  1. You're all the same. You call the people on the board who are actually in line with reality - (to sum it up yet one more time - Is our QB good enough? No. Is he the best thing we've got for the last 3 years and quite likely the last 18? Yes) TT apologists. You reply to a single line of an entire train of thought or discussion. Reading comprehension is a lost art and so is watching the rest of the league apparently.
  2. But remember man they're Realists, Hard Truthers, and know better, cuz Yardage!
  3. It really just comes down to putting someone on the field that is better. Until the Bills are legitimately able to start a quarterback that they acquire via ANY means that is better than TT, then he should be playing for them since he is the best qb we've had here in the drought, minus part of a season with an aging Bledsoe. Not sure why this concept escapes so many folks. You can B word about him all you like but until that occurs you are wasting your energy. The man has established flaws and also benefits he brings. There is no drawback to having him play until the future qb is ready. I hope that it's via the draft, but whatever they go with is fine, as long as they do make it a priority.
  4. Do some of these moron out of the woodwork posters today realize the the Bills are operating with the worst depth of talent in the entire league besides Cleveland? And it isn't really close. Do they realize that this current semblance of an O-line couldn't pass protect for anyone but TT, Cam, Watson and Wilson in this league? It is bloody amazing we are 8-7. No D-line depth, little LB talent, Very little WR talent, tragically thin at RB. A decent but flawed QB with a completely inexperienced backup. Basically a good secondary and a pretty good running game is our only claim to fame.
  5. Don, do you have a grudge with your source? Did he piss on your cheerios or get with a girlfriend of yours? I bet he'd be fumed at you if he saw all of this... And the Bills DO have people that scour forums and social media. These are the things I think about when I see your information. Is it worth going out on a limb for what amounts to general information that most would assume to be true/not true without a source? I have no real feeling one way or another on the validity, just trying to use common sense.
  6. Trying to stay as positive as possible for a team you are a fan (fanatic) of? BLASPHEMY! Why do that when you can put a safe, negative take on everything? It shows you are hard! and critical! and a "realist"! and "not gonna buy what they're selling"! and "not a schil"! and if they only listened to you, the team would be better off!
  7. Sal C brings more than all the others with the combo of having true knowledge of the game (with coaching experience) along with intelligent questions, conclusions and a personality that keeps it lively.
  8. LOL. PLUS , that's not an "in game decision". Double Fail.
  9. This thread still exists why?
  10. Shopp is perplexed... It's comical. Hmmm Dude, I wonder why all these millionaire coaches with millions atr stake don't agree with you Mike? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  11. Odds are just odds based on the history of the whole league. They don't account for things like weather, field condition, how good of a push your O-line can get with no passing threat, the fact that the 3rd string QB who isn't really a QB is in, fatigue levels. I would have gone for the 1st down on 4th, but I can understand why we punted where we did with the wind and the time left.
  12. surprisingly good refereeing today? who woulda thought
  13. I don't care - this is the best thread today!
  14. I am as well. We'll know for sure the kid has worthy potential atleast once the switch happens, if done honestly.
  15. Not sure why folks are afraid of keeping the guy around another year until the draft prospect can beat him out, all while the team is getting better around them.
  16. whoah... Saw that yesterday and thought it was just my eyes. How the?
  17. Not gonna agree with you there, sorry. Move on. (I will as well)
  18. How it SHOULD work is that TT remains the starter until the guy we draft next year is ready to step in. Very simple. That is managing an NFL football team. Can't tank in the NFL unless you don't mind losing the buy in of your whole team.
  19. You are correct there, however my point still holds, especially once the extra FG was scored. Coaches shut the thing down. 24 attempts that made it to the level of "attempt" in 1st half. 5 in the second half. (woulda been 7 with 2 sacks, one was a designed qb draw) Hence 29 pass attempts for TT total
  20. Semantics. 24 attempts in the 1st half to 5 in the second half, give or take a sack or two ... same point. We tucked and punted INTENTIONALLY. That 1st 3rd quarter drive you bring up gave us a field goal, which is when the COACHES pulled the plug.
  21. wrong - The team chose to throw 5 passes in the 2nd half, Not Tyrod (who was successful throwing the ball in the 1st half by the way). Combine that with no audibles allowed in Dennison's offense...
  22. Basically agreeing with you here but - The Bills threw the ball 5 times in the second half. F-I-V-E That SCREAMS one of 2 things (there are really no OTHER possibilities) 1 - They don't trust TT and the O to continue to produce like they did in the 1st half for some reason 2 - They believe in the philosophy to 'shut it down', punt and let the defense win the game for you when you have a lead on the road. There is nothing about TT's deficiencies that caused anything in this game beyond (arguably) the completion to O'leary you mentioned. 5 passes in the second half people...
