  1. OK so I checked the mock-draft sights today and noticed some this guys past drafts. I went through and was stunned at how well he had done. I wish we hired this guy rather than Marv and Dick back in 2008! Below are his results http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/DreamDraft/Dream-Draft.php ***I realize their may be some revisionist history because it appears that he didn’t publish these lists until the end of the preseason, however I remember reading through these right after the draft, in years past. 2008 1-DRC – Solid Starting CB 2- DeSean Jackson – Pro Bowl WR. 3- DaJuan Morgan – S, out of league after 3 years 4- Tashard Choice – Solid Back Up RB 5- Carl Nicks – Pro Bowl G 6- Donal Thomas – Reserve G for NE, Has 25 starts in the last 3 seasons 7- Peyton Hillis – Former PB caliber RB/FB UD- Erin Henderson – Starting OLB for Minn. 2009 Michael Oher – Starting LT for Balt. Has he made a pro bowl? I’m not sure. LeSean McCoy – Pro Bowl RB for the Eagles Jared Cook – Starting TE for Tenn Lawrency Sidbury – Reserve DE for ATL, a nobody Jamon Merideth – Starting G for Tampa after bouncing around the league. Coye Francies – CB, Special Teams player for Oakland Sammie Stroughter – WR, a nobody on the Bucs UD- Dannell Ellerde – ILB for Balt, plays a good number of plays, 11 career starts 2010 Dez Bryant – Pro Bowl WR for the Cows Jimmy Clausen – Backup JD Walton – C, 3 year starter for the Broncos (he also says he was torn between this guy and Jimmy Graham, I find this important bc Graham was the last guy taken in the 3rd round after a slew of other compensation picks, so there is a good chance this guy would have had a chance at Graham later in the third if he had a compensatory pick) O’Brien Schofield – Starting OLB for Ariz Reshad Jones- Starting FS for Miami Trindon Holliday – KR/WR for Denver Selvish Capers- Practice Square T for the Gmen UD- LeGarrette Blount – Former stud RB who is now a backup for TB. 2011 Prince Amukamara – Starting CB for the Gmen Da’Quan Bowers – Backup DE for TB, coming back from two injuries Mason Foster – Starting ILB for TB Julius Thomas- A nobody TE for the Broncos Jeremy Kerley – slot WR for the Jets, currently having a breakout yr…with Sancheze at QB. Jerrell Powe – Backup NG for KC Lee Zimba – T on the Panthers PS UD- Mark Herzlich – Backup ILB for the Giants, has looked good recently when he go a chance to start. 2012- no real reason to go over it yet, but his one Undrafted Pick is worth noting. Vontaze Burfict, who earned a starting job for Cincy, and is playing like a pro bowler at OLB. In conclusion that is 2 PB wrs, a PB running back, a very good slot WR, a couple backup RB studs (relative term), A PB guard, a good-to-great LT and C, another G capable of starting, A solid young TE(and maybe Jimmy Graham, who knows), four solid starting LBs, two solid starting CBs, a starting FS, a young DE that could become a stud when healthy, and great depth along the OL, LB Core, WITH ONLY ONE GUY WHO IS OUT OF THE LEAGUE! INCLUDEING THE UNDERAFTED PLAYERS!!! Add in his 2012 draft and its even more complete.
  2. Everyone on that team has under performed with that boob of a coach they have. I don't expect SD to ditch Rivers under any circumstances, and everyone on that team including Rivers will be much better with a good coach. That team has talent.
  3. It was a general statement more than anything.
  4. Its about time the Paties ego has bitten them. Bellicheat always leaves his starters in to run up the score when he has the game in the bag, which obviously leaves his players open to injuries. This time, it cost him his best offensive weapon. I hate seeing injuries and I really like Gronk, but its about time the Pats got what they deserved. Too bad it wasn't Brady. Only the Bills could not clear a HOF caliber player with back injuries, only to draft a well below average, who has also suffered from chronic back injures since college, and whom they did clear, only to have the player they passed on be 100% fine while the player they did take has been IR'd every season he has been in the league, because of his back injuries. Doh!
  5. Just like the real refs continue to be. I wish they harped on the obvious miss calls the real refs constantly make the same way they did to the replacements. Maybe then the quality would improve.
  6. Dude - our scouts sucks from top to bottom. I dont care if Nix is good - he is only one man. He cannot watch every player in the NFL and College. We need to purge our staff of all these idiots and go find proven people around the league and give them whatver kind of salary it takes to get them here.
  7. I saw GLennon for the first time yesterday and I really like him. He reminds me of Matt RYan. The announcers thought he would be drafted ahead of Barkley behind only Geno Smith, or maybe even the 1st QB taken. I saw some more of that guy from Tenn, Bray. I dont know what people see in him, he isnt very good. Then his coach benched him, he stinks. I am still weary of G Smith too. I don't like his pocket pressence at all. I like Jones and Wilson but I think their more scheme than skill if I am going off the [lack of] success of Bradford/Mallet/Brohm I'd go Glennon in the 1st if we lose enough games.
  8. Greed works both ways. The Refs want[ed] full beinifits and a pension on top of their 6 figure salaries to work 16, 4 hour shifts. And for what its worth, the replacements werent any worse than the regular refs.
  9. I had one of the first 'new' helmets when I was in HS. It wasn't any better than the old ones.
  10. How about the Patsies loose out and we win the division?
  11. http://rochester.ynn...n-orchard-park/ Very serious stuff. No foul play expected (which I got from another article)
  12. when is its 3rd and less than 4, outside of the redzone, there is only one formation that Chan calls. Shotgun 5 wide. He may spice it up by having a RB start in the backfield and then motion him to 5 wide, but this is one assinine consistency I just cannot fathom. Every stinking game I see it. If I was the other teams DC, I would send out my third and long pass rush dime package on 3rd and short bc you know what Chan is going to do. WTF
  13. Riddle me this - why do the Bills cut a guy who is this good? If he isn't going to be a starter anymore (Mario/Anderson) then doesn't he get demoted to 2nd or even third string before getting cut? Seriously, they cut a guy who is much better than our second stringers! No wonder our team never seems to have depth of any kind. Then they bring him back and he plays really well, better than the guys they did keep. Really makes you questions our scoutting staff even MORE than we already question them on their draft pick resume (which is awful)
  14. If we had a top 10 defense, would Fitz be adequate to win? - No, Fitz would turn the ball over at somepoint during the game that causes us to lose. This would be half his fault and half Chan's faults for not calling enough running plays.
  15. At worst he would be a good backup for us. Don't kid yourselfs, Fitz is a great backup but he wont ever be a backup on our team. That is a great idea. Seriously.
  16. The Jets should jsut play him. He either sucks and you can bench him for MacElroy or he wins and you can win games.
  17. Im young and I didn't follow the bills too closely in grade school. I dont know what state you are in, but in NY they have some classes you can take to get your license. Its two days of riding a 250 in a parking lot and at the end they give you a rode test. Almost everyone gets their license. Bikes are awesome, you wont regret getting one. Buy American :-)
  18. I cant believe he alsted as long as he did. Every Jets game I watched he would get pankcaked by some RB.
  19. Have you noticed our playcalling? We go shotgun 5 wide on 3rd and short. Thats not the OLs fault.
  20. I think you mean Williams is a lot worse than McKelvin....
  21. We have gone D heavy in every one of Nix's drafts. Troupe Carrington Moats Batten, Dareus Williams Shepperd Searcy Rodgers, Gilmore Bradham Brooks Carder 2 of our top 3 picks in 2010, 4 of our top 5 picks in 2011, and our top pick this year all on defense and only two are really starting. (Williams stinks and I doubt he starts when he is back and Shep stinks and plays so little I would consider B Scott to the be the starter as he plays so much more) And in two high dollar DL free agents and a hand-picked D cordinator and you get the worst defense in the league, maybe in league history. If Nix could get the job done we would have a strong young D but clearly that is not the case.
  22. At one point we blitz scott on the right side and had Barnett [attempt to] cover Woodhead out of the backfield. Woodhead scored a TD on a 15ish yard catch and run. On TV they showed a great endzone view replay of it. I was dumbfounded that a coach would have Scott Blitz while asking Barnett to cover. Those assignements should have been switched. On the next drive, Scott covered Woodhead and made a good play swatting a pass down. I believe that was on a 3rd down and forced a punt. How does Wanny not know this stuff already and think this out beforehand? Ugh.
  23. I disagree. Fitz is average at best. The things he does for this team is basically what 30 other NFL QBs could do. What he doesn't give us is where he stinks. He has terrible pocket pressence. At one point in the 2nd quarter he litterally sacked himself by stepping up into a blocked defender. Plus, he is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. With every dropp back, I am sitting there thinking 'Oh no Oh no Oh no....' It just so happens that in two of the last three games it took him all game before he threw another crucial, game killing INT - which has been his MO his entire time in Buffalo. Plus, think of how his limitations hurt our O. I know we score a lot of points, but I think thats bc our O has a good design from Gailey. Fitz is useless if he has to throw more than 15 yards. So defenses don't even really have to cover that area of the field. Same thing with the sidelines - Fitz cant throw it that far with any velocity or accuracy and it makes it that much easier to defend. Plus, we never run the ball. Gailey needs to call more run plays and get on Fitz about always checking out of plays to stupid throws. 9 carries for Spiller? Its a joke. Everyone watching these games sees what needs to be done and our NFL staff can't see it? WTF.
