  1. Based on CA statutory rape law, Araiza can face a misdemeanor statutory rape charge. Even if he had reason to believe she was 18 or older, even if she told him she was 18, even if she had sex with him consensually.
  2. The + or - is dependent on the team you’re getting on. If you bet the Bills, subtract 10 from their score. If you bet the Titans, add 10 to their score.
  3. DNA was required to match the specific DNA profiles of the alleged assailants. According to the linked article, that’s now been completed by the SDPD. Not sure of other alleged assailants, but according to the article, Araiza voluntarily provided a DNA sample to police on 9/6. The DNA profiles obtained may be inculpatory or exculpatory evidence for Araiza as well as any other of the accused. If that’s not a significant development in the case, I don’t what is. As for the type of testing, what form of DNA testing is usually performed on rape kits? I honestly don’t know, but would be interested in whatever info you could offer.
  4. @muppyposted a linked news article above stating the DNA results are now in and that the SDPD has provided a report stating those tests reveal that multiple men had sex with the victim.
  5. Another caveat I’ll throw out there is even if you have a roster with 22 legit NFL starters already in place, if you have a chance to grab a blue chip future star you do it, regardless of position, regardless of need or not. Playmaker is always a position of need anyway.
  6. Reminds me of the story Jordan Palmer tells about when they were vying for the backup job in Cincy. Palmer said Fitz was the toughest guy ever to compete against because Fitz was just such a great guy that you just didn’t want to. Never heard that kind of respect put that way before. Makes perfect sense.
  7. That’s weird because that’s not my post you responded to, it’s @H2o’s. Not sure how my moniker was inserted.
  8. Is anyone here seriously under the delusion that building teams is a linear process? Never has been, never will be.
  9. Draw attention as well as bolster his civil suit with the gravitas of criminal charges being filed. Given the extent of her injuries and the fact that she went to the police the next day, I find it hard to believe that the police and DA wouldn’t like anything better than to have gathered enough evidence to press criminal charges. The fact they haven’t to this point speaks volumes. The plaintiff’s attorney looks to have gambled and failed in his strategy by filing the civil action.
  10. It will be played here next year because we played there in ‘19.
  11. If Josh is just now potty trained as an NFL QB, then Marcus is still crapping his diapers as an NFL analyst.
  12. I was referring to all the games in general this season as the post I responded to said that when we lose this season, it will be high scoring losses, not the low scoring kind of losses we had last year. But thanks for the early weather report for the Titans game none the less.
  13. After reviewing the game, I was struck by how the game was not as close as the final score indicated. The Rams got nearly half their total yards in the fourth quarter after the game was already lost. Been a while since we put it together on both sides of the ball like that. And with four turnovers to boot. 😂
  14. Perhaps he was referring to the Davis TD on third and one in the opening drive?
  15. There is another post game interview somewhere with Ramsey and he flat out said “they whipped our asses” or something to that effect.
  16. Can’t argue with much of anything he said. But I had to chuckle when he said that if you take away the three “explosives”, it’s still 10-10. While Jalen has a firm grip on some of the mathematics involved, there were plenty of other numbers that told the story as well, like 90% third down conversion rate and O punts for instance. There were 55 other plays in addition to those three explosives that tell much more of the story.
  17. Granted, the int on the pass to Crowder was a poor decision by Josh but it was mostly about a DB making one helluva play than it was about anything else.
  18. Here’s a few more: Yards per play: Bills-7.1, Rams-3.7 Yards per pass: Bills-8.8, Rams-4.0 Yards per rush: Bills-4.8, Rams-2.9 Perhaps the most impactful as the Rams could never force us to bring a safety up and take us out of our cover 2 concepts.
