In the business I helped run for a few decades, we tried to implement an anti nepotism rule in hiring on the salary side of the business.. (of course, the union already had that in their contract, nothing to be done about that...we had to hire from a referal list and that was all their kids.) But, we got sued quick enough and lost in court...you cannot have an anti-neopotism requirement in hiring. It would infringe on the rights of those "related" job candidates. So much for good intentions.

Another big difference in the game from my perspective is the officiating of the game when KC was defending. The muggings that KC did to the Bills receivers were let go by the officials in the AFC Championship game. However, in the Super Bowl, the identical plays were being called as PI or holding The only exception to this generalization was the call where the KC guy virtually tackled the Bucs wr from behind just tripping him up. That would have been called in either game.

Maybe he is putting pressure on the Bills...maybe he has a "silent" deal already in Florida...maybe he was cold and wanted to warm up. Who knows.

Marv Levy always wanted smart players....it was one of his criteria for selecting in the draft. A really low Wonderlich score is a warming.....ala CJ Spiller and W. McGahee.....who needed their signals in from the sideline separately, as they couldn't catch the play call by the QB.

Coddled NFL players don't understand what a contract is......both sides have to live up. And, I don't think Watson and Josh are interchangeable. My stong preference is JA.....and the ceiling is still higher imho.

Last cut in training camp this coming year. Ends up on Bills Practice Squad. A rookie will replace him. (Harris or other with burst) singletary is a bust... We saw against KC that Yeldon is better. Bean and McD to loyal to their draft picks.

Most vets who have had big pay days can't turn on the fire in the belly anymoe. But, Hughes, still can turn it on, so I advocate keeping him. Hyde same. Morse is a strange situaton, not sure there. Brown has lost speed/burst, but that may be the injuries not yet healed totally. Sometimes, months are need to recover, not weeks. If Brown goes, it will be after the Bills see how he looks in the late spring. He might come back, he didn't have burst/separation in the playoffs. Butler and Jefferson are typical of the vets that will be impacted by the lower CAP. Addison is a little different. Still, the Bills will need DT and DE's to play their system. Rookies and free agents will have to be in play to let those two go. Bean has a tough job ahead, and McD will also have a role as consiglieri to Bean on the personel moves.(in addition to Beans staff) I also think Daboll and Frazier are in the conversations. Most decisions have input from the whole org imho. Seems like Beans style.

This guy could play when healthy. He made a big mistake, imho, opting out based on how the season went. the NFL got it done through difficult dircumstances, but few were seriously ill (Sweeney being one exception) He will land somewhere in the NFL, maybe Jets. OH, I forgot, I think all he got was the $150K the opt outs got, not the 1.25 Million.
