Teams give their stadium for concerts, local and college football ( Florida-Georgia at jacksonville) or MLS teams share stadium ( Seattle). before the even run the algorithm …they set up national games schedule fir Thursday, Sunday, Monday, and certain games for 4:25. these are don first because it makes scheduling easier. If you look at historical national games scheduling there is a pattern… 1-6 divisional match ups from each division. divisional match up games within and between leagues positional matchups because of NY and LA shared stadiums…more games involving those teams will be put in Non Sunday spots. Buffalo at LA game is likely to not be on Sunday afternoon. If it’s on Sunday afternoon it fir es the chargers on road on FOX if not on bye or national TV. playoff and super bowl rematches. it was mentioned all across national media when the new schedule came out and they mentioned a Monday night playoff football. I know what 506 is. the issue is competitive advantage which was a complaint by many coaches who had their playoff bound team have to play on Saturday. This is why final week Monday night games ended and they only way the league coukd agree to schedule it is if it was certain the team that wins plays on Sunday. it was a 4-5 game because the other games determine who they play. The logistics of scheduling stuff around the game can’t wait till Tuesday fir Saturday games.
