  1. this would have been around 2014, I think. Marrone era. I think the Steelers now have a free ticket system, but you can get them easily. I could get 6 right now. I loved going to camp last year in Rochester. But I literally had to win the lottery for something that should be easy and free.
  2. the problem is the current set up and the commercialization of camp. Let’s Go back to some place like Fredonia with endless fields and parking and people can come and go easily. I was at Steelers camp a few years back when the Bills practiced there, and that’s how it was. No tickets and you just roam around.
  3. Fitzpatrick either isn’t an impact player anymore or he was criminally underutilized in Pittsburgh. I think this trade makes more sense for Pittsburgh— at least you have three lock down man corners and a good rush.
  4. I have always contended that that blocked FG and TD by Bennett was the watershed moment for the Bills. The defining moment that changed the trajectory of the team, and led to the rise of that great team.
  5. I was the only one watching too. And I totally agree— that moment just felt so defining in my fandom as a kid!
  6. Our TEs are at TE graduate school!!
  7. How good was that Odomes pick too? Just jumped that route on a well thrown ball and snatched it away!
  8. ran around my basement, screaming at the top of my lungs!! what a defining moment!
  9. I was 11 years old, and remember exactly where I was and how I reacted after that TD!
  10. Welcome to your mid-40’s!! All the old guys I play pickup hoops with (myself included) have shoulder problems. And we all figure out workarounds. Brees’s is, no doubt, worse— but we all have stuff as we get older!
  11. I pretty much saw every major playoff game of the entire playoffs…. Except game 7 of the finals!! I had a work conflict, and only saw the 1st qtr. looked like the pacers hung tough for a bit?
  12. Slightly Off the subject, but Mack Hollins was all my kids’ favorite Bills player. They have all been devastated since he left!
  13. I felt the same. But I actually won the lottery last year, and was able to go and bring my kids. Probably will never happen again though!
  14. my FIL is a great wood maker, and i love doing charcuteries. Now I know what we are asking him to make us for Christmas!
  15. it wasn’t that long ago that we were stressing over old Bojo and his horrendous holding! I think you must have blocked that out of your Bills memory!
  16. a Magic fan!! Not sure there are many out there! that magic team already was sneaky good. Wagner is very under the radar. He is superb.
  17. All I know is Brian Moorman better be on everyone’s list.
  18. the tricky thing in this hypothetical is that I would think the money would guarantee the SB win, but doesn’t necessarily mean your team couldn’t win won at another time? So, I would expect a lot of people would take the money. Or is it a binary situation— ie, the Bills only win the SB if you forego the money? That makes it much harder. Might be a million bucks for me in this scenario.
  19. I will be really curious to see how Tre does in camp. He looked washed last year. But maybe an extra year away from that Achilles will get him back to a serviceable level?
  20. Where is the thigh doctor? He is always right!
  21. Damar Hamlin and Jordan Phillips are having a great chuckle over this.
  22. I love this guy. I may be delusional, but if this kid got like 50% or more of the snaps at DE, he would be a 10-12 sack guy. He’s one of those players who would have excelled on our drought-era teams.
  23. Maybe we can sign him and send him right to the PED naughty table for 6 weeks too.
  24. I don’t get the stress around Cook. He has to play this year, or his market value takes a hit. If I am him and the Bills, maybe the deal is: “if we can’t reach a deal now, Bills agree to not franchise him after the season, and both sides keep talking.”
