  1. And how well Kupp can play on the outside. I think Palmer is a better fit for this offense
  2. You’re right, we can. Always love your optimism bud
  3. 💯 would’ve been nice to have a shiny new sports car.
  4. I said- He’s a great separator. He has great hands. He can get deep. He can get open 10-20 better than 90% of the league. there are stats littered throughout this thread that say otherwise on the first 3. Can he get open 🚕 10-20 better than 90% of the nfl is certainly debatable. I’ll give you that. But there are stats that suggest that he was last season Every nfl analyst I’ve seen so far thinks this is a good deal and thought he was a very good underrated player. Some players need a change of scenery to flourish. He’s always impressed me and I’m happy he’s a Bill Palmer is an inside guy? Or he was an inside guy when Keenan Allen got hurt?
  5. Ok- none of this is true even though there are statistics that say they are true. Many people who know football think it’s true. Or maybe I should take the BeastMasters word for it
  6. I’d rather Cisco over Holland but Hendrickson would be amazing. I don’t see it happening. I think we might be done with DE until the draft
  7. This is what I think as well. Edge on run downs that can shift inside on pass downs.
  8. I don’t see Palmer as an upgrade to Hollins, rather a likely slight upgrade to Cooper. at least Mack’s departure opens up another WR spot- hopefully in the draft
  9. Agreed. He may not have wanted to leave. Oh well.
  10. Sigh- thanks for the memories Mack. Make your money big mans. I’ll miss you. So will our offense
  11. Slayton reportedly staying in Ny for the same contract Palmer received. 3-36, dunno gtd money. I’d rather have had Slayton at that price but I’m happy with Palmer
  12. His separation/td ratio? 😂 ffs man. I’m sure it would amaze you if he ran a 4.39. He’s a great separator. He has great hands. He can get deep. He can get open 10-20 better than 90% of the league. TDs totals are tough to control as a WR
  13. 4.49 would be great though!!
  14. I’d guess that it’s coming from the 3rd (via trade) 4th or 5th rd. hoping we grab 2 DL and 1 CB in the first 2 rds unless we can add viable starters in FA.
  15. “Ignore it there too”- as if we are ignoring it because we haven’t signed a DL yet- 5 hours into free agency We don’t develop our draft picks into elite players. We develop many into solid/good players. I don’t have numbers but I’d bet that he has one of the best track record for players drafted still in the nfl.
  16. Not too bad. I’d have paid him that
  17. Same. Considering it’s Carolina- I bet it’s an overpay.
  18. Thanks. great synopsis. Agree with all of it. I don’t think the ceiling of our offense needed to go much higher (related to one of your other posts). It was the best in team history and one of the most efficient in history. IMO, we needed to replace Cooper with a similar talent and then improve the defense. I think Palmer is a similar talent to cooper (at this stage of his career)
  19. I don’t want to read the nonsense likely going on in this thread, but I’d like your take on the signing. Mind giving me you cliff notes? I wanted Slayton but Cooper was my #2 guy
  20. lol- like I said- you picked on me saying has ever done. When I should have said- ever been. None of them have ever been known making playing in big games. How many big plays have our DL made in the playoffs? our conversation has nothing to do with Beane. It has to do with you. Welcome back
  21. But he runs a 4.52!!! those people are making me ill. I’m glad I was at work all morning so I got to miss the first 14 pages
