This is when I became a Bills addict. I remember OJ and had great memories, but this is when I couldn’t get enough of the Bills and never left. Klos, I’ll never forget all of the great things Ralph did for Buffalo, protecting the team, remembering the 1940’s Bills, but he was so off in his hiring of Coaches and Mgmt., and meddling. He also did a great deal for the league in protecting small market teams, understanding revenue sharing and even was a small part in MNF. Him having a problem with Knox, placing us in the abyss, and then repeating with Littman over Polian was horrible. I guess some of us appreciate the Pegulas a little more as they made their mistake with Wrex, but fixed it with McBeane. The under 40 crowd may not appreciate unless real historians what we have now. I know I’m talking proud. Thx Chand.

I’m with you Duffs. I want BB to desperately try and hold on for four more losing seasons to reafffirm he plays checkers not chess like every other coach, and Brady was the catalyst to his success. It would be sweet to see Pats fans suffer for five straight years of losing seasons, then one of his coordinators take over and they keep losing (oh and we win the East for the next four years and beyond).

I know when I read Wolfe’s final comments, I almost spit out my water. If he added, Watson settled out of court, takes his 8 game suspension and is traded to the Fins, maybe. I would think that would mean a two horse race each year for the East, but with Tua. Uh,no. I can see them creating space between themselves and the Jets/Pats, if and a big if Tha improves. They are nowhere near in our league. We have to contend with outside of the Chiefs, the Browns, Ravens, and Colts (if Wentz is the old Reich Wentz). These are most likely for the foreseeable future the AFC playoff contenders as I just don’t know if Big Ben has much left.

You obviously have never driven through Stark, FL. 😇. They used to pull people over for 31 in a 30. It was such a scam the FHP took over as they disbanded the local police dept. it’s a necessary route to get to Jax from Tampa. Im no fam of Meyer, but Shanny, and McCarthy were nabbed too. It seems this happens every year. I thought Habaugh and Baltimore were nabbed last year, but it might have been two. I don’t know why these guys push the envelope when all practices are taped and sent to the league office in NY. At least McBeane play by the rules.

Instead of beetle juice, I was thinking whackamole. His name and Ertz just pop up in more threads than not. -
OJ’s 1975 Season. Better than ‘73?

I’ve made this argument on NFLR and other outlets. No one has ran more yards in games than OJ. He may be dispicable as a person, and I agree, but he had the best season of any RB in history. It’s not even close if you look at the yards per game. -
Hard Knocks 2021: Dallas Cowboys

Admittedly, I don’t care and don’t watch, but believe it’s smart not to have us on there even if was an interest. Why provide the information even if sensored? Id much rather stay as far under the radar as possible. Let the wins speak for themselves. -

WNY Homegrown Talent Who Knew ?

I didn’t know Christie was from Ontario, but he lives down here now. (Rather not sure where for his privacy) He comes to the best Bills bar in Tampa from time to time in Brandon. I met his family in the 2019 season and were very gracious. Master, thanks for sharing and I don’t believe there was another thread from here, but the mods would know. -

A couple of thoughts.. Belichik will not win more than 9 games this year as Cam or Mac are just not going to win you tough games. He is a great coach, but you’re not going to do well with those QB’s. Who realistically thinks either QB can lead that team over us twice, the Bucs, Titans, Colts, Saints, and even the Fins twice. Maybe the Fins once, and maybe the Saints (Winston is roll of the dice as I watched him down here and he can score, but I don’t know if that eye surgery was really the catalyst to all of those pics). Flores made mistakes with the back and forth with Tua. Herbert had the same off season last year as Tua and look at the difference. The Fins may have won more games, but that was due to a number of reasons. First, last year the Fins had 11 draft picks, and second they spent $235.8 mil. in free agency. If they wanted to develop Tua, and he really didn’t know the playbook that well, why didn’t they keep Fitz in as the starter until he started losing. Excuses were made Tua’s hip wasn’t completely healed. A head coach doesn’t know it. A head coach can’t figure out Tua wasn’t executing on the playbook. Im fine with McD being placed 5th. That seems right and agree with the guys ahead of him. This year will be exciting for the Bills. We should win 13-14 at least if not more. That record will look so much better after this year, and I don’t see us regressing at all for a long time. -
This is about as newsworthy as the article on the main board from the voice of the Eagles saying a trade is imminent for Ertz. He even writes in the column I have no inside information. There is nothing to trading Hughes or Addison. Like many, I have no issues with trading for Addison, but Hughes, no. That won’t happen. I believe they won’t extend either after this year, especially if they see advances from the rookies and Epenesa.

I know. Pat brought it up, and Harry responded with the pursuit drills he’s doing. If you listened, Pat commended him as he didn’t know almost any players in their typical vacation time (now) that are doing these drills. He laughed and Mills said most players he knew gripes when they had to do these in camp much less on his own with a high school kid helping him. Ill give it to Harry. If honest, and I believe him is doing everything possible to be the best version of himself. Think about how many players are in an island vacation spot, and he’s doing these drills in Nebraska. It’s the reason I was hoping a few guys were able to listen as it was an encouraging interview and show.

That’s what I remember of Campbell a decade ago. Groot is going to use his speed and grow into his body. Without PED’d it takes time to put pure muscle on naturally even with natural supplements, proper nutrition and training hard. Most natural guys working incredibly hard can put on may 7-10lbs. of muscle a year. I’m not worried as he’ll employ different skills Throughout his career. I didn’t expect him to do anything more than packages for him. He hasn’t played football in 18 mos. so it’s pretty aggressive to think he’ll start. Basham is more likely to get into the rotation this year.

PT101, well written my friend. Edmunds has done a lot right, and made some mistakes and played through an injury I suspect was worse than he led on during the season. Not an excuse, he just didn’t look right from game 3-8. I wouldn’t say he’s as good as Devin White, but he is a solid LB and looked a lot better when Milano returned. I called into Polians radio show last week and this was his exact comment that the two compliment each other. What was Captain Obvious to many of us is our front four just wasn’t getting there. The closest to a successful season was Hughes as he was in the backfield quick forcing a number of early throws by opposing QB’s. I’m excited to see what this mew talent will do along with Star back to bring the front four to where it should’ve been last year. It was by far even more than the pedestrian running game our worst deficiency.

Don’t forget the Browns, Giants, Jets, and Indy as well. Hindsight’s 20/20. Would any of them rather have Mayfield, S. Barkley, Darnold, Chubb, or Q. Nelson? I think not. I never thought in my life I would ever see a QB with A. Rodgers caliber, but without the premadonna attitude.
