  1. I don’t see Palmer as an upgrade to Hollins, rather a likely slight upgrade to Cooper. at least Mack’s departure opens up another WR spot- hopefully in the draft
  2. Agreed. He may not have wanted to leave. Oh well.
  3. Sigh- thanks for the memories Mack. Make your money big mans. I’ll miss you. So will our offense
  4. Slayton reportedly staying in Ny for the same contract Palmer received. 3-36, dunno gtd money. I’d rather have had Slayton at that price but I’m happy with Palmer
  5. His separation/td ratio? 😂 ffs man. I’m sure it would amaze you if he ran a 4.39. He’s a great separator. He has great hands. He can get deep. He can get open 10-20 better than 90% of the league. TDs totals are tough to control as a WR
  6. 4.49 would be great though!!
  7. I’d guess that it’s coming from the 3rd (via trade) 4th or 5th rd. hoping we grab 2 DL and 1 CB in the first 2 rds unless we can add viable starters in FA.
  8. “Ignore it there too”- as if we are ignoring it because we haven’t signed a DL yet- 5 hours into free agency We don’t develop our draft picks into elite players. We develop many into solid/good players. I don’t have numbers but I’d bet that he has one of the best track record for players drafted still in the nfl.
  9. Not too bad. I’d have paid him that
  10. Same. Considering it’s Carolina- I bet it’s an overpay.
  11. Thanks. great synopsis. Agree with all of it. I don’t think the ceiling of our offense needed to go much higher (related to one of your other posts). It was the best in team history and one of the most efficient in history. IMO, we needed to replace Cooper with a similar talent and then improve the defense. I think Palmer is a similar talent to cooper (at this stage of his career)
  12. I don’t want to read the nonsense likely going on in this thread, but I’d like your take on the signing. Mind giving me you cliff notes? I wanted Slayton but Cooper was my #2 guy
  13. lol- like I said- you picked on me saying has ever done. When I should have said- ever been. None of them have ever been known making playing in big games. How many big plays have our DL made in the playoffs? our conversation has nothing to do with Beane. It has to do with you. Welcome back
  14. But he runs a 4.52!!! those people are making me ill. I’m glad I was at work all morning so I got to miss the first 14 pages
  15. 4.52 is too slow!!!! We need speeeeeed dooooooomed!!!! end sarcasm. get a grip gents- ffs
  16. There is no problem- unless you’re a member of the sadness brigade. palmer is a great route runner with very good hands, solid in contested catches and is explosive on the top of his routes. He knows how to stack DBs. He’s also a solid blocker. He may have signed for more than many were thinking he would and he runs a 4.52 40. Hence some people are sad. I know you and I are happy. This offense isn’t currently built to have a superstar WR1. We likely wouldn’t use that WR accordingly and it would be a waste of money/resources for a part time decoy. I would’ve been happy with one, but the reality is, we don’t need one to have a great offense. Palmer is more than capable of playing coopers role.
  17. I also wrote it: like a little gnat flying around trying to annoy people about the stupidest stuff. you are debating my comment-. He’s a serviceable designated pass rusher that has had the knack for making big plays in big games. Something none of our current pass rushers have ever done. You debate it with: “Not one other current Bills pass rusher has ever made a big play in a big game?” No- our DL haven’t ever been known for that. Everyone knows this. It’s discussed all the time here. You know this to be true. But because I used the phrase “have ever done” rather than “have ever been”- you turn this into a different debate. Have fun arguing with your kids about how to hold a fork.
  18. Nooooo Looks like Grok doesn’t include processing and hustle in it’s algorithm . if we sign Young, I won’t be made. I’ll find a way to get scored about possible upside….but meh. I’m not a fan of his play anymore
  19. NFC- that’s a win
  20. Lol. Good grief. You’re like a little gnat just flying around trying to annoy people about the stupidest stuff. Our defensive lineman aren’t known as closers. None of them. You can play the kid like semantics game of you can play the reality game. Our DL is a problem and they rarely come up big.
  21. No- not really when they are trying to make moves. I one is saying he’s a star. He’s a serviceable designated pass rusher that has had the knack for making big plays in big games. Something none of our current pass rushers have ever done
