  1. Shoulda been yep. It's amazing how teammates factor into each-others outcomes in football, yet we (well not me lol) think measuring things like the "Record" of a QB has meaning on it's own
  2. TT having a subpar game overall yesterday (along with many others on O) AND TT making a perfect throw on the last play (not really debatable) CAN (and do) both exist in the same game people. I know it's crazy to conceptualize but
  3. I was actually defending the accurate throw TT made there. Stating that Zay stumbled a little and bent the route off too much toward the sideline, which he did. That play is for sure supposed to be thrown to the pylon considering the position of the deep and inside safety. Anyway... just clarifying for you. I think most understand (other than the hopeless) by now it was the right throw. Regardless of that, TT and the offense as a whole had a poor outing still.
  4. Yep, it's a post-corner zone beater
  5. At times Shaq DID flash the 1st round talent today, however.... As a LDE in a 4-3 I think he's doing a very good job this season. Quite an up-tick from last (injury factor plus experience).
  6. Not wrong. Corner route adjustment carries a line to the pylon (like it was thrown). Zay shortened off the route. He'll learn, I'm not worried about him. Beyond all that TT missed some plays earlier in the game (maybe haters should focus on those instead of the GW pass that he threw to the right spot) and the run-game was non-existent. Add in a VERY good Carolina front 7 and at home, and you have of less than stellar offensive showing for sure.
  7. Well said in your unique way ...
  8. That's why this board is the best. You nailed what happened on the play. It's hard to ignore all the BS spewed but that's why we're called fans. Good to have fellow posters who appear to have played or coached the game and can talk about it. TT could have gotten rid of a couple throws quicker today with that said.
  9. It looks like a bad throw because Zay tripped breaking to the corner. Just watch it... That said, TT could have certainly had a better game. No support from the O-line in the run game either.
  10. Football is a simple game some days. The offense is not getting any run blocking done, nor do they have more than 1 to 2 seconds to throw on passing plays. Plus keeping TT taking snaps from center needs to be adjusted in 2nd half. D is playing well and should have a couple turnovers, but didn't come up with them.
  11. Fair enough. However, what we are likely seeing here is just the result of the NFLPA collective bargaining agreement's guidelines on reporting injuries throughout the week. Shady is getting a rest day and has soreness.
  12. 11 games missed in 8 seasons. What a history!
  13. He had 3 though, and said as much in his own interview the next morning. Also said he should have caught the TD that got picked as it "went right through my hands".
  14. Nope... untrue. and it's the same "game" that's used in varying degrees by Russel Wilson, Aaron Rodgers and Ben Rothlisburger. If he were to continue his trend from the small sample yesterday of working the middle, keeping his eyes down field and leading the receivers ( he did an excellent job of that yesterday) he would be COMPLETELY "suited for today's NFL". Will that happen? Not entirely likely but players do often improve and fans don't often take that into account.

  17. Both those guys are established as solid NFL players. They weren't on trial this preseason. If one of them goes it'll be due to a numbers game between the FB and TE position.
  18. Players often make some of the worst front office personnel with regard to long term thinking so the response you got was quite typical, whichever side you may be on.
  19. Thx- either way same group

  21. Yep TT will still have his challenges, but they're not going to make him fail intentionally.
  22. Anyone notice TT was forced to take snaps from Center and NP was forced to take mostly shotgun snaps, 2 things they are both known not to be as familiar/comfortable with? Does everyone also feel they will still force TT to take mostl snaps from center once the season starts? Are you sure?
  23. The avoiding of Buffalo or any number of notorious bottom-feeding teams for draft prospects is much more a thing of the past (Biscuit, Elway) than something currently going on in the league.
