  1. 😂
  2. That’s a Texas-sized ten four.
  3. All due respect to Cam Lewis, but Poyer would have made all the difference in that game.
  4. I appreciate your point about the coaches, but it’s not unreasonable for a coach to expect a player to make a play when they are in a position to do so. The DBs were where they needed to be when they needed to be there and couldn’t make the play. Players need to make plays when they’re put in a position to do so. Coaches can only do so much.
  5. Regarding Jefferson, that’s just it; the coverage was there all game. Nearly all his catches were contested and our DBs couldn’t win one contest. Not one. Especially when it mattered most. But Jefferson seems to do that to most teams. I’m not convinced Wilson brings that same ability on contested catches. Then again, I haven’t seen him enough. But he’s been pretty good in what little I have seen. Having Tre back there will certainly help, too.
  6. Love the optimism, butI wish I was as confident as you are, at least vs the Jets. That D is great at every level with players that fly to the ball on every play. They are designed to make plays and keep games close. I’m certainly hoping we can teach them a lesson though.
  7. There will come a time when we show that Davis look, Josh will fake a lunge into the line, step back, and hit Knox, Diggs, or an eligible tackle with a quick strike.
  8. Yep. He wins the physics battle more often than not. That said, I’d like him to avoid those battles. But he’s such a competitor I’m not sure that will ever be fully stopped.
  9. The “Little Dirty Toss Left Y Banana” should only be called with the wind.
  10. Not only should pushing teammates be allowed, but I believe picking teammates up and tossing them should be allowed as well. I think Dawkins and Brown could sling Little Dirty into the end zone from seven yards out.
  11. Ya see them little blinks.
  12. Two, according to the Football Database. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/penalties-player.html?tm=4
  13. I suspect he’d look damn good.
  14. Wouldn’t it be great if Josh can make the Pats*** his B word like Brady made us his B word for all those years?
  15. He ran eight times last night, some of which were scrambles and not designed runs. How much less than twice a quarter should he run considering the kind of unique running weapon he is at the position? I think the number of designed runs might be effected by the number of hits he’s taking in the pocket during the course of a game and last night definitely called for less considering the hits he took. But the fact is, he just doesn’t take a lot of hits when his line is healthy or playing an inferior front, unlike the Pats*** who have a very good D line.
  16. I agree with the OP entirely. For the umpteenth time, Cam Newton’s career wasn’t shortened because he ran too much and took too many hits while running, it was shortened by acute shoulder injuries to his throwing shoulder. Running Josh is a weapon that few teams possess and he should have free reign to do so. His mere threat to run the ball forces defenses to account for that aspect of the game which effects other things a defense wants to do. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be smart about it; he should slide and look to avoid unnecessary contact more than he does. But he’s a running threat and he needs to continue to be.
  17. I suspect the Jets organization needs to see how he reacts to this situation. And I wonder if his comments haven’t irreparably caused a problem in the locker room.
  18. I think he meant to say every game vs per game. I believe Barry Sanders has the record for most 100 yard games in a season, but it wasn’t every game.
  19. Love the optimism, but winning the next two merely puts us in a good position. There are three games to play after that and if there is one thing we know for sure in this league, it’s that nothing is for sure in this league. I like our chances though, that’s for sure.
  20. Read my response above. Again, I wasn’t referring to their on air talent, but the production crew behind it.
  21. I wasn’t talking about Amazon’s on air talent, although Al Michaels has seen better days. It’s their production crew itself that leaves a something to be desired.
  22. I think the Amazon production crew has flat out sucked the entire year. It’s amateur hour at Amazon. I get the impression it is staffed by people who just couldn’t get jobs with the major networks.
