Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t see how this game will be competitive without Tua. I’m not worried about the beginning of the game. This team under McBeane has gone from terrible in game adjustments to one of the best. How many times have we been close in the first half to pulling away in the second half. -

It was for you Fast Freddie Felson. Always got your back brother. Now get the papas, get the papas. -
Is Von back with the team in any capacity?
machine gun kelly replied to JMM's topic in The Stadium Wall
Talk to me when you have 1000 posts. I’ll listen to you at that point. You have no earthly idea what Von has done behind the scenes for his defensive line counterpoints and neither do I. im just not foolish enough to make silly assumptions. We’re onto hosting a non Tua Fish team. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
machine gun kelly replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s not going to be cheap and as you point out he’ll be 31. You know he’ll want $20 mil per year and a multi year deal. I don’t see Beane pulling that trigger. If he was 27, then probably yes, but he’s not 27. -
Can we take a moment and appreciate the front office
machine gun kelly replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
The front office has been fantastic. It was nice one of our guys is being sought after for a front office promotion. Guys, get used to it as we kee having success. -
Turk, I grew up on South Park Ave by RT 179, in the border of Hamburg and Blasdell which means southtowns and tons of snow. I went to St. Francis in Athol Springs brother right by Hoaks. I didn’t move to FL until going to grad school at USF in Tampa. I remember the grey days, and it was most of them in the winter and spring months. Delivering pizzas from the original Blasdell Pizza, working as a paper boy for the BN when I was 12. It doesn’t detract from the fact that the area I grew up at this miserable time of year. It was also about that Bills fans are everywhere in the Tampa area as we have thousands of transplants, and the weather is literally heaven right now. Atlanta can get miserable at this time of year. Just sayin.

Just Like Jimmy from Goodfellas… Naheem gets the TDs, gets the TDs. Were onto SQUISHING THE FISH! -
Hammer sounded so depressing with no sun for that length of time. It’s like you guys are living in Alaska fusing the no sun months. It’s one of the many reasons I’m suggesting the neutral site should be Tampa. It’s beautiful right now and almost never rains in the winter months. It’s likely 75 and sunny with no big winds and an outdoor stadium. You guys would enjoy the Gasparilla parade the day before where they lift open container for the day and 500,000 people head to Bayshore Blvd. Besides six of you guys could crash at my place and not have to pay for a hotel. Lastly, there is not one bad seat in that stadium. But that’s getting ahead and we need to focus on squishing the fish. I hope Tua plays so these Fins fans have zero excuses, and we are the superior team!

It’s funny as I was at one of my favorite sports restaurants Sunday afternoon and an acquaintance friend starte in on me The Bills, the Bengals, and the league was wrong not to resume the game. Normally, he’s a decent guy and I think he was trying to get me to agree. I did the exact opposite. I used just logical arguments and brought up details of how events laid out. Finally, I slightly raised my voice “Chuck, he basically was dead for 9 minutes and thankfully the first responders saved his life!”. “How do you think any player or coach for that matter could’ve continued”. He maintained until two of the women and another guy chimed in and told him they had to resuscitate him again at the ED. He finally came off his soap box as he knows how passionate I am about the Bills, and another good friend for his Bears as he was born and raised in Chicago. Finally I just said to Chuck if McD would’ve gone along with playing he would’ve permanently lost his locker room. So if Vincent behind the scenes was advocating to resume play he and the league would’ve been crucified by the national and international media. Not just the sports media, but Good Morning America, the Today Show, etc., etc. I also said Chuck I want you to read something. I showed him Skip Baylee’s comments, and the barrage of insanely passionate responses by current and past NFL players. I encouraged him to keep reading all of the “You are sick remarks”. I said Do you want to latch your horse to that argument? He seems to realize finally how on the wrong his comments were and let it go. Amyway, I just wanted to share there are some idiots who really take that position, and how much heat any of us would catch for thinking am NFL game is worth more than a man’s life.

Panthers request to interview Dorsey for HC
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok, now that’s out of the way. Hey, he’ll get HC interviewing experience which can never hurt, and the likelihood of an OC for less than 1 year is unlikely. Daboll OTH had lots of experience and was ready for the next step. My guess is given there are usually 7 or so openings each year we’ll probably lose him in 1-2 years of the Bills continue to build up 12-13 wins a season on average. Its a very nice compliment to him he’s getting noticed by other organizations. -
He has 2 documented concussions in less than 12 weeks, and everyone knows he really had three with the Milano hit. The Fish’s biggest flaw is their defense is a mess. A lot of injuries and not even close to the depth of the Bills. Even if Tua plays their defense shouldn’t be able to stop Josh and company. I wouldn’t doubt a decent Cook day as well as Knox. They will do their best to take out Diggs so Gabe better have a good day. Going 3 for 10 attempts to him was not his best day.

We have a bunch of safeties now and I’m even fine with sitting Oyer today to ensure he’s good for the playoffs. He will be desperately needed next week and beyond. Benford can be worked in slowly as we have Tre, Elam, and Dane. This will be a point of depth and we still have Hyde under contract next year. I certainly hope we can find some type of bridge contract for Poyer so maybe three years, with one voidable if needed.

We’ve demonstrated in the past we’ve been able to beat other teams with a portion of second stringers against their starters. If it were up to me, most of the guys who are banged up, but can play should play a series to a half, and then punt. We need all starters as healthy as possible wildcard weekend, but also not rusty. Playing one half would accomplish it.

Indy unavailable on AFC champ week?
machine gun kelly replied to familykwi's topic in The Stadium Wall
Selfishly, if the Bucs are knocked out, and they will be, Tampa is almost certainly going to have nice weather amd a frequent location for big events. The daytime parade typically happens around that weekend which is insane as the Pirates invade Tampa, and there is always half a million people with open container lifted partying throwing beads for girls lifting their tops, etc. Its the dry season for Tampa, so there little to no chance there would be wind, rain, or lightning. It will probably be in the 70’s to 80’s, amd it’s pretty much sunny everyday at this time of the year. A great weekend to go deep sea fishing, partying with Tampans, and enjoying one of the top 10 beaches in the world by vote in Clearwater. They rake that beach every morning so that is why there is little to no rocks, sticks, dead fish. That white sand is like powder. Oh and BTW, there are thousands of transplant locals from Buffalo here. It would feel like a true home game and you can watch the game in you’re jersey, shorts, and flip flops. Just my two cents guys. I’ll take in a half dozen true TBDers as long as you bring you’re blow up mattress. Lastly, there are two bar/restaurants within a 1/2 mile of me that has fantastic wings, and the other place Beef on Weck. The BOW though is made with prime rib, to make it better amd the owner is from Buffalo. -
What Bengals & Chiefs fans are saying about the situation:
machine gun kelly replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mods, please close this thread before it gets ugly. These two are trolls, new users, (SHOCKER!) amd are clearly Cincy supporters. That’s fine if they actually showed some GD respect. A man almost died, or more accurate did die for a few minutes, until brought back to life. If idiots are that into football, they care more about a game of entertainment over a man’s life is sick. SICK! Im so proud of this team, and our head coach. As a small concession, we lost the #1 seed, not the Bengals. Just because they scored first at 7-3 heads no bearing on our beloved Bills coming back and getting back into the game. Were going to win today so the Bills lost on this situation, and the Chiefs would’ve been 2nd given their win last night. So to finish, mods close this offensive thread. Bungals fans, instead of onto, just go back to Cincy. Take a page of you’re head coach and you’re team, and act with a slight amount of dignity as they did Monday night. Lastly, a reminder, you’re captains were fantastic and went to the Bills locker room to show their respect and solidarity. You should follow them. They are to be respected on OUR board, and they are by my TBD brothers. As far as the board, and I mean the real people on this Bills site, I’d just let this thread die. I won’t come back to post again on this topic. -
Bills signJared Mayden release Rhodes
machine gun kelly replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Benford was a good sign. It allows Cam Lewis, Siran Neal, Jaquan, along with Poyer. Benford, Elam, Dane, and Tre of course can handle the outside as well handy dandy Taron as our star Nickel. With each week Tre will keep getting back to form. -
Reviewing this chart reminds of one other conundrum.. Oh no, I’ve gone crosseyed. Smashing Basil. All kidding aside, all we can control is demoralizing the Cheatriots tomorrow and let the chips fall. I seriously doubt the Raiders can beat the Chiefs, but I’ll watch with some hopes for a quarter.

Yeah this. It’s called prayers. If you didn’t look at the last census, 93% of Americans still identify themselves as some form of Christianity. If you don’t believe in prayer or God, that’s your business and no one is saying you shouldn’t subscribe to whatever you believe. With that said, if there are people who believe in some higher power, that’s their business and those who do, are able to pray to whomever they wish. Since I’ve read about Murph, I’ve said a prayer for him each day just as I’ve prayed for the Hamlin family and the trainers and coaches who were called on to respond to Hamlin.

Peyton Hillis in critical condition
machine gun kelly replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you’re correct, those currents are a tough thing to fight. I was a lifeguard when young as a summer job, and remember once at St. Pete Beach there is a small area that has a terrible RIP current. I was newly married with my ex and we saw some kids and I would guess a dad deal with this problem. I ran and grabbed a bunch of strangers to create a human chain by the rocks as this area commonly pulls people under in a certain spot. The authorities had posted warnings, but inevitably kids were towed into it and it is right where there are a bunch of rocks. It was one of one of my scarier moments. We saved the kids and dad, but it took a beach full of complete strangers to get these kids out. I’ll say a prayer for Peyton as he did what any dad would do. You save your kids first and worry about yourself second. God, one of a dad or mom’s worst fears. One of you’re kids in danger and you desperate to save them.
