  1. Not gonna agree with you there, sorry. Move on. (I will as well)
  2. How it SHOULD work is that TT remains the starter until the guy we draft next year is ready to step in. Very simple. That is managing an NFL football team. Can't tank in the NFL unless you don't mind losing the buy in of your whole team.
  3. You are correct there, however my point still holds, especially once the extra FG was scored. Coaches shut the thing down. 24 attempts that made it to the level of "attempt" in 1st half. 5 in the second half. (woulda been 7 with 2 sacks, one was a designed qb draw) Hence 29 pass attempts for TT total
  4. Semantics. 24 attempts in the 1st half to 5 in the second half, give or take a sack or two ... same point. We tucked and punted INTENTIONALLY. That 1st 3rd quarter drive you bring up gave us a field goal, which is when the COACHES pulled the plug.
  5. wrong - The team chose to throw 5 passes in the 2nd half, Not Tyrod (who was successful throwing the ball in the 1st half by the way). Combine that with no audibles allowed in Dennison's offense...
  6. Basically agreeing with you here but - The Bills threw the ball 5 times in the second half. F-I-V-E That SCREAMS one of 2 things (there are really no OTHER possibilities) 1 - They don't trust TT and the O to continue to produce like they did in the 1st half for some reason 2 - They believe in the philosophy to 'shut it down', punt and let the defense win the game for you when you have a lead on the road. There is nothing about TT's deficiencies that caused anything in this game beyond (arguably) the completion to O'leary you mentioned. 5 passes in the second half people...
  7. I believe they rotated in 2 recently acquired DT's. Seemed to help, as little as it may have been.
  8. Accurate. The above is not an opinion that can be debated for 50 pages, it is a fact. ... But it will still be debated.
  9. Correct, the coaches completely shut down the offense for the whole 4th quarter made it frustrating.
  10. THIS is the thread you just HAD to write? LAME Any road win in KC is a GREAT Win - ANY year
  11. Tre White, TT for throwing to the sticks when he was supposed to, Wood had a good day, Frazier had the D humming. Zay making progress. Overall though, Tre
  12. Prediction - If TT has truly learned something from his benching and will now most always throw to the sticks on 3rd and long like he did vs. the Chargers and not bail out of the play with a dump off to a surrounded back for 2 yards - He will remain on the team through the off season. He and the guy we draft can battle it out until the guy is ready to take the job from TT. If he hasn't learned, he's as good as gone.
  13. Most average fans don't watch other teams with the same level of detail, and aren't aware of any trend except for everyone's favorite - "it's a passing league". They might be SHOCKED seeing the number of stating NFL QB's (some that they admire greatly) who only carry 2 reads on a given passing play for their team. Remember, there are only drop-back pocket passers in the NFL The guy we've got is a decent to good starter when the offense plays to his strengths... Great? Nope. Draft one next year? Yep.
  14. The NFL owners as a group are far more clueless on the football side hires than some of you let on. And that's not a problem. They need to provide, nothing more.
  15. As if any of these owners has a clue as to how to build a winning football team. This is a non-issue. Is he willing to spend $ when asked to / justified? Yes - check. Done
  16. He should be on the field with his hand on the ground on 2nd and 3rd and long, and a LB on goal line D, and on the bench for the rest (other than special teams).
  17. Say goodbye with posts like that...
  18. Hey, you were equating him with Peterman, not I. I just stated where he's at...
  19. He's miles better and you know it. He is what he is. About the 15th best starter (well not any more) in the league. Needs players around him to win with consitency and a scheme made for him
  20. This team decided to middle their way in 2017, and this is the result. Easily could win 10 games if they had simply left the offensive scheme from 2016, even with TT's known flaws. I am embarrassed as a fan this year.
  21. Embarrassed to be a fan of this team today with what they rolled out. Depleted talent beyond all hope. Zero Depth Square peg, round hole offense that plays to TT's weaknesses, not strengths. A coach who thinks a rookie, weak armed pocket passer can work with our OL's pass blocking ablility
  22. This is all 100% accurate as well. Between you and the OP, mic drop.....
  23. I think you (they) are 100% correct as to the reason. REALLY like TT as a Bill, but those concerning traits cannot be denied, and while he has truly developed some this season, it's just not enough.
  24. Not really. We hate the Dolphins, and my particular comment has special meaning to those that got the comment.
