    I thought we were talking how you hoped Benford wouldn’t be so good that that it made Elam look bad as you implied in the post I replied to. If this post, which I agree with BTW, is offered as clarification on your earlier post, then I thank you for clearing it up.

    Can’t disagree more. If Benford becomes a first ballot HOFer, that’s no reflection on Elam, Beane, our scouts or anyone else.

    Not sure how much actual concussion protection it adds, but it’s at least something. Not sure if you caught my edited post, but to clarify, they’re only mandated for training camp practices.

    Broke my seven year old heart when I watched him and the Chiefs kick our asses in the ‘66 AFL championship game. Always liked him and those Chiefs teams and rooted for them often, especially during SB IV against the Vikes. Travel well, Len Dawson.
