  1. that was a great Super Bowl in 1988. A real nail biter. While I still wish it had been us, the Bengals smoked us pretty good in the AFC Championship, and had a great team.
  2. Oh man— what a shame. Great coach. Had high hopes when he came on staff here.
  3. those exercises during scores is some classic Bills’ fan voodoo. I’ve been there!
  4. going to watch it on TV alone, with no food or beverage. A bunch of buddies of mine (not Bills fans, but rooting for them/me) want to go out for the game. I can’t handle it. I need total concentration.
  5. McD has been there, albeit as a coordinator. But I wouldn’t discount his playoff experience as a great steadying hand. but I feel like you’re just bored and trying to stir the pot! ?
  6. Absolutely brilliant leader. It’s funny seeing these other Sports commissioners in comparison to him.
  7. I am so scarred from our prior check down QBs. I remember the debates on here (pre all-22) where we were debating whether receivers were actually running routes in the middle of the field because the ball was never thrown there.
  8. Yeah, he has to “trust” those guys some more. Those are the same guys he hits in the hands and they drop the ball or deflect it to the defensive player! All joking and complaining aside, I think this may also refer to just dumping the ball down. Josh is always looking off the easy check downs. Barkley took all of those the last game, and there were a lot of easy gains.
  9. We can beat anyone in the AFC field. I don’t know what to “expect,” but I would not be surprised if they run the table.
  10. I think they’re meant to be ratty like that. It’s part of the “look”!
  11. what’s funny is that pant suit probably cost $3000. And his ratty converse shoes are probably ironic and so worth another $200. I actually like how these players are into this stuff— makes things more interesting!
  12. Mad respect for Hopkins. That guy is a baller, awesome hands, and great personal story with his mom. I wish him a happy and relaxing offseason starting Saturday night.
  13. edit: I forgot that this decade was 2010-2020. Whoops! This is still a classic though!
  14. agreed. He keeps him in check to something like 6/60, I will be thrilled. Gilmore held Hopkins to 5/60, but if you saw that game, Gilmore handchecked Hopkins all day and it was never called. I don’t think Tre will be able to get away with that; will have to guard him clean.
  15. this will be an epic battle. Not sure White has been tested by a guy of Hopkins’s caliber. Just have to make sure to limit any big plays.
  16. They’re not going to change things up. The key is going to be executing better and getting into a better rhythm for both players and coaches. I’m hoping we can convert on a a few big plays, and just be in better third down to go situations.
  17. This is next-level stuff; you need to teach a class on the art of marital negotiation tactics.
  18. Weird how Foster can’t really fool the DBs when running deep routes, yet has enough moves to juke and run free as a gunner apparently?
  19. haha— true. But this poor guy is giving up watching it live because his Hulu subscription expired.
  20. I have a great feeling that we are going to connect on some big plays this week! Bills 31 Texans 17
  21. I think pretty much every injured guy on both teams is going to gut it out and play. Just a matter of how effective these guys will be. I say bring it on!!!
