Saquon Barkley is Still a Media Favorite to the Bills
machine gun kelly replied to JackKemp's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Giants still are in negotiations with him. That’s a hard no that would ever happen. Not that if we’re playing Madden that wouldn’t be fun. It’s been talked to death the priorities at WR, Guards, late a TE, a Safety and so on. We’re not in the high end free agency business. I’m just giving the voice of pragmatism. Not wish lists. It’s a waste of breath. -
Nope and will never happen.the owners buy these teams as there is a hard cap and can’t be parsed out like the NBA. A 53 man roster with another 16 on the PS so very different than a 20 man roster. it’s why these billionaires see these buys as long term lucrative. The MLB, NBA, and NHL arr all very different leagues. This barstool work is a non starter.

Anyone else on the John Michael Schmitz bandwagon?
machine gun kelly replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
He recess really high grades from the MTC guys in their Evans and Bill Polian. Coach Alexander who is an often guess and was a 35 yr O Line coach in the NFL. He’s now one of those position gurus. -
I’ll agree with all of the negatives and now that he retired from the Bucs and probably for real this time, but the flip side to the narcissist is he has 6 rings. He is the GOAT, but can’t move around to save his life. Allen as has been described is the new version of of the modern cyborg athlete who is accurate, but pushes it sometimes. Ill still take Allen any day of the week, and we are so incredibly lucky we’ll get to enjoy him for the next 12-13 years.

Scouts, Scheme, Evolution, free agency, and a Hands-Off Coach
machine gun kelly replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
virg, what did you drink three 5hr energies. Just kidding.😇🤩🦬🏈. A very thorough evaluation of the team. I wondered why you stopped on the game reviews. I don’t think everything is a mess, but we definitely need to take a step forward. You’re right we need a strong draft. We certainly don’t have the cap space for any large acquisitions. -
Aaron Rodgers to the Jets for 2 first round picks?
machine gun kelly replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it does happen, it will Rodgers watch for his first meltdown as that NYC media has always been brutal. As far as the draft picks, they already three 1st RD picks last year alone. They are pretty stacked other than a crap QB in Wilson. It wil also eat up I think $60 mil. Next year. OTC cap hit on him is $68,155,000 in 2023, but then goes down from there. If he’s amenable the Jets can convert that hit to a signing bonus post June 1. The problem is right now the Jets are projected to be $3.8 mil over the cap. Im. It worries he’s be in the AFCE, but he is under contract for several years. It’s just one of the highest in the league. Just fold for thought. The upside is he would eat up a ton of cap and they would lose 1st RD picks. -
Should the Bills switch to a 3-4 defense?
machine gun kelly replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have an occasional package where they have one of the ends drop simulate the 3-2-5. Nickel is a staple for McD’s defenses. It’s not like Frasier trumps McD’s wants, and most of the league is passing and McD believes in dropping 6-7. They also like the two high coverage. The problem was too many injuries at critical starters. Hyde, and Von then our depth really tested in the secondary especially. Jordan Phillips was a big and penetrating influence. Shaq was our third best End and set the edge. Honestly, our offense was more of the problem as erratic at times. -
Josh = Phil Rivers (just messenger)
machine gun kelly replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burrow is excellent now and he is Joe Cool. Hurts is just earlier in his development. I didn’t add Brady and Rodgers as we won’t know if Brady truly stays retired. Who knows where Rodgers will end up. -
Should the Bills switch to a 3-4 defense?
machine gun kelly replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
3/12 although I always value you’re opinion, it’s highly unlikely McD is going to completely change his staff, personnel and change what has worked for him for the last 20 years. He may be a disciple of the great Kimmy Johnson, the 3-4 defensive guru, he has chosen to move to a 4-3 under Ron Rivera. -

machine gun kelly replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall
OP, um no. Allen is widely considered one of the top 3 QB’s in the league with Hurts. Hurts. Is still newer and hasn’t accomplished as much as Allen, and yes, I know Allen has not made the SB. -
Jay, it’s kind of early, and we don’t know the final injury report for both teams. These are currently several guys not practicing for both teams. They do have the bye, so I wouldn’t predict anything until a day or two before the game.

This is not the brightest of ideas. We’ve just never got the most out of Basham and AJE. -
Dawkins, Saffold and Knox added to Pro Bowl
machine gun kelly replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saffold was awful this year. -
Yeah, gross. I hated when my mom would tell my siblings and I how he had nice legs as a young guy. Ugghh. No one wants to think. About their parents that way.

Like so many, he was an Irish alcoholic. That’s is not disparaging him. I just wish he would’ve seemed out help. Pine, my man, you know who our moms had crushes on. Between Redford, Newman, and the other is McQueen that warmed a lot of hearts for the generation above us. that’s fine. My dad is too much of a class act, but I’m sure he like Raquel, and all the others of that generation.

I’ve had a manager or two like that with us. Thankfully Inwas a bit better, but it makes a point. That was a great movie as was Boiler Room. It’s true we need to toughen up and I’m a homer as much as the next guy. Getting pushed around by some teams though was pathetic. Some players need to get smacked on the mouth. Players who have an attitude like Hines who is almost reckless with his body and why he explosives at times on ST. You have to be a little touched in the head to return punts and kicks. The reason he takes it home is he plays without fear. My favorite sound as a kid was a slap to the mat by the ref. Never once was I pinned and I pinned most of my oponents. Why? Because I wasn’t just good and disciplined, it would go farther than my oponent to win and demoralize them with a pin. I’m sure we have a number of guys on this team currently with that shark attitude, but we need this to be our culture. Don’t just win, demoralize them unapologetically so they fear you the next time they play you. We’ve done that successfully with the Cheats. We need more of that attitude with all opponents. So for all of my positivity normally, I agree. Bury you’re opponent at every turn.

Agreed Old Man. I’m guessing Beane will let Motor shop his services and then low ball offer him as he’s not getting big $ from anyone. He’s a decent RB, but has his limitations. Hines and Cook will take on bigger roles in the coming years. I may sound like a broken record, but it’s a speed WR, and a possession guy. If we trade for Jeudy, that would free up for only one WR early in the draft. Two Guards is a must. That’s my 1st-3rd RD picks. Conver Allen and Diggs’ contracts to signing bonuses and frees up a lot of cash.

my mom loved that movie when I was a kid. I think she just loved Redford and Newman. Robert Shaw was a great actor. He died far too young. Between Black Sunday, The Deep, and Force 10 from Navarone, they were some of my favs as a kid. Thanks for the reference Ridge.

Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
machine gun kelly replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m over the loss. Cincy for me now that I’m calm. -
Singletary or Hines or neither?
machine gun kelly replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
John, the RN, not ketchup. Just kidding. Damn autocorrect. I see Beane letting Motor check the market and then give him a low offer. Having three RB’s is somewhat of a necessity given how often all RB’s get hurt. I think we have a good shot at keeping all of them. If you’re asking my six fingered friend of it’s an either or, I’d say motor would be gone. Hones has the speed Motor doesn’t, but Motor has skills. -
I stand corrected Dapper. Thats possible, but Benford is much more physical. The real answer is probably not on the roster.
