  1. Cincinati has a good defense--their offense isnt strong. Remmember each game is different.....Buffalo likely would have beaten the Browns if either EJ doesnt get hurt, or they stopped the punt return TD. Remember Cincinati lost to the same browns...17-6. Also remember this is a young team....the won their home games but lost on the road. They also benefited from geting revved up home schedule of host Pittsburgh at home on SNF, then hosting Green Bay and New England (both likely playoff teams for this year). Another common problem with young teams is them playing to the level of their opponent. In early season predictions...I said that if this game was in Cincinati Buffalo would probably lose but with it being in Buffalo they have a decent shot at winning.
  2. disagree....the team can opt to IR a player...remember since it would be done now it is possible to be recalled during the season. Every team in this league then has violated the IR rules then. I have seen people get IRed because of a less period than the rest of the season or the ailment is a nagging injury that is effecting their performance week in and out.
  3. i would be fine with a 2nd and 3rd, a 2nd and 2nd, or a 1st. I would have no problem bringing back players (young players drafted in 2011 or later) along with picks.
  4. I agree.... This isnt as much as Gailey.....but Hackett hasnt run any sort of screen plays to the RBs or send one of them wide in a receiver role creating mismatches.
  5. On the chandler call..... I wonder about the rule exact wording. Based on this logic if a receiver has one foot in and second foot steps on another player and not in bounds would he be ruled in bounds because the foot is all in bounds On the Woods non TD call....that was a pure judgement call. Under the rules it has to be indisputable video evidence and their wasnt that. It was a play that has to go with the way it was called on the field.
  6. If you want to go with the 2 conferences /one division...then go to a 19 game schedule...then you play 15 intraconference and 4 interconference games
  7. a pass rush helps the CBs much more than than the CBs helping the pass rush....that is whats called a coverage sack which isnt used too much. Its called max protection and 2 go deep...throw and hope for a completion, PI, or incomplete. A pick is the same as a punt.
  8. An Arizona Cardinal player, Rashad Johnson, lost the top part of his middle finger when he took his glove off and found a part mising. He had a procedure and is now listed as day-to-day. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/23801736/report-cardinals-safety-rashad-johnson-loses-part-of-finger This needs to get reported to OSHA.....
  9. Baltimore game is a winnable game. Playing at home is an advantage. Baltimore needed to replace after their defense so they arent gelled yet. The ofesne isnt much either without Bolden and Rice. against Houston they got 2 return TDs. The offense amounted to 16 points (this is without taking into account offense being set up on short drives because of turnovers/good returns)
  10. Going into this game they were without #1 and #3 CBs then on the first series lose #2...... you take a teams top 3 CBs from them....not many teams are going to come away with a win.
  11. It can be a combination of things....it could be an inner muscle tear or it can be a tendon tear. He was caught in a scum which could have cause his leg to do things unintended or the strain and force of all that contact caused the muscle to tear.
  12. Overpaying for Levitre would not have been a wise move because of you pay him then that sets the standards for the tackles who will want more money. Guards arent as important and you can replace them. Tackles are what you invest in.
  13. again..... already posted by me http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/161773-nfl-network-on-now-bills/
  14. They show just 3 ganes now...2 on tuesday and one on Wednesday. I just dont get this...... You have 13 games (not counting the 3 national games).....and say 4 days...Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday....they could air 3-4 recap games per day. this isnt hard....
  15. They have Marone under mic.... http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-films-sound-efx/0ap2000000246927/Sound-FX-Best-of-Doug-Marrone
  16. Still...Indy pick likely at the bottom part in the 20s....they picked Richardson at #3...Im thinking they could have gotten a bidding war or additional draft pick compensation.... How much did Miami give up to get #3 overall in this years draft?
  17. such as the uncover cops baiting the fans to start a fight--by smack talking and oing other things----that is entrapment.
  18. I live in Seattle..... Seattle has been doing this for all their games (even the preseason) where they go in as undercover cops wearing opponents jerseys. I think some could argue entrapment
  19. I already posted it http://forums.twobil...marketing-deal/
  20. There is another rule where a player can call himself down immediately if he has the ball. For example say Buffalo has 10 seconds left at the opponents 40 wanting to get in field goal range. EJ through a crossing pattern to SJ....he has nobody around him and catches the ball around the 37 yard line with 3 seconds remaining. He can call himself down there and call a time out. I am also sure there is an under 2 minute rule about such a play and how the clock should and shouldnt start. If they player recovers a squib kick and doesnt even attempt to move the ball he is conceeding being down so the clock does not start. Had the squib kick touched a player initially and bounced then the clock begins once he touches the ball. All teams put WRs on the field playing DB on hail mary plays. As a defense you want players who can catch the ball and not tip it which is part of the reason DBs are DBs and not WRs.WRs are taught on how to play DB when there is need to defend agains a potential pick.
  21. I would post a link but the system isnt allowing me to....
  22. You can find this article in Ad Age and bleacher report among others..... Dollar Shave Club's One Wipe Charlies brand is about to give NFL offensive linemen the most media exposure they've had since New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez ran face-first into guard Brandon Moore's large rear end on national TV last Thanksgiving. One Wipe Charlies, the flushable wet toilet-paper product launched in June, has tapped four NFL centers -- Travis Frederick of the Dallas Cowboys; John Sullivan of the Minnesota Vikings; Eric Wood of the Buffalo Bills; and Nick Hardwick of the San Diego Chargers -- to appear in the male-targeted brand's "Clean Snap" ad campaign, said Dollar Shave CEO Mike Dubin. The beefy NFL offensive linemen don't get many endorsements, making the deal a bit unusual. The centers will promote One Wipe Charlies in radio spots created in-house. The tagline: "Every great play starts with a clean snap." Mr. Dubin thinks the unsung offensive linemen who determine the outcome of games in the trenches are the perfect endorsers for a brand that bills itself on its website as the "softest, manliest way to wipe your ass." "Everybody's got their eye on the center's ass all season long," he said. "That's why we picked them. They have to keep that area clean, not just on the field but off the field." There's also a charity component. Every time the company sees a tweet reading #cleansnap, it will donate $1 to the charity of the four centers' choice. Mr. Dubin declined to comment on how much he's paying the players. "Let's say they're more affordable than the quarterback," he said with a laugh. By working with only four centers, One Wipe Charlies didn't have to pursue an official deal with the NFL, which he said would have been too expensive. "If these guys are getting over $10,000 [for the deal], they're doing well," said Leigh Steinberg, CEO, Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment. The most marketable QBs on Madison Avenue, such as Peyton and Eli Manning, won't even get out of bed for commercial gigs unless they start in the $75,000 to $100,000 range, added Mr. Steinberg.
  23. Wait.... Easley IR year 1 IR year 2---heart thing PS to start year 3, on the roster to close it. Easley hasnt been given the chance. I would like it if they gave Easley a shot. He does have speed.
  24. Thos who get season tickets may not go for whatever reason. With Toronto getting Atlanta, Carolina was probably the lowest interest game of the season where if people were going to pass on a game this is the game to pass. Also doing 3 games in 4 weeks can be tough for some people with other responsibilities. Many renewed before the schedule was even announced.
