Still, that is the nectar of the gods compared to Genny Cream Ale.

Genny Cream Ale? I’d rather strain urine through Fat Bastard’s soiled underwear and drink that before Genny Cream swill.

It’s one thing to get beat by a superior athlete making a great play like Hopkins on the Hail Murray or Jefferson on 4th and eighteen. Indeed, you can tip your hat to them. But it is quite another thing to get beat by a stupid, clueless mistake like the one Lewis committed at that juncture in the game. I appreciate your loyalty to UB players, but Lewis has far less rope to make mistakes like that and I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he doesn’t see the field much moving forward.

For once I’m happy the lake hasn’t frozen over yet.

You could also say you were PRE-disturbed since you’ve seen it once already.

Micah Hyde leaves the door open to returning this season, per Joe Buscaglia
K-9 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d guess that what he’s doing is probably considered non-threatening activity. It would be interesting to see what specific type of range of motion movements, if any, he’s doing with his neck. Ultimately, it’s not up to them. If Hyde returns to football activities before six months it will be unprecedented in sports medicine history. -
Micah Hyde leaves the door open to returning this season, per Joe Buscaglia

The severity of his original cervical disc injury doesn’t matter as the surgical procedure to correct it is what it is. ACDF surgery involves the fusion of bones in the cervical spine and the time frame required for proper fusion of those bones is 6-9 months and we are still three months shy of the low end of that range since he had the surgery. Like i said previously, its a great sign that he was able to resume normal daily activities in the 4-6 week time frame to do so, but resuming a football or any other contact sport activity is an entirely different animal, which is why doctors impose that 6-9 month recovery time to ensure proper fusion to withstand the rigors of football. -

Regarding Hyde and the possibility of him coming back this season, it is great that he returned to normal daily activity in the usual time frame to do so. But as to him returning this season: banish the thought. The recovery time for the cervical fusion surgery he had is 6-9 months. This is to allow the bones grafts IN HIS NECK to properly fuse together. I just can’t see any doctor giving clearance to return to playing football before that 6-9 month window. -
Frazier & McD's defensive strategies a potential postseason liability

Frazier & McD's defensive strategies a potential postseason liability

So the job they did in holding Miami to that paltry 212 yards in the first meeting is no reflection on Frasier, but yesterday’s game tells his whole story. Got it. -

Frazier’s defense held the Miami offense to their season low 212 total yards while missing key starters, including both safeties. I guess you missed that game. -

“The refs made us lose.” There is not a more time honored loser’s lament. -

Playing not to lose? Really? What the Bills did in the final seconds of the game is the very definition of playing to win.- 408 replies

Snowballs - fair game if aimed at Dolphins bench?
K-9 replied to Clark Rotary's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any team, any sport, any field or court of play; any fan that throws anything onto the field or court, or at the bench or even at another fan is a total idiot and should be banned for life. It’s stupid and unacceptable on every level. Full stop. -

That’s why what Motor did was so strategic; it forced Miami to burn their last TO instead of us kicking off to Miami with 30 seconds left and them still having that TO on offense. The decision not to score took away any control Miami might hope to have. -

Ask Nick Chubb if he thinks Motor made the right decision. -

Anyone criticizing Motor for that decision in that game situation, either didn’t see the latest example of why you do what Motor did when Nick Chubb screwed the pooch vs the Jets this season or they have ZERO understanding of game management. In that game situation, Motor did exactly what was called for. Textbook. And I respect that he countered every instinct in his body to do it because RBs are conditioned to get the ball over the goal line and score. -

McD is wont to give a guy another chance, but he is equally wont to glue a guy to the bench for mistakes. But that is for physical errors mostly. What Lewis did was an egregious mental gaffe. I’d be surprised if he sees the field again this season. -

Josh Allen decided he was gonna take over and win this game. 75 yard march to tie the score followed by an 86 yard march to win it. Tip of the hat to Tua, who played great. But he shoulda been taking notes watching Josh. Please don’t ever let us take him for granted. -
