Fans, don’t be dumb butts. Just move on. A no punt game is the medicine we need.

Glad I’m not the only one.

All we can do is win and the rest will take of itself. I’m not obsessing about stuff I can’t control. As Adrienne said “Rocky you look so tired, can you don one thing for me? Yeah what, Win, WIN!”

Nope! It was nope 1, 2, and 3 years ago.

Predict the Score - Buf vs NE

33-3 Bills. -
How about maybe we get to the AFCCG, and by then he may be able to yell the right here right now from his hospital or rehab facility. Guys, he has a long road to recovery, and thinking he’s walking out of the tunnel Sunday is presumptuous. I work with the ICU for other reasons, but he’s going to need a lot of time. Maybe the home opener he can be there next year. For now baby steps. Im just glad I just saw the announcement he’s breathing on his own and was extubated this morning (oxygen tube removed). A really good sign. In addition, his neurological exams have all been positive as I was worried the most the lack of oxygen while getting cpr could’ve caused permanent brain damage. A lot of organs can regenerate, but not the brain.

The other GB (Gunner Bill is the other). I’ve been saying this forever, just like the popularity contest otherwise known as Pro Bowl is meaningless. Yes, it’s nice we are ranked #1, but the things that matter to me is first AFC Champion, then World Champion. I respect a great deal more SB Champ, and the players of the year, rookies of the year, and all pro honors as well as MVP.

Sean McDermott should be Coach of the Year
machine gun kelly replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don, I agree he was snubbed in 2020, and even 2021. They vote on these things before the playoffs and the hand McD has made it through this year is admirable. I too don’t have a vote, but sgree he deserves it. If we win Sunday, and we will he’ll have another 13-3 season. -
Week 18: Pats at Bills, Sunday 1/8 1pm
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can all assume he’s on IR and just announce stuff later. I was POed the night of where a couple of reporters titled their story “ex-Buffalo Bill”. We don’t need instant communication on these matters. We can all wait and just say prayers. -
Week 18: Pats at Bills, Sunday 1/8 1pm

I have not read all 15 pages, but if no one reported it was on of the stations Damar’s jersey is leading the nation this week and all proceeds from Fanatics is going to Hamlin’s charity. It’s a great way to buy his jersey, honor him in the future, and have a nice donation for a great charity. -
What if the Bills refuse to play the Patriots?
machine gun kelly replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
As much as it stinks I think the Pats game will happen. We can only hope there are some positive developments for Damar’s health. -
I was listening yesterday to Pat Kirwan on MTC and he spoke on a similar topic. I believe it was with the Jets, a player was hit with friendly fire, and the player was paralyzed. It changed the game and went from winning the gam to losing. So later in the week, there was good news from the hospital on his prognosis, and it galvanized the players. They had their best game of the year. Eventually the player walked again, but never played anymore, but he was able to coach high school football. I believe his point was some good news was helpful to the team to flip the script. Positive news on Damar would give a real shot in the arm for the team. Water, that is one of my favorite clips from movies as a kid. Thanks for sharing.

Shredder, good man, but the point was to tell Royale you can’t bubble wrap your kids. I’ve broken more bones, torn ligaments, tendons, bursitis, and so on. Bottom line. I won and dealt with the pain. That was a long time ago. My kids the same and they didn’t get seriously injured in tackle ball. All had more injuries in other sports. They were athletes and that in it’s nature means they threw their bodies into their game. You can’t let a mom dictate bubblewrapping your kid. It won’t help.
-
Right. I did my best to let Royale know all the other examples of injuries in other sports. Concussions, broken bones, soft tissue injuries, torn ligaments, etc all not from football. I won’t repeat. Just do the hw. On soccer, lax, and other sports like mine in wrestling and powerlifting on multiple injuries. All the technique in the world can’t remove injury risks.
-
Royale, I have two sons and both were athletes. Neither had any serious injury from football. However, my oldest who is 23, had a full ride in lax and had all 5 of his concussions fro lax and 0 from football. My middle never had a serious injury and is 21 who now is growing part time while finishing his PT degree as a football coach. I have friends whose kids had multiple concussions in soccer. You can’t bubble wrap your kids. My one son practicing in a flag league (adults) tore his ACL, PCL, MCL by just pivoting from an out to inside route without contact from anyone. Myself, I beaned a kid on middle school in baseball as I hit a line drive wide to him in the head while on the bench so not with a helmet on so he went to the hospital and was a complete accident. Myself I live with broken noses, fingers, more soft tissues than I can describe from wrestling. Even more for 16 years of powerlifting. Pretty much every joint has been injured multiple times. Are you getting my point? It was a freak accident. You also don’t know as they don’t have definitive info whether Hamlin had an undiagnosed coronary abnormality. Royale, you’re a good dude, but you can’t bubble wrap your kids. Think about it and before you make that decision, really, not supwrficially do you’re hw. You can always have youre boy play flag football as they can get a lot of skills down until 12.

The Bills usually under McD and Frazier have been masters at adjustments, so I’m not extrapolating anything from last night with the small sample size. This is a back burner topic we can chat later after we know Damar is ok, and that is all that matters. I’m praying for him, the family and the team as they will need some counseling as well coping with this trauma. This is not a criticism of the topic, just too early in Timing.
-
I too agree the Cincy team and more importantly the fans were a class act last night, and the fans around the league for their donations. On the football side, there is no way I’m rooting for any team but the Bills throughout the playoffs. If you mean if we are elongated, then yes, they are a better option than KC. I don’t think anyone else in the AFC can come anywhere near the skill, talent and coaching of the above three teams. One thing I didn’t like was initial reports of “ex-Bills fan Damar Hamlin”. That was a huge leap when we have no idea what will be the outcome of his prognosis. I’d like to remain positive and think it was a sudden event that is not repeatable.
-
Well written Doc. As much as I’m sure they care, it’s much easier to allow the pros to work.
-
My only concern is Damar is ok, and I pray for his family. The coaches and NFL did the right thing in suspending the game. I’m sure they will figure it out, and I just don’t see how the players can focus right now. I was a little surprised they flew back to Buffalo when the players probably wanted to stay. It’s probably for the best as they can have some semblance of normalcy sleeping in their own beds and hugging their wives and girlfriends.

The line moved significantly in the last hour or two.

Simon: Im not starting a dialog on this as silly, but that’s an article and there are hundreds refuting these exact points. I work in anti infectives and specialists. I enjoy speaking with these specialists that it’s about close proximity, close quarters like the winter up north, not washing hands, people transferring viruses and bacteria through touching things. The easiest way for me is at my gym I’m touching things others have touched in a recent period of time and need to constantly wipe crap stuff done. Being in cold or wet weather won’t get you sick. Being in a plane is about touching bacterial/viral stuff and air borne pathogens. if you disagree, I respect but disagree with you. -

I’m sure you’re kidding, but hopefully you’re not thinking being wet or cold has one iota to do with a cold because it doesn’t. As an aside I work with Critical Care Pulmonologists and Infectious Disease Specialists. -
The Phins; from 8-3 to 8-8. An epic collapse

$ to Dognuts that made me spit out my Powerade zero. Too funny. I never get on other fan base sites, but my six fingered friend brought up a fun one. I so thoroughly enjoy talking to the MTC guys on NFLR about the Bills opportunities and a little comment here and there about the Fish. They will go back to their anonymity soon enough. -
Chiefs flexed to Saturday (Jags-Titans too)
machine gun kelly replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why sit starters when we need to win at all costs and can rest the team with the #1 seed. The Raiders won’t beat the Chiefs even though the Chiefs have won poorly the last few games against bad teams, but they still keep winning. Besides I take great pleasure in watching us demoralize Cheatriots fans with no punt games. I agree with the win tonight and I’d only want to sit banged up starters in the 2nd half if we are up by 21 and humming into the 3rd quarter.
