  1. The question is what young talent is going to replace Satan's 30 to 40 goals and 70-80 points a year? Vanek had a good rookie year in Rochester, but he has yet to step on the ice against NHL competition. I think Zhitnik will not be re-signed by the Sabres and in his place will be one of the 2nd tier defensemen. Do not expect any big free angency moves in the forward ranks. So the Sabres lose their best forward and best defensemen, but the playing field has been leveled?
  2. I believe in was on the NFL Network and went something like this..."Drew says his arm and legs feel great....I just hope he brings his brains with him".
  3. Browns | Pucillo Signed Sun, 31 Jul 2005 16:10:55 -0700 The Cleveland Browns have signed OL Mike Pucillo (Bills). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  4. What you need is somebody here in Buffalo with a tv tuner card in their computer who could capture the evening sports every night electronically and then blast it out via email. Wish I could help in that regard.
  5. Let's not get sentimental. I don't want to see TD overpaying anyone. Especially ones at the end of their careers.

  10. Seattle, St. Louis and the Jets may not be POWERHOUSES, but they were all playoff teams last year. Give a little credit, where credit is due.
  11. Since the day they signed him as a UDFA, I have been eager to see if FS Jim Leonhard can overcome his height and weight limitations and make the transition to the NFL. This kid was an awesome playmaker at Wisconsin!

  13. I expect to see abundant knowledge and wisdom contained in post #20,000!
  14. I was typing my last post at the same time as yours. Have you heard the timeframe for when Sirius will be debuting this receiver? Thanks!
  15. The thing that pisses me of is that the Pats have to replace guys like Bledsoe, Milloy, Law, Bruschi & now Seymour yet continue to WIN!
  16. I'll like it more when they come out with a walkman style receiver. XM has had one on the market for at least a few months now. When you inquire at Sirius about when they will be coming out with something like this, you get a big fat "no comment".
  17. Jerry Gray and the other coaches will forever CHANGE their philosophy that just because the Bills are lining up 1st stringers on defense and the offense of the other team is lining up 3rd stringers, that this does not equate to a victory.
  18. Vikings | Tice Plays Good Samaritan Fri, 29 Jul 2005 05:53:57 -0700 Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice spent part of his last day before training camp visiting a 10-year-old Minneapolis boy who was hit in the side by a stray bullet Sunday, July 24, while playing football in his back yard. He presented the boy with a signed football, a QB Daunte Culpepper picture and a flag football kit. He also extended an invitation to the boy to attend a Vikings practice after he is released from the hospital. Then when the boy wasn't looking, Tice swiped his prized rare football card collection and is trying to scalp it on ebay.
  19. Yeah that makes sense. The guy with the red jersey on in order to protect him from being hit, goes out of his way to throw a shoulder into a defensive back who is trying to avoid contact with him. If that's the case, I have grave concerns about the level of common sense that are QB of the future has.
  20. Well said! Oh by the way, if the Bills had just run one more play before letting Norwood kick in SB 25, things could have been so different. It is haunting me and I need to know who made this decision!
  21. TD comment on Roscoe negotiations.... "This isn't at the point where you would say, "Boy, we're really concerned about that particular player,' " Donahoe said. "We've had conversations (with Rosenhaus). We've talked about some parameters of the kinds of deals we'd like to do. I believe we'll be able to get something done."
  22. When I've subscribed to ESPN insiders in the past, I've always found the player evaluations by Scouts Inc., to be both in-depth and pretty accurate. I'm not saying they are right on the money for every single player, but those who have never seen their work, shouldn't just trash them.
