  1. I eliminated him from my list for other reasons, not hand size. Quite a bit larger, but its also a different leather, its harder and much slicker.
  2. Any chance he is OK but drops to our second round pick?
  3. He looks more like an Aldon Smith physique wise to me. Its Tavon Austin who looks like Maybin, albeit Austin is a shorter and bulkier But, I dont see any scenario where that ziggy ansah from BYU isn't a dominant force in the NFL. Plus with our unknown/hybrid/ what-are-we defense, I think Ansah would be a better fit for a hybrid type guy, which I admit is iroc seeing as Jordan played OLB in college
  4. I like using footballsfuture.com. They have all the results in spreadsheet form, including arm length, 40 times, etc. Hands and arm length are very inportant IMO. Brees and Wilson both have huge hands and abnormally long arms for their height. It lets them grip the ball and get more leverage on it = arm strength and accuracy. Avoid anyone with small hands. Barkley and Nassib are the only ones on that list I would touch considering those measurables.
  5. Hey, at least they are trying. Thats more than I can say about the Bills.
  6. Who is going to throw him the ball? He will be about as useful as a poopy-flavored lollipop untill we solve the issue behind center.
  7. Forget this guy, Im tellin ya, that Z Ansah from BYU is gonna be a stud.
  8. Weeden actually had a very good year. Its unfortunate he is going into his 2nd year and the same age as Rodgers...but there is no way he gets cut.
  9. Id never pass on a guy like Ziggy Ansah to take a LT when we already have a good LT already Id rather take that DJ Fluker from Bama later on and let him compete for a RT/G starting spot.
  10. Ziggy Ansah or a QB or bust.
  11. Good for him. Moving from Buffalo to Nashville is an upgrade IMO.
  12. Personally, this kinda stuff disappoints me. You make your schemes fit your players, not the other way around. Our Schemes would and should be totally different depending on Fitz QB/RookieQB/Vick/Flacco/etc. Enough with this square peg round hole BS
  13. I'd love me some Bart Scott Eric Smith sucks though. He is one of those - Just throw it to whoever Eric Smith is 'covering' - defenders
  14. Im sorry but its simply not possible for the first bold to be true if the second bold is also going to be true. The fact that an idividual as dumb as this politican has made his way into the NY Congress is a very scary thought and just another reason to leave NYS. CUT DOWN ALL THE TREESSSSSSS
  15. This comment was made in what, 2011? That was after his 1st year as coach.
  16. Kelsay had a prime?
  17. If the 9ers had a safety who could cover, they would have won it THIS year! Wake up Donte! You are a weakness on that team!!!!
  18. That logo AINT GOT NOTHING ON MY DESIGN. Grrrrrrr.!
  19. I thought Kaep totally outplayed Flacco. Like some of Flaccos best throws (the deep TD where the WR had to come up short, fall down, then get abck up to score) were bad balls. Meanwhile Kaep had two awesome pin-point deep passes dropped. Plus his WRs were totally blanketed all game long and when they were, he just ran for yards keeping their O going. I didnt think it was really that close either. Kaep had a better game.
  20. This isn't the first time I have read that. It would be the third. One publication ranked Nassib as the best QB in the class, so its not a stretch that the best QB = the best player in the draft. QBs are important so they get extra value.
  21. Remember when Bryant McKinnie was over the Hill and a waste fo space...like in 2008? That was the consenous on this board at least!
  22. No, because its a play-on scenario. What it the punter fumbled and it was recovered by the 9ers?
  23. I thought that throughout the game they were letting them play. Tons of calls that have become 'run-of-the-mill' penalties like defensive holding, PI, and late hits on the QB were totally ignored. It was like watching a game from the 90s. Now, I am all for those types of rules. I hate the way they enforce them these days. BUT - you can't call every little thing all season long then 'let them play' in the Superbowl. Thats BS and I thought it was a horribly called game overall, when you consider how tight they have called games all season long. Taking that into account, I am suprised there wasn't 3 flags on the ground after that contact.
  24. Kaep was amazing. My jaw was dropping all night. He ahd two MONEY deeps throws that were dropped. His accuracy is unbelievable, even on the run. his overthrow and one late throw to Moss were the only bad throws all game, and one was a mental error. He missed a wide open V Davis on a could have been TD (it was a 3rd down and he threw it to Crabtree where it was batted down at the last second). Overall he is a stud. F Buddy for missing on him. I mean really - how could anyone go to a workout and watch Kaep drop bombs like that and not want to draft him ASAP.
  25. Thats why I will be rooting for the 9ers tomorrow.
