  1. I hope he is okay. But I feel that fireworks accidents seem to hit the NFL more than any other sports leagues. Wonder why?
  2. I actually think he got better after he left. He was way too grabby with us, a very shy tackler, and injury prone. I think he cleaned a lot of that up after he left (though I still have my suspicions that he isn’t a great teammate).
  3. probably one of my least liked Bills’ players. Remember him always looking around and trying to blame the safeties?
  4. yeah, I am thinking Patty is looking pretty good!
  5. I still find the lyrics to be so out of left field.
  6. Good luck with married life, Josh! You can forget about that golf simulator in the new house. That area will be for scrapbooking supplies.
  7. agreed. The Bills are pretty naive if they thought that the Araiza and Hairston situations wouldn’t mature into lawsuits and PR issues. Neither guy was a “must have” player too.
  8. I just read the complaint linked in the article in the OP. the gist is he suddenly came into her room uninvited and said he was “high as F,” and then raped her. That is obviously egregious, If true. The common SA cases on college campuses seem to involve both parties being intoxicated and disagreements over consent. That’s not how this one is being framed.
  9. When we drafted him, I saw some stuff on the internet about this. If you look at Reddit, there are some screen shots from the accuser’s tik toks talking about it. Looks like it happened in march 2021, and the accuser reported it immediately to the police. But I guess nothing came of it at that time or ever.
  10. I just read an article recently about how at peace Waller was with retirement. i would be willing to bet he doesn’t make it out of camp.
  11. this would have been around 2014, I think. Marrone era. I think the Steelers now have a free ticket system, but you can get them easily. I could get 6 right now. I loved going to camp last year in Rochester. But I literally had to win the lottery for something that should be easy and free.
  12. the problem is the current set up and the commercialization of camp. Let’s Go back to some place like Fredonia with endless fields and parking and people can come and go easily. I was at Steelers camp a few years back when the Bills practiced there, and that’s how it was. No tickets and you just roam around.
  13. Fitzpatrick either isn’t an impact player anymore or he was criminally underutilized in Pittsburgh. I think this trade makes more sense for Pittsburgh— at least you have three lock down man corners and a good rush.
  14. I have always contended that that blocked FG and TD by Bennett was the watershed moment for the Bills. The defining moment that changed the trajectory of the team, and led to the rise of that great team.
  15. I was the only one watching too. And I totally agree— that moment just felt so defining in my fandom as a kid!
  16. Our TEs are at TE graduate school!!
  17. How good was that Odomes pick too? Just jumped that route on a well thrown ball and snatched it away!
  18. ran around my basement, screaming at the top of my lungs!! what a defining moment!
  19. I was 11 years old, and remember exactly where I was and how I reacted after that TD!
  20. Welcome to your mid-40’s!! All the old guys I play pickup hoops with (myself included) have shoulder problems. And we all figure out workarounds. Brees’s is, no doubt, worse— but we all have stuff as we get older!
  21. I pretty much saw every major playoff game of the entire playoffs…. Except game 7 of the finals!! I had a work conflict, and only saw the 1st qtr. looked like the pacers hung tough for a bit?
  22. Slightly Off the subject, but Mack Hollins was all my kids’ favorite Bills player. They have all been devastated since he left!
  23. I felt the same. But I actually won the lottery last year, and was able to go and bring my kids. Probably will never happen again though!
  24. my FIL is a great wood maker, and i love doing charcuteries. Now I know what we are asking him to make us for Christmas!
