  1. As much as I like to bash the Jets, if they have the money to throw around, this is a good signing. They don’t need Williams to be fully healthy. They have Hall and Wilson as their main offensive weapons. Williams will be great as a complimentary piece who ideally can play in like 60% of the games. It’s a bit of a luxury signing for them.
  2. Love this! I actually had him ranked 14th on my detailed list of free agent rankings, and had given him a RAS score of 4.372533.
  3. is your screen name really “no acl’s”? Haha. That’s great.
  4. This is like Mario Williams all over again. My F5 key is down to the bones.
  5. I guess as predicated. Still don’t understand Copeland. Is there that much better of a spot for him next year?
  6. i have a theory that is backed up with no data and sheer speculation that Tyson-related highlights are like top-5 most viewed YouTube content in America. (I have a buddy who just watches interviews of him, and claims Tyson is a genius)!
  7. Same. Tyson is going to destroy him. Now, if you will excuse me, I plan to yet again go down another 1-hour Mike Tyson YouTube rabbit hole.
  8. The guy that has always struck me as the most natural candidate to move to safety was Benford. But I think they really like him at corner.
  9. I just don’t get it re Copeland. Poised to have a great year next year for us, IMO. He can’t be worried about his minutes.
  10. Agreed. Poles isn’t going to pass on a 3rd and 4th round pick to do Fields a solid. The reality is he blew it— could have sent him to the eagles, and gambled, and then scrambled.
  11. I was wondering what was going on. Seemed surprising they wouldn’t get an invitation. This makes more sense.
  12. My thought is that these Achilles procedures and recoveries have really improved over the last 5 years. I remember reading something about even since like 2019, there has been dramatic improvements. That, plus the fact that Tre is more of a zone corner— I can see him getting back to being a productive starter. will he be an all-pro? Doubt it. But it wouldn’t surprise me to see him starting for a team here in the next 12-18 months.
  13. I heard the eagles had offered more for fields than what they offered for Pickett and the bears turned them down! so then they trade him instead for a 6th?!
  14. Very interesting. Appreciate the inside info. Might be that Copeland seems to be a little too free wheeling and probably doesn’t play within the offense as much as the staff likes?
  15. I am happy we are looking at him. He wrote one of my favorite piano concertos.
  16. it is a lot to invest in a guy who isn’t going to play. The drop off between having a top-5 backup and a top-20 one isn’t that much either. For example, the rams just signed Jimmy G to a 1-year deal. Seems like that is the better move.
  17. Agreed. This is utterly pointless by the eagles. Maybe they just think he is worth that much as a backup QB…. Which he is not.
  18. Copeland transferring would be a heart breaker. Everyone loves him. Just a fun player.
  19. he was terrible. Their offensive scheme didn’t help. But he is basically going to be a middling backup.
  20. Smart move by the Steelers. Pull the plug now; draft a guy like a Penix to groom Behind Wilson.
  21. Don’t get me started on Tee! He burned me!
  22. tell that to my fantasy teams! I think you guys are right that 2021 was the real injury plagued season. But even when he played the last few years, he always struck me as gimpy, battling through toe injuries and groin injuries and hamstring injuries. maybe it is just more exaggerated in my mind because I had him in fantasy for a few years, and felt I could never rely on him.
