Is this the easiest schedule the Bills ever had?
djp14150 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2008 looked weaker going in and was weaker. This year Bufalo also started 5-1 The played both west divisions and were wak. They went 7-3 against non division teams. They could have gone 9-1 in those. Only legit loss was to Kurt Warner led Arizona team. This season QB Edwards got his bell wrung in Florida in game 7.. -
The book says you knerl ehen grtting the ball be ause buffalo woukd have 3 kneal downs and the game. if this was say a surprise onside kick then you want the return player to do thst if they can like a receiver or DB but not so with others who it’s not just with onside kicks but when the offense gets a 1st down the game is over so the defense lets him score to get the bill back. a game a few years ago the bills beat the Patriots. Bills had the ball and only needed a FZg to win. Buffalo ran plays to bunt the click to get it down to 3 sec and kick. Patriot trackers tried to throw the RB into the end zone ( they were inside the 5) and then the pats got an unsportsmanlike like penalty giving buffalo a first down so thry could just kneal.

Week 16 - Bills and Pats up for a flex?
djp14150 replied to Gavin in Va Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the flex is to move to Saturday In Week 16, three of five possible matchups currently listed as TBD will be scheduled for Saturday on NFL Network: Houston at Tampa Bay, Buffalo at New England, Detroit at Denver, Oakland at the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco at the Los Angeles Rams. Start times and Saturday games for Week 16 will be announced no later than following Week 8, with the non-Saturday games to be played on Sunday. -
With a healthy Darnold this will be a close game coming down to turnovers and big plays.

Does anyone miss Zach Brown? Nigel Bradham?
djp14150 replied to Markjaro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hated this trade...you developed a stud but then trade him for just 1 1st that you use on an OL you in essence replace who you traded. i understand you can’t keep everyone but you should focus on keeping certain players... core you keep.... QB LT other OL top receiver WR or TE Puss rusher DE/LB CB DL LB -

The AFC is a dumpster fire this season
djp14150 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think something else will happen... the best divisions top top to bottom are the NFC north and nfc west. West has played much of the afc north over the season. The browns went 0-3 but the also handles the Ravens. i see Clevrland sinning the division. Clevrland has 5 games in division, Miami, and Denver and Arizona. Thry ein those they have 10 wins. KC is still good. They played 2 strong teams who figure to battle for the south title. south to Houston or Indy. wild card 1 to bills/pats loser Wild card 2 to a group of Baltimore, Oakland, indy/Houston loser. There is a chance one of the 2-4 teams gets hot and into it. in the nfc... top 2 in the north and west get in. East and south are just division winners. i don’t think there is that much difference between conferences. The number of teams eith2-4 loses is about the same. -
2 trades to win this years super bowl...but at what cost
djp14150 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they want to really go at it next season if they do well this season. They have cap room before thry need to pay to resign their CBs and QB. they also don’t want to give up a 1st next year. -

You dont trade a 1st for one at 30 yrs old. Trade a 1st for one say 24-25...sure. -
They key is if buffalo wins the division...which is possible. AFC championship is likely 2 of buffalo/New England/ Kansas city new England 2 non common games look to be harder at Houston, and host KC vs buff win at tennis and host Denver. week 16 game could be winner gets division title, likely bye, and either 1 or 2 seed. The loser like a 5seedand likrly winn at4 seed thrn have to p,ayatollah afc east winner or KC and then play the other in afc championship game.

The Bills have many transplants elsewhere in the country. Many were born and raised but in 20s moved elsewhere. if you factor in the Canadian population buffalo is a top 10 media market after nyc, la, chicsgo and Houston.philadelphia, Bay Area, Boston, buffalo are all very close buffals 75 mile radius population uts itequivalent yo most other metro areas in the country. UB was division 3 in sports— no scholarships- till late 80s when they started to invest and become division 1 over 10 years. in the early 90s when I went there they were 1-AA in football and 1 in basketball. In the south tailgsiting is more is more common in college football. with thus being a downtown stadium, tailgating is harder. Don’t have the places to park. other cities this is the case too where stadiums are in downtown areas. i was eith a group thst set up what amounted to a private tailgate party just on the east side of the stadium near the quality inn. it cost $30 and thry had beer, snacks, and grilled food. my brother lives about 1.5 miles from the stadium. 2 didn’t go to the game. Thry drove us to near where the tailgate was and dropped us off. Then we met up with them by the arena in downtown where we walked over the bridge thrn cut through the city to the meeting point. there were other similar tailgating going on.

My brother gas lived in Nashville almost 25 years. I visited numerous times. tennesee has crud benefits st the stste levrl compared to ny stste. the state doesn’t have income taxes. It has a high sales tax. It has lower property taxes which hurt their infradtyre. the city has had a lot of development in the last 10 years. Downtown area was downtrodden 20+ yrs ago. There are still parts inside the interstate loop around downtown that is getting developed like the area around the gulch. they don’t have good public transit and rush hr traffic isbad. by the way..bless your heart is an Insult. .

Factually inaccurate.... yes dome have moved to nadhville srea lime my brother my brother and his wife ( she’s from buffalo too) have lived there almost 35 years. the flights to nadhville were booked solid. i was on a flight out st non on Monday got cancelled and couldn’t fly out till today because all plane seats taken. nashville is an area you don’t necessarily need rental car to go and see the game. A car measure is faulty. 11 of us came down. I came from dc, others drive from buffalo. other buffalo transplants live in places like Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, dc, Philadelphia, and other cities. Nashville is a destination city so many can easily travel there.

Next 5 games....Miami, Philadelphia, Washington, at Miami, at Cleveland Philadelphia and Cleveland are not easy Winn’s. At worst they are 7-3. Thry could be 9-1 last 6 games Denver, at dallas, Baltimore, at Pittsburgh, at New England , jets i see thrm going 3-3. Dallas and New England are difficult. I see them winning one of Baltimore snd Pittsburgh. i think Pittsburgh is better than their record given the close losses they had. new England comparisons. new England plays at Houston and host KC at Philadelphia which is equivalent to our dallas game. They host dallas. They are also at Baltimore and host Cleveland.
