    this is where I am at. What I am mostly terrified about is if Bernard misses any time. Dorian, Buffalo Joe, and cam Lewis as our starting linebackers?

    I said this elsewhere, but a guy like Bosa should be off on a short week— like not play this Thursday. Just asking for injuries trying to get these old vets to play a Sunday and then Thursday game.

    This team’s SB chances are going to rise and fall on the health of that defense at the end of the year. That’s the main reason we have been eliminated in the playoffs almost every year.

    This is why I was hoping the bills would make a run at Spillane in free agency. Just a durable and steady LB. I love Milano, but this is insane.

    They are going to need to trade for an elite LB near the deadline if they actually want to make a legit run here at the Super Bowl this year.

    it just feels like of any position, a top-20 CB pick is almost the safest pick. The learning curve isn’t steep for that position either. But maybe that was back in the old days? I suspect teams draft rawer guys now at that position for whatever reason?

    We used to be on the other end of those condescending comments by Nantz when we used to play Brady and the pats. And I would despise him because of it! Yesterday, I was yukking it up.

    I have not worn any bills gear or jerseys for the first two games. I will continue that streak for the rest of my life, including the SB parade…. Unless we lose.

    you can get the same production from Knox than you can from any number of 1-year low price contract vets. Looks like the same will be said with Kincaid. Both guys are solid TEs, not guys you sign to multi-year deals. edit: eg, Tyler Conklin is on a 1-year/$3 Million deal.

    since they won, you do know that that must stay on for every game this entire season?

    agreed. Don’t get me wrong— I really like the guy. But it seems like anytime he gets extended PT, he ends up with some really bad injuries. Even today, he took a lot of hits.

    Taylor couldn’t last a full game without internal bleeding.

    when he walked out there, he seemed weirdly overconfident almost with his body language. Then he zipped that pass it. And he audibled into a nice run right after. it was actually super encouraging.

    i hate second down runs! But I don’t mind them against the jets. I thought the game plan was perfect for this particular opponent. I do think we will see them go down field a lot more this week against Miami.

    a nice boring win! It was perfect. The only time We lose to these guys is when we press and get too aggressive and turn the ball over (and make ST gaffes). We have learned from past experiences. Nothing was forced downfield.

    Even if he were 100%, I would be sitting all the injury prone vets on every short Thursday week (Milano, Tre, Bosa).

    Really impressed with how the Bills committed to the Run, both sides. Just punched those guys in the mouth all day. Huge 3rd down stops too for our D.

    Agreed. I really like browning. Yeah; he has the best WR duo, but he also knows how to get them the ball, which a lot of backups couldn’t do.

    unfortunately, I was on the road, and had to watch it on delay. we have Thursday night to “game plan” for!!

    it’s a rough place, for sure. Thankfully what is said in the GDT, stays in the GDT.
