blazing speed? I believe there was one kick or punt return yesterday where he appeared to be caught from behind by a LB. I don't see any elusiveness from him on the passes he has caught or the kicks he has returned and because he is 170 lbs. soaking wet, he can't break any tackles and goes down easily. I know it is only his first year, but I don't see anything special about his future. He probably would have been a better pick for the Rams in their wide open offense. Remind anyone of Antonio Brown?
  9. RW is paying TD a boatload of cash to build a football team, not to sell tickets. That's where his so-called expertise is. TD got the title of President so that he wouldn't have to answer to anyone but the 80+ year old owner of the team. I have no proof of this, but I bet TD does not have a lot to do with the non-football day-to-day operations. I'm sure there are plenty of qualified staff in the front office that take care of this. TD has had 5 years to land this team in the playoffs and has failed miserably. Time for him to move on.
  10. Don't forget about Hamister's "money" man Todd Berman, who is now serving 5 years in prison on embezzlement charges. http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/nys/Press%20Rele...0chartwell'
  11. The Bills signed Vincent to a six-year, $20.75 million contract last winter to replace departed cornerback Antoine Winfield. http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/99-...004-417274.html
  12. Sometimes I wonder though...if small market teams like KC and PIT have been losing money for all these years, why do the owners not move them to another city or sell the teams? Maybe it's because they are not in as bad a shape finacially as perceived.
  13. I thought both of RW's daughters have gone on record in the past, saying that they have no interest in owning the team?
  14. I'm still pissed at Bob Rich for that blank check waving charade at the owners meeting many moons ago, when he led everyone to believe that he was going to bring MLB to Buffalo.
  15. TD is slipping Ralph pills in order to keep him from being aware of how F***ed up this organization has become.
  16. What's in poor taste, the fact that I used the phrase "kick the bucket" or the fact that he is still alive?
  17. I have no proof of this, but I have a hunch that a select group of vets are trying to undermine MM's authority. The inmates cannot run the asylum and if they don't like it, they need to be shown the door.
  18. Forget about TD, MM & EM, it all starts at the top. I think Golisano will be the next owner of the Buffalo Bills. By owning the Sabres he has built up his resume and when the Bills become available, I believe he will drop the Sabres and move up to play with the big boys. Notice that I said the next owner of the BUFFALO Bills as I don't believe the NFL will allow this franchise to be moved out of WNY. PS This is assuming he gives up his aspirations for public office.
  19. Great post! Moulds stayed here because he received a kings ransom, not because his loyalty to the Bills blinded him. Has he got the short end of the stick in terms of QB's, numerous coaching staff changes, bad teams,etc.. throughout his career? YES, but so have a lot of other players. That's the hand he was dealt. If he is now bitter as he nears the end of his career and wants to be a disruptive force in the locker room, get rid of him ASAP!
  20. Nobody knows for sure what is going on inside the locker room except for those in the organization, but I'm wondering whether MM is reacting to a select group of vets who are attempting to undermine his authority aka "inmates running the asylum". The combination of another losing season can wear on vets who are nearing the end of their careers and maybe MM did not nip it in the bud. Now it has reached the boiling point and is spilling over. MM certainly isn't helping himself by making it as media circus, but that is what happens with a HC who does not have the experience dealing with situations like this.
  21. Here is a future schedule for several years. The GB & MIN games are at RWS... http://www.johnnyroadtrip.com/schedules/nfl_future_afce.htm
  22. If that is the case TM will be nothing more than TD's puppet. The Bills need to make a clean break from TD.
  23. I don't want Clements gone. His salary demands will unfortunately end his career as a Bill. You say the problem with this team is not talent, I say what looks good on paper i.e. "big name" players, doesn't always translate to quality play on the field. The reason we were so bad in GW's first season is because there was no money to sign anyone because of the salary cap mess. I don't believe that will be an issue this offseason. If Moulds and Williams agree to paycuts without contract extensions, giving them "incentive money"(as you state) or moving money to the back end of the contracts, I am okay with that....but neither gets a nickel more just because they were so kind to help out the Bills!!! The cap figures for these two are unbelievable.
  24. 3-13 next year without them on the roster versus a likely 4-12 this year with them on the roster?
  25. Did you read my post or just the title of the thread? I discussed the potential of Rashad Baker as a potential replacement for Vincent. Also, there is this thing every March called F/A where you let go over priced and over the hill players and replace them with younger players who you believe can do a better job. Just because they are "name" players that everybody has heard of doesn't mean they are the answer to the problem..
