  1. This has been one of the best things with our new offense. It is pretty weather proof.
  2. I am not a local, but a big weather worrier. I am seeing 20 mph wind speed, which is high but manageable. The bigger issue is the gusts, which might be around 40 mph. If it is gusting like that with any frequency, forget about the downfield passing game.
  3. watching him, I really can’t tell if it’s a true effort problem. Sometimes when someone can’t compete, it looks like they aren’t trying when they actually are (but just are bad).
  4. I have no issues if Coleman just can’t cut it. But to hear he has an effort problem is disappointing.
  5. maybe it will motivate him some.
  6. I loathe McCartney!!
  7. Finally! Missed a ton of college bball!
  8. Thats a mark of good coaching. They are going to beat the teams that they should beat and play the better teams close. That’s how meathead had his teams in Tennessee play too. we are a far better team than them, but they will play us tight. Josh is going to have to decide whether he wants to play within the system and beat them in a clean 24-20 type game, or instead go big play hunting.
  9. agree with all of this. But do you think the absolute elite QB prospects shy away from Ohio State? I would think they would want to go to a place with great receivers.
  10. fields is terrible. I would argue Burrow doesn’t count because he never played more than a handful of snaps at Ohio State. But isn’t it weird? One of the historically best programs in the country with the best groups of wide receivers, And they have never really fielded an elite pro QB. Just an interesting anomaly !
  11. No way! Burrow does not count. Have to play meaningful snaps at the school.
  12. can anyone name an Ohio state QB who has actually been any good as a pro?! Like ever?
  13. 1) 1 punt return for 2 yards, while getting blown up. 2) 2 missed back shoulder throws that have a 0% chance of success. 3) 6-yard slant, with 0 RAC.
  14. we all know Taylor Rapp had his hand in this one.
  15. I loved what Atlanta did out of it, using both backs and getting Bijan in space. We could easily borrow some of that and get both cook and Davis on the field. I would rather have two RBs out there who can both run and catch, than some of our receivers.
  16. oh yeah, that’s really some wow stuff there. 😒
  17. when I read that, I was like, “please let there not be a page 2.”
  18. haha. The ultimate panther!!
  19. my buddy watched some of the film from a few games ago and was surprised how Samuel was actually doing a nice job of running a lot of clearing routes. So I think he has it in him.
  20. i just think there is this huge overinflation of some of these guys leading up to the trade deadline. Some people were viewing Shaheed like he was the next Jerry rice! We just need a fast guy that can open things up. There are a lot of guys like that.
  21. weird move. Aren’t they totally stacked at CB already?
  22. explosive plays are definitely the way to score and win. Our system is tough to sustain. Have to execute at a super high level.
  23. I think a good analogy to what is going on with the Bills is golf. the bills want Josh to play a “smart” game. Hit your hybrid off the tee, lay-up, two-putt for some nice pars and a clean round. josh wants to hit a 330 yard driver, and go for the green in two. He knows he can do it, and it’s more fun to do it.
  24. absolutely!! This is our identity. I am tired of trying to run from it.
