Yep. Saul is now the one who knocks like he did at Marion’s back door. He’s totally broken bad. I wonder if he will take Kim’s advice and actually turn himself in after all.

OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
K-9 replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
We also saw it when we played them in NE*** the second time we faced them last season. They couldn’t force a punt in that game, either. The Pats*** need a bad weather equalizer to take the ball out of Josh’s hands like the home games here in 2020 and 2021. Because we’ve absolutely dominated their defense in each game since Brady left. It’s a shame we had those gale force winds in Buffalo last season, otherwise McD would have been the first HC to beat Belichick three consecutive times. As it is, I like our chances to do that when we meet them this season. -
OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"

I disagree with the bold text. McDaniel was a defensive assistant in NE*** for Brady’s first four years during which time he had been to a Pro Bowl and had firmly entrenched himself as their starter. McDaniels didn’t become QB coach until 2004. If anyone was responsible for Brady’s early development, it was Charlie Weiss. -

The only thing that changed was Beasley’s adherence to the same COVID protocols established in 2020. While every other non vaccinated player adhered to those protocols on a daily basis for as long as those protocols were in place last season, Beasley’s refusal to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines within the building during that period became a major distraction and disruption. If anything about the team changed, it was their tolerance for Beasley’s refusal to follow the same rules he agreed to follow previously.

I just assumed he was inside a wideout to the left. Should have done what you did and counted first. Oops.
-
He’s inside a WR to his left, so yeah.

Play design.

To paraphrase Doug Whaley, human beings shouldn’t be able to do that.

Baldy’s right pinky finger looks like a botched Frankenstein operation.

You’d think this would be rather obvious to anyone who has watched games around the league for a while, especially since more emphasis was placed on the passing game league wide. DL depth is simply a higher priority given the nature of the game today.

He’s an edge rusher and always has been. The fact that he occasionally drops into coverage in certain D calls does not make him a linebacker. Nor does the fact that he sometimes rushes out of a two point stance vs. putting a hand in the dirt. He’s an edger rusher with versatility.

I think @ScottLaw’s biggest issue is his naïveté about league personnel in general and positional depth in particular. He’s under the impression that the Bills must have 53 NFL starting caliber players on their roster or it’s a lost cause. Never mind that no team in league history has ever achieved this. He’s also heavily invested in negative outcomes, but that’s another discussion at another time.

Warren Sharp fades the Bills - do they even get to 12 wins this year?
K-9 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
When I re-read Sharp’s tweet, I think he’s saying that the Bills overly rely on having to win the turnover battle to win games, but I agree with you that teams that do win the TO battle win 70% of the time, anyway, so I’m not sure why it’s a negative in his eyes either. -
Training Camp practice 7/30 - The pads come on

He was at the Sabres prospects camp a couple weeks ago at Harbor Center. -
Our coverage schemes and execution are extremely good but McFrazier are risk averse when it comes to scheming pressure packages and have been since they arrived. That’s my point about scheme hindering potential dominance. Needless to say, I hope you’re right.

I characterize last year’s D as good but far from dominant. And I think that’s just the nature of McFrazier’s schemes more than anything else.
