I really wish they would have mic’d up JJ Watt for this game. I am genuinely interested in what he has to say today.
-
just saying— it would have been quite the contrast to the game we are seeing now.
-
No doubt! We would be sweating bullets!

If bills were playing in this, the score would be like 10-6, and America would be pretty bored.

A Haters Guide for Rooting for Remaining Teams
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is great. The safest for me is to root for KC or Tennessee over San Fran. 1) KC: I like Mahomes and consider Chiefs fans to be some of the best in the NFL. They are also exciting to watch and other than Kelce and Decoy Watson, don’t have players I have hate. 2) Tenn. Good underdog story. No one I really despise. I like Henry. The fact that the Bills beat them would also make me feel good about their success. 3) Houston: No way, for obvious reasons— still bitter. 4) San Fran. Solid team. No really super annoying players. 5) Seattle. Hate Carroll and think Seattle fans are phony. 6) GB. Rodgers is a jerk. -
Current NFL Coaching Tree - Belicheck and Reid

that’s where I am. If I am an owner, that is all I need to know about him. He would never be on my list of candidates. BTW, OP, I assume you don’t put Vrabel on BB’s tree because he only played under him? He is sort of an off-shoot because he was on O’Brien’s staff. -
Divisional Round: Titans at Ravens

It’s pretty amazing that Mariota can’t get on the field in Tennessee. They basically ask Tanny to make 6-7 throws per game and maybe about 100 yards passing. -
This team needed some good luck. They looked like they were going to choke the game away. Then they played looser In OT and that Buddy heave in OT was the lucky shot they’ve needed all year. UVA though looks pretty terrible this year. They’re just winning with D. They will probably be an 8 seed or worse in the tourney.

the difference is pure execution. The titans are catching balls and scoring TD’s in the red zone. Playcalling seems pretty basic. -

Apparently the announcers’ theme of the night is Baltimore “rustiness.” Can’t they admit that Tennessee is outplaying them? They are out-executing. -

tenn needs to just run, and play action. Don’t push your luck with Tanny. He’s made some nice throws, but they need to feed Henry even if the ravens overload the box. -

It is amazing. Tanny couldn’t or wouldn’t throw a ball more than 3 yards with the Fins. He has shown to be a great downfield thrower. I think he has one of the best YPA average. -

Note these no-name receivers making plays for their QB. Great route and catch (and also very good throw). -

This is how you beat the ravens. They are going to leave receivers one on one and bring pressure. If your receivers just make catches, they are done. -

It would be criminal to overturn such a beautiful catch. -

I may have mentioned this you and others A few years ago. But this is my wife’s biggest pet peeve. so I got her a shirt that says, “the misuse of the word literally is driving me figuratively insane.”

Great Topic, OP. Bojo was a pleasant surprise to me. I’m not even joking here, but despite being in the bottom 5 for net average, the guy actually was okay in hitting punts inside of the 20, and more importantly, only had 1 negative play (block against NE). i was terrified with him as the holder and punter, and he ended up being passably competent.

Joe B All-22 from Houston playoff game

exactly right— plenty of blame to go around. I was hoping McD would call a TO in the 4th or OT and regroup with Josh and Daboll. Josh was playing out of control, and it would have actually helped to go to a run heavy set and try to reestablish the run with Singletary. That would have helped reign Josh in some. josh was playing great early because they were running well and throwing quick passes. He came apart when they went empty and put the game on his back. -

don’t get me wrong— I thought Allen played a fantastic first half. As soon as the 4th quarter hit though, a switch went off. He looked like he was forcing everything. 4th quarter on— he was in total hero ball mode. He was looking to bomb it or run it every time. The DiMarco throw. The bad sacks. The lateral. Multiple unnecessary scrambles. It was really bad. Not like the Allen I had seen for most of the season.
