  1. Be patient you Patsie troll...TD is packing as we speak, JG & TC are interviewing for positions on Turner Gill's UB staff & MM is probably staying, but he should be joining fellow former TE Mike Tice in the unemployment line. By the way for all the star power that Modrak and Guy get as GREAT TD hires, WTF have they done?
  2. You have scouts and front office people spending hundreds of hours pouring over film and workouts of the draftees. What is RW possibly going to add to what has already been compiled? Granted he is the owner and has the ultimate say, but I don't see anything he can bring to the table that hasn't already been covered by his football staff.
  3. The guy I feel bad for is Al Michaels who is a world class announcer being saddled with a world class babbling idiot and ball washer....Joe Theismann.
  4. I don't need RW meddling in the war room on draft day. If he can't trust the staff he hires to run the football operations, then we have a problem.
  5. The only given is that Chuck Lester stays no matter what. He's probably walking around OBD today whistling dixie while the rest of the coaching staff are tip toeing through the office hoping to avoid RW.
  6. I think there is ZERO chance of Tice being named the HC of the Bills, but I swear I'd give up being a Bills fan if this moron was ever hired by them.
  7. Excerpt from the link below... With the Bills trailing, 30-26, McGahee broke a 17-yard gain, his longest of the day, putting the Bills on the Jets' 34-yard line with 4:05 to play. He took himself out after that play and never carried the ball again. Operating out of the no-huddle, the Bills ran Shaud Williams for a 1-yard loss and had three futile pass plays. McGahee said he took himself out because the Bills were in the hurry-up offense and he got tired. Why were the Bills in such a hurry? They began that possession at their own 36, with 5:55 to play. They had plenty of time. If running the no-huddle forced their best running back out of the game at a crucial time, was it really worth it? http://buffalonews.com/editorial/20060102/1034696.asp This was only the 3rd play in the series and neither of the first two were carries by WM. How can you be tired? WTF is up with this guy?
  8. Good point. Can't edit polls though.
  9. I think Clements is gone, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gray is also shown the door.
  10. I would be surprised to see Tice ever be more than a position coach in the NFL from here on out.
  11. The only coach who is 100% safe is Chuck Lester. Don't ask me why because I don't know.
  12. Some time over the summer, I predicted the Bills would hold training camp at St. John Fisher. The Bills would play 16 regular season games this year. 8 at home and 8 on the road. Sometimes they would wear blue jerseys and sometimes they would wear white. In every game they play there will be a winner and a loser. I got a lot of heat for this post and I just wanted to say I WAS RIGHT!!!
  13. EM's rant after the Miami game was one of the phoniest I have ever heard. When was the last time a WR was crying about his team not running the ball enough. LE was in the spotlight and EM didn't like it, but instead of saying what was really on his mind, he came out with the lame crap about not running the ball enough. Goodbye EM.
  14. If I never see another "Jim Kelly would make a great coach" thread(which seem to pop up here on a regular basis), I would be a happy camper. He has never coached at any level, shows no interest in being a coach, so therefore why would he make a great coach? Because he ran a no huddle offense....whoop de do!
  15. Unless the inmates are running the ayslum(which is a possibility considering the way this season has played out), who cares if the players back Holcomb. Holcomb has about as much upside as the QB who the Bills brought to training camp year after year and who DB was so upset about when they finally cut him. His name escapes me for good reason.
  16. For those who may be interested, here is a link to the press conference with Ward Manuel(new AD) and Turner Gill... http://stream.buffalo.edu/insecure/shared/...ill_Presser.wmv They tried an asst. from a big time progam(Craig Cirbus) and a HC from Div 1-AA(Jim Hofher) who both failed. Now they turn to a coach without HC or coordinator experience. Who knows how it will work out.....a few years back UB gave the basketball job to a relative unknown even here in WNY and look how that turned out.
  17. If after 4 years of being overweight, he has not had the desire/motivation to lose some weight(and I believe he needs to lose more than 10-15 pounds), I see no reason to believe why he would change now. It's time to turn the page and get out from underneath his HUGE cap hit.
  18. You're kidding right? If you are saying that you would rather have WM instead of LT, you need to watch some Charger football. Not only is LT a FAR superior player, WM has been in a funk most of this year, above and beyond mediocre OL play. I am starting to believe that when MM called out WM for hesitating too much earlier this year, that WM just started running where the hole should be, whether there is a hole there or not. The OL play this year is on par with last year, but WM has not been anywhere near as effective as he was in 2004.
  19. This is it for MNF on ABC. Dandy Don will be back for one more chorus of "Turn out the lights, the party's over". I also believe that we only have one more week of Sunday ESPN PrimeTime left. Does anyone know why the NFL is yanking PrimeTime off ESPN? Is it because NBC will be having their own version of this on Sunday evening before their game?
  20. Way to insult the fans of Minnesota and the great teams from their past... Foot in mouth Vikings coach Mike Tice was upset that there were so many Steelers fans in the Metrodome last week. They were a vocal force during the Pittsburgh victory. So after the game Tice blasted Vikings fans who he suggested scalped their tickets to Pittsburghers. "It confuses me, I guess," Tice said. "Maybe they're not really diehard season-ticket holders or maybe they needed the money for Christmas presents. I don't know. One of the two." Yes, this is the same man who was nailed with a $100,000 fine from the NFL just nine months ago for scalping his Super Bowl tickets. Tice didn't stop there, either. He continued to take on his fans during his weekly radio show. Asked if he felt he wasn't living up to the history and standard of the organization, Tice bellowed, "What history? What tradition? Losing four Super Bowls? Not selling out at (former Vikings home) Met Stadium?" http://buffalonews.com/editorial/20051225/2058036.asp
  21. Come on over to the Sabres Report board and share your memories. Make sure you go check out the link to the Sabres Alumni website(link is in the thread) and listen to the originial "We're going to win that cup" along with all the songs from the Jim Schoenfeld album. Great memories. http://www.sabresreport.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=751
  22. So you want to eliminate signing players who grew up in the Southeast and Southwest where they hone their skills by playing football year round? YOU'RE FIRED!!!!
  23. Cut it out you Patsie troll. Don't you ever have anything good to say about the Bills!
  24. Chest injury? Are his man boobs sagging to the point of causing discomfort? Get in shape and get healthy or get the heck out of town!
  25. I don't get this at all. Regardless of his title, TD was hired because of his football expertise and if RW feels he has failed in this regard, get rid of him. I'm not paying him all that money to oversee the "business" side of the house.
