  1. Its a one man crusade. Hard to pull off! I'm pretty sure everyone else realizes Shady is still Shady and there are reasons for statistics.
  2. I'm sure the game will end up here within a day or 2 - https://www.timekills.org/bills-video/ Then the number crunchers can watch every play and see the nice 3rd down conversion passes he had called back, along with 2 drops of passes right on the hands. He had about 3 really poor throws. Definitely improving!
  3. By far the most annoying thing that occurs on this site. All just to be right. Who cares?
  4. Good stuff. It's important he notes some of the plays Allen made that didn't count as you can still evaluate off of that (the 2 consecutive 3rd down conversions Allen had passing the ball that were called back).
  5. the only way on the board these days is to really narrow the scope of posters you are able to view
  6. It's hard to believe how transparent the refs show their dislike for JH with these non-calls you speak of. Missed calls happen all over the league but Jerry seems to get nada out of at least 3 blatant "he's literally holding him in place by his jersey" situations every game Now given, Jerry has earned some of that bad rep with refs....but still wow
  7. To be clear I mean Gronk, not Edelman. (not sure if you knew that part) And if you've seen Gronk operate a microphone for 10 minutes, you'd realize he is not a man of calculated nature in any realm. If not, let me share how the Tre and Gronk situation actually went down (yes you could even follow it on the broadcast version)... Tre is assigned coverage on Gronk for a significant number of plays during the game. Tre is a supremely confident individual. Tre doesn't talk trash on the field. As the game progresses, Tre is taking all the same physical opportunities that Gronk usually imposes on others... (Grabbing, Holding, etc. etc.). It's constant and unrelenting. Gronk eventually thinks (or says?) something to the effect of "Get this little gnat off of me" (probably less PC). Gronk pushes back, yells back, complains to the refs, etc etc. bit nothing is happening! He's not getting the calls from the ref... He addresses Tre and Tre just smiles and keeps doing what he does. Finally the water boils over and "Gronk Smash" turns into the dumb reactive "frat boy brah" that is his true identity and always has been and he loses his self control and does the deed. Please by no means proceed to try to tell anyone that Gronk has any involvement whatsoever in calculated psychological warfare and is carrying out the intended plans of high level PATS decisions of intimidation and removal of hope. It's laughable. Gronk hungry - gronk eat
  8. Sorry not buying the 1st part. He's a tool thats all it was. Respect your opinion though
  9. Not saying thought about it. It seemed it was implied that it was an organizational strategy as opposed to an emotional reaction by a dumb Neanderthal of a person.
  10. you believe the Gronk hit on Tre white was calculated in any way? WOW the levels that we have gone to in our Patriot folklore! I didn't think you were susceptible to such things?
  11. True it can part of their human nature but they need to check themselves regularly. My point was more about the timing of the penalty. There's been a disturbing historical trend noticed by some with regard to Pats offensive holding penalties and when they occur in games in relation to the rest of the league (ie. the majority occur when the game is no longer in the balance/competetive)
  12. Did you see the golden offensive holding call on the Pats while the game was still in the balance the other night? I was shocked and had to double-take! It was like seeing a unicorn.
  13. Not gonna happen, nor should it. Not gonna happen next year either. The O was doomed from the offseason. It was pretty obvious. Decisions were made to do away with high priced talent they didn't want on the team long term, affecting cap room and immediate state of replacement. This was going to be a losing season where the Bills focused on solidifying the defense and drafting a QB of the future Whether 7-9 or 4-12, it was going to be a losing season and a lost cause for the offense. Would not trading AJ away (or a vet placeholder) have made us closer to 7-9 and not 4-12? Probably yes. Does it matter? nope. Whether anyone agrees with this approach or not, this IS what is happening. I really don't care one way or the other as long as they have a plan and are proceeding through it (which is obvious) ...
  14. Its halfway through a rebuild, thats why Should be obvious
  15. there it is.... Edmunds would have made that stop on 3rd and 8
  16. damn he was playing amazingly tonight
  17. What a D tonight... Its such a shame about Edmunds he was playing so well!
  18. seriously just shut the incessant whining
  19. Bama is by far the most boring thing about college football... However, come pre-draft time I end up seeing lots of Bama game video
  20. why are so many getting upset over what is obviously set to happen? Why say Gm's and coaches are getting fired (they wont and will be here for a long time) all over a near talent-less offense that obviously isn't going to get over on anyone? This year became a JA and other young players (Edmunds) development year and that's all that matters.
  21. no Josh playing today = no point since this season on O was a known wash. That's been my level of concern. Was hoping the D played well but it doesn't matter really.
  22. why comment when you didn't watch? Saying he didn't show improved accuracy today is not valid.
  23. Allen wasn't beat up all game and he got rid of the ball mostly on time today. Do you watch? The loss is most certainly on Peterman. Like all of it.
  24. This is exactly what makes analytics (At times) utterly meaningless. It's a nice tool to use as PART of an analysis. it NEVER provides te whole picture.
